Warsaw, Missouri - Tommy L. Remmers, 83, of Warsaw, Missouri, formerly of Wathena, Kansas passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Tommy was born on July 21, 1939, in Auburn, Nebraska to Thomas and Lela (Gerdes) Remmers.

He graduated from Auburn High School in 1958. Tommy went to work for State Farm Insurance in 1958, then moved to Wathena in 1976, and retired from State Farm in 2008.

He was a member of the St Ann’s Catholic Church in Warsaw, Missouri and Knights of Columbus in Wathena, Kansas.

Tommy married Kay Phillips on September 6, 1958, in Auburn, Nebraska. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jerry Lee Remmers, brother, Ervin Remmers, and sister, Norma Dart.

Additional survivors, Kim Manthe, (Ray), St. Joseph, Missouri, Pam Whetstine, (Roger), Troy, Kansas. Sue Remmers, St. Joseph, Missouri. 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Tommy’s wishes were to be cremated with no services.

Michael S. Kates 65, of St. Joseph, MO passed away peacefully Saturday, April 8, 2023 at his home. He was born July 30, 1957 in St. Joseph, son of Nancy (Sampson) and Wilbur Kates. 

He graduated from Benton High School, class of 1975. He married Jamie Lue Matthews on April 22, 2005. Michael worked at General Motors, retiring after 30 years and was a member of the UAW Local 31. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed listening to the police scanner and was the family weather man. 

Michael was preceded in death by his parents. 

Survivors include his wife, Jamie Lue Kates of the home, his siblings, Jim (Kris) Kates of St. Joseph, Terri (Mike) Rampola of Trimble, MO, and Debby (Larry) Filley of Cameron, MO and several nieces and nephews and great- nieces and great-nephews.

He was born February 24, 1946 in Madisonville, Texas the son of Thomas Clifford and Nannie Bell (Harris) Gafford. They preceded him in death.

Dean served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion. He loved his pets and had a passion for racing, especially watching Dale Earnhardt. Dean also loved watching NFL Football games and thought the Packers were the greatest.

Harold Dean “Trip” Gafford 1946 - 2023

Franklin (Frank) DeWayne Reiss, 75, of Weston, MO passed away April 5, 2023, surrounded by family and loved ones. Frank was born in Clay County, MO on September 16, 1947, the son of Fredrick “Wayne” and Elizabeth Anne (Borland) Reiss. 

He lived the majority of his life in the Weston, MO area. He graduated from West Platte(Weston)High School in 1965, where he enjoyed being on the football and wrestling teams. He then went onto Maryville, MO for a year of college, where fate would introduce him to his future bride, Rebecca (Becky) Hiatt, but not before sending him to Vietnam. He returned from SE Asia with a few scars, a couple of Purple Hearts, and a Bronze Star with Valor to denote heroism. 

Few people except those closest to him knew how brave he was or how much he put other’s needs before his. A character trait that he would hold though out his life. He and the love of his life, Becky, would write love letters to each other during his tour, that later their children would find, laughing and teasing them about, but he always said they kept him focused on returning to her. 

He married Becky Hiatt on May 17, 1969, in St. Joseph, MO. They would be married sweethearts for nearly 54 years. He returned to college and graduated from Missouri Western State College with a BA in Accounting, while supporting his young family and working at TWA in the overhaul base. After over twenty years, he retired from TWA to pursue his passion in accounting. 

They say if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. Frank found this with Dale Ferrin, at Ferrin Accounting of Platte City, MO, where he would take ownership of the business upon Dale’s retirement, and expand it to an Atchison, KS office. He built lasting relationships over the years with his clients and caring staff. He would be there until his death. Frank loved fishing, golfing, watching sports, but also intellectually stimulating debates, on almost any topic. He was the person family and friends called if they needed help with just about everything. He was a loving husband, a caring father, and a true friend. His passing leaves an unfillable gap for all who loved and knew him. 

He is survived by his wife, Becky Reiss of Weston, MO, two children, Ed (Becky) Reiss of Omaha, NE, Cindy (Cedric) Reiss-Clark of Malvern, PA, two brothers, Fred (Becky) Reiss of KCMO, and Donald (Janice) Reiss of Cummings, KS, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one on the way, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Elizabeth Reiss, daughter, Jean Anne Mitchell, great grandchild, Vincent Reiss Hayes, five siblings, Mary Anne, Waunita, Jesse, Gloria and Diana Reiss and nephew, Adam Reiss.

Michael Wayne Ashford, 55, Helena, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023.

He was born January 26, 1968 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Gerald Ashford, Sr. and Karen (Wachter) Ashford.

Michael married Tammy Embrey on July 14, 1989.

He worked in construction for most of his life.

Michael was a huge Denver Broncos fan and was the home-run champion for all softball teams on which he played.

Family was everything to Michael. He loved spending time with his grandbabies and brothers, and everyone knew help was only a phone call away and Michael would be there.

He was preceded in death by his father; siblings, Matt Ashford and Michelle Ashford Keith; and nephew, Shawn Hunter Ashford.

Survivors include Tammy Ashford; daughters, Laci Ashford (Jake) and Mica Ashford (Shawn Turner); grandchildren, Braylee, Maverick, Remi and Saelyr; mother, Karen Cockriel; siblings, Shawn Ashford, Jon Ashford (Brooke), Josh Ashford (Barbie Amos), and Gerald Ashford, Jr.; sister-in-law, Lisa Berry; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Michael Wayne Ashford 1968 - 2023

Lora, daughter of Donald and Hilda Campbell, born May 13, 1966, in Macks Creek, Missouri, age 56, passed away in Grant City, Missouri on April 7, 2023.

She was a mother to Melissa (Trent) and Kristy, and a grandmother to Abigail, Alexander, Eric and Amanda. She overcame the loss of her hearing at a young age by getting an experimental cochlear implant and heard her children for the first time in 2000.

She beat the odds while living with mitochondrial myopathy because she was a fighter. She was a beautiful, kind person, full of love who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, winning skip-bo, and spoiling her grandbabies.

She enjoyed studying the word of God and trusted her life and soul to Jesus. She loved live music and took her last breath while being serenaded by the love of her life with one of her favorite songs, “Play Me the Waltz of the Angels”.

She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones to be with Jesus.

“Remember me as a daughter, a mother, grandmother and friend. Remember me with smiles and laughs, if remembering me with tears then don’t remember me at all. God bless you all with love, laughs and happiness. With all caring love, Lora Reynolds.”

Lora Marie Reynolds 1966 - 2023

Francis Richard Walker of Eagle Rock, MO entered Heaven surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, AK after a short illness.

Richard was born to Francis and Virginia Walker on August 14, 1937, in Mound City. Known as Shooter to all his family &amp; friends, Richard was always curious about how things worked and what was behind every rock. He graduated from Mound City High School in 1955 and took a job at Moody’s Feed Store and Vest Oil before joining the Army Reserves in 1956.

After basic training at Fort Riley, KS, Richard served as an Armor Communications Specialist and served 3 years in Germany. He returned home to Mound City after being honorably discharged in February 1960.

Richard married the love of his life, Janice (Boyd) on May 10, 1962. Together they raised their family on a farm near Rosendale, MO. Over the course of his lifetime, he worked at Crouch Truck Lines in Elwood, KS; served as a deputy for the Andrew County Sherriff’s office and retired as the Regional Supervisor for the Kansas City office of the Missouri Division of Transportation &amp; Railroad Safety where he served 20 years.

From 1971-1974 Richard served in the Air National Guard as an Avionics Communications Technician for the 139th&nbsp;Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Rosecrans Air Base.

Never one to sit still, Richard worked for Yocum’s Ag Service after retirement before he &amp; Janice moved to their current home on Table Rock Lake in southern Missouri. Here they have enjoyed many years of watching the grandkids learn to water ski, many visits from family &amp; friends, and watching the sunset over the lake.

Richard was proceeded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Walker of Wathena, KS.

He is survived by his wife, Janice; two children, Troy (Connie) Walker of McDonough, GA and Darian (Jeff) Graff of Sigourney, IA. They have seven grandchildren – Grant (Alyssa) Walker, Logan Walker, Devin Walker, Clint (Kory) Wilson, Lainey Graff, Justin Graff &amp; Jessica Graff; and two great-grandchildren, Hallie &amp; Bowen and several nieces &amp; a nephew.

A visitation will be held at Chamberlain Funeral Home in Mound City from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 9. Graveside services with military honors will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Mound City on Monday, April 10, at 11:00 am.

Richard Walker 1937 - 2023

King City, MO: Michael Ray Workman was born on November 22, 1959, at Doc Barnes’ office in King City, MO to Melvin and Patricia (Hunt) Workman. He died April 2, 2023, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS after a 6 year battle with Vexas.

Mike was a happy-go-lucky child who grew into an ornery, hardworking young man. He loved sharing stories of the shenanigans he got into with his friends. Mike was a man of unwavering faith and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Platte City, MO.

Sports were his passion. As a WildKat, he was an All-State football player and lived his life fiercely rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs. Mike coached his children’s little league baseball and basketball teams and with his brother Gary, brought youth football to King City.

On November 18, 1979, he met the love of his life at Missouri Western State College. Less than a month later, they were engaged. They were married on July 12, 1980, and celebrated with Taco Bell drive-thru.

Mike was a hardworking entrepreneur. He got his first job at 12 years old learning how to build fence from Herb Derks. In 1982, he founded his own company Workman Fencing. In 1990, with his brother Gary and other family members, they added Lester Buildings which led to the business that continues today. Throughout the years, he shared his faith and mentored many employees who are still cherished by his family. He farmed hogs, cattle, and most recently dairy goats.

He is preceded in death by his father Melvin Workman of King City.

Mike is survived by his mother, Patricia (Hunt); his wife, Tammy (Wallingford) both of King City; his son Kaleb and daughter-in-law Jéssica (Da Silva) of Platte City; his daughter Madison and companion Max Mohr of King City; his sister and brother-in-law Vicki and Mikey Ausmus of King City; his brother and sister-in-law Gary and Lora of King City; his brother and sister-in-law Ray and Kim, many nephews and nieces, and a host of friends.

King City, MO: Michael Ray Workman was born on November 22, 1959, at Doc Barnes’ office in King City, MO to Melvin and Patricia (Hunt) Workman. He died April 2, 2023, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS after a 6 year battle with Vexas.Mike was a happy-go-lucky child who grew into an ornery, hardworking young man. He loved sharing stories of the shenanigans he got into with his friends. Mike was a man of unwavering faith and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Platte City, MO.Sports were his passion. As a WildKat, he was an All-State football player and lived his life fiercely rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs. Mike coached his children’s little league baseball and basketball teams and with his brother Gary, brought youth football to King City.On November 18, 1979, he met the love of his life at Missouri Western State College. Less than a month later, they were engaged. They were married on July 12, 1980, and celebrated with Taco Bell drive-thru.Mike was a hardworking entrepreneur. He got his first job at 12 years old learning how to build fence from Herb Derks. In 1982, he founded his own company Workman Fencing. In 1990, with his brother Gary and other family members, they added Lester Buildings which led to the business that continues today. Throughout the years, he shared his faith and mentored many employees who are still cherished by his family. He farmed hogs, cattle, and most recently dairy goats.He is preceded in death by his father Melvin Workman of King City.Mike is survived by his mother, Patricia (Hunt); his wife, Tammy (Wallingford) both of King City; his son Kaleb and daughter-in-law Jéssica (Da Silva) of Platte City; his daughter Madison and companion Max Mohr of King City; his sister and brother-in-law Vicki and Mikey Ausmus of King City; his brother and sister-in-law Gary and Lora of King City; his brother and sister-in-law Ray and Kim, many nephews and nieces, and a host of friends.Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8 at Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO. Michael Lee Green, 73, of St. Joseph, MO passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph. He was born August 31, 1949 in St. Joseph, son of Katheryn and Gerald Green. 

He attended Benton High School. Michael married Sandy Brown on October 20, 1972 in St. Joseph. He worked at Seaman, Schuske Metal Works and later Hausman's as a Roofer. He was a member of Roofers Local Union for 32 years. Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. 

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Charles Liechti, and his aunt and uncle who raised him, Eugene and Elsie Bish. 

Survivors include wife, Sandy Green of the home, children, Stacey (Carlos) Brown of Omaha, NE, Missy (Jimmy) McClellan of St. Joseph, Michael (Amy) Green, Jr. of Faucett, MO, Chad (Amanda) Green of Macksburg, IA, sisters, Kay Liechti of Elwood, KS, and Rhonda (Ted) Rogers of Faucett, MO, grandchildren, Brandon (Lauren) Williams, Bryston (Hannah) Williams, Brenna Williams, Lacie Jo McClellan-Fox, Jimmy (Lucely) McClellan, Jr., Jessica (Brandon Rodish) Green, Calin Green, Layni Green, Chett Green, Tatum Green, Landen Green and 14 additional pumpkins in his patch (great-grandchildren).

Darlene D. Campbell, age 97, passed away April 5, 2023 at Carriage Square Care Center, St. Joseph, Missouri. She was born October 9, 1925 in Renwick, Iowa to Lynde and Hazel (Cawood) Hayes.

Darlene grew up in Guilford, MO and married Herbert D. Campbell in 1943. They celebrated 65 years of marriage before he passed away in 2008. She retired from the Methodist Hospital after 18 years and Community Blood Center after 9 years. Darlene loved bowling, playing cards and games, and being with family.

Survivors include a son, Terry D. Campbell (Cheryl), Country Club, MO; daughters, Lynette Campbell, Fort Worth, Texas; Jeannine Randall (Jay), The Colony, Texas.&nbsp; Six grandchildren; Kelly (Brian) Draveling, Blue Springs, MO; Kimberly (Travis) Lawson, Country Club, MO; John (Julie) Hower, Council Grove, KS; Emily (Rex) Gibson, Southlake, TX; Jodi (James) Ogle, Frisco, TX; Jeb Randall, Humble, TX. Dorothy “Dotty” A. Mathers, 78, of North Platte, NE passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Azria Health Centennial Park. Dotty was born on November 12, 1944, at Dr. White’s Hospital in Garnett, KS. She was the sixth of eight children born to Albert and Catherine (Wilper) Hermann.&nbsp; Dotty grew up in rural Westphalia, KS on the family farm. An opinionated and outspoken thorn in the side of her older siblings and especially to her older brother Frank, Dotty could be found drawing and painting in her spare time she had. Dotty enjoyed sewing and was an excellent cook when her mother needed help. Dotty attended elementary school at St Teresa’s Grade School and graduated from Westphalia High School with the class of 1962. A traveler at heart, Dotty worked in many locations between Kansas and California before settling in North Platte, NE to welcome her family. She ran a daycare for children in her home for many years. She was a foster mom to many children alongside her beloved son and daughter. She was also a home health aide for the elderly for several years, before becoming a railway crew driver for Union Pacific Railroad until failing health forced her into retirement. She was always interested in nutrition and in practicing her religious faith. She enjoyed traveling to Garnett with her son to visit family and enjoyed reminiscing about growing up on the farm. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is fondly remembered by her son, Dwane Mathers of North Platte; daughter, Deanna Mathers of North Platte; granddaughter, Kayla Mathers; 4 great- grandchildren; sisters, Mary David of St. Paul, KS and Sr. Alberta Hermann OSB of Atchinson, KS; brothers, Richard and Clarence Hermann both of Garnett, KS; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Catherine Hermann, and brothers, Al, Frank, and Harold Hermann.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in North Platte. Private family graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at St. Teresa Cemetery in Westphalia, KS. Randall Brooke Peregrine was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on November 22, 1956, to Vera and Dale Peregrine. He graduated from Central High School in St. Joseph in 1974.

He was married to Peggy Anderson and they were blessed with one son, James, born in 1993.

Randall enjoyed playing baseball, along with other sports. He exemplified hard work through his time at Food Barn, Food4Less, Apple Market, and Sara Lee Bread. He was always smiling at work and loved to say hello and catch up with regular customers when they stopped in for their shopping. He would always update his son, James, on which customers he saw and their life happenings.

Randall’s love for sports was evident to those around him, he was often wearing a favorite team’s shirt and hat and was ready to share the latest sports news and scores.

Randall passed away on April 4, 2023, and is survived by his mother, Vera; sisters, Lori and Jan; brother, Larry; son, James; and daughter-in-law, Kayla.

Arward "Alex" Alexander, 85, of St. Joseph, passed away April 3,&nbsp; 2022.&nbsp; Arward was born September 6, 1937 in Mount Moriah, MO to Alva and Bonnie (Bane) Alexander.

He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and then the Army National Guard during the Vietnam Era.&nbsp;

He married Janet Rose in October of 1984, and together they owned and operated Alexander's Blind and Drapery Shop.

Survivors include his wife Janet; sons Don Alexander (Sharon) of Parrish, FL, David Alexander (Megan) of Oak Grove, MO, Christopher Alexander of St. Joseph; two grandsons David Alexander, Jr. and Darian; brothers James Alexander and Michael Alexander; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers Raymond and Dwight and two sisters Katherine and Mary.

Arward enjoyed golf, the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, bowling and loved spending time with his grandsons.

Rikki L. Reynolds, a life-long resident of St. Joseph, MO, died unexpectedly on April 2, 2023, while in her home.

Rikki is survived by her siblings, Jim Foster and Misti Miller; her son, Bruce Roach and his wife, Katie, and their children, Samuel and Nicholas; by her daughter, Amanda Potts and her wife, Crystal, and their children, Kaylin, Secelie, Alea, Xander, Melanie, Destiny and Khloei, and their grand-daughter, Echo; and by her daughter, Karysta Foster, and her children, Xavier, Branden, Aiden, and Deven. And was predeceased by her mother, Vickie Nocks.

Rikki was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on July 29th to Vickie Nocks and Jimmy G. Foster the 3rd. Her life was devoted to her children, of which she had in succession, beginning August 18th, 1990, then November 20th, 1991, and finishing December 28th, 1992, respectively. And when her children began having children, her devotion spread to her grandchildren.

Rikki’s greatest hobby, outside of spending time with her family, was quilting. She often put together quilts for her family and left many projects incomplete with her unexpected passing. She spoke often of the history of quilting that was passed down through the generations of her family and was always on the lookout for the perfect patches. She believed the practice of quilting helped keep her mind and hands active.

The family wishes to keep their final moments with Rikki private.

Georgia Walberg Moore, 91, of Gower, Missouri, met her Savior face-to- face on Palm Sunday, April 2, 2023.&nbsp;

Georgia was born July 16, 1931 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, to George and Emaline Walberg, the first of four daughters. Despite growing up during the Depression, Georgia spent a relatively carefree childhood in Lee’s Summit where she was known for her jubilant personality, not being able to keep a secret, and her frequent horseback rides from downtown Lee’s Summit to Longview Farm.&nbsp;

Georgia graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 1949 and from Southwest Baptist College in 1951. She met her love, S.E. Moore, while both were attending school at SWBC in Bolivar, Missouri. They were married in 1951 and shared their lives together for 63 years before he died in 2014. Georgia’s adult life revolved around raising her family of four children, and the various activities associated with being a pastor’s wife. His profession took them to many different places in the Midwest in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, and Iowa. After her children left the nest, Georgia worked as secretary for the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce, as well as several other jobs throughout the years.

Georgia is remembered as one who brought light and laughter to nearly every situation, and was just a fun person to be around. She loved engaging people and hearing their stories. It was said if she got on an elevator, she would make at least one new friend before the elevator stopped.

In 2013, S.E. and Georgia moved in with their son John and his wife Dee in Edgerton, Missouri, where they had their own apartment. This was a perfect set-up, and Georgia was grateful to be living with family after she was widowed. She thrived there for eight years, where she enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, and actively tending Monarch butterflies. In addition to her love of nature, Georgia was a musician who played the piano and loved singing. In her eighties, she took up the ukulele, forming a band named Ukulele Fire. Her family spent much time there with her, and would like to express their appreciation for the gentle and loving care provided by the staff, as well as the nursing care given to her by Freudenthal Hospice.

Georgia was reunited in Heaven with her husband, her parents, and two sisters, Barbara Langsford and Diane Sperber.&nbsp;

She will be forever loved and missed by her four children, Pam Barreth, Independence; Dennis (Teckla) Moore, Springfield; John (Dee) Moore, Edgerton, MO, and Ron (Jenny) Moore, St. Joseph; twelve grandchildren, Ben (Meredith) Barreth, Jake (Melody) Barreth, Becky (Jeff) Lee, John Barreth, Aaron (Shanna) Moore, Tiffany (Lee) Aronson, Alex Moore, Cindy Fulk, Caleb (Megan) Moore, Joanna (Anthony) Hays, Gracie (Dayton) Strong, and Sam Moore; 22 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jo Lynn Draper, Lee’s Summit. Georgia also leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends of all ages whom she considered family.

Georgia Walberg Moore, 91, of Gower, Missouri, met her Savior face-to- face on Palm Sunday, April 2, 2023.&nbsp;Georgia was born July 16, 1931 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, to George and Emaline Walberg, the first of four daughters. Despite growing up during the Depression, Georgia spent a relatively carefree childhood in Lee’s Summit where she was known for her jubilant personality, not being able to keep a secret, and her frequent horseback rides from downtown Lee’s Summit to Longview Farm.&nbsp;Georgia graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 1949 and from Southwest Baptist College in 1951. She met her love, S.E. Moore, while both were attending school at SWBC in Bolivar, Missouri. They were married in 1951 and shared their lives together for 63 years before he died in 2014. Georgia’s adult life revolved around raising her family of four children, and the various activities associated with being a pastor’s wife. His profession took them to many different places in the Midwest in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, and Iowa. After her children left the nest, Georgia worked as secretary for the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce, as well as several other jobs throughout the years.Georgia is remembered as one who brought light and laughter to nearly every situation, and was just a fun person to be around. She loved engaging people and hearing their stories. It was said if she got on an elevator, she would make at least one new friend before the elevator stopped.In 2013, S.E. and Georgia moved in with their son John and his wife Dee in Edgerton, Missouri, where they had their own apartment. This was a perfect set-up, and Georgia was grateful to be living with family after she was widowed. She thrived there for eight years, where she enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, and actively tending Monarch butterflies. In addition to her love of nature, Georgia was a musician who played the piano and loved singing. In her eighties, she took up the ukulele, forming a band named Ukulele Fire. Lloyd Eugene Wright, 91, of Smithville, MO passed away April 4, 2023.

He was born on May 10, 1931 to Charles Raymond and Mary (Garrett) Wright in Loveland, CO. Lloyd graduated from Graham High School in Graham, MO.

On July 23, 1952, he was united in marriage to Gladys Dale Tompkins in Maryville, MO. After their marriage they lived in Barnard until 1955 when they moved to the Kansas City area. In 1989, they moved to rural Smithville where they made their home. Gladys passed away on March 20, 1999. Lloyd married Margaret Ann (Jordan) Atkinson on June 20, 2006. They made their home in rural Smithville, MO.

Lloyd was a cat skinner, truck driver and farmer. He retired from the Teamsters Local Union #41, and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #101. Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and most all visiting with family and friends.&nbsp;

He was a member of the Ridgely Christian Church where he served as a deacon and usher.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Wright; his wife Gladys Wright; brothers and sisters Helen Duff, Roy Wright, Hazel Thomas, and Robert Garrett; granddaughter Olivia Wright; and grandson Christopher Wright; daughter-in-law Donna Wright.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Wright; four sons Lloyd J. and wife Kathy, Kenneth Wright, Ralph Wright and wife Tisa and David Wright and wife Candace; grandchildren Donnie, Erik, Jody, Erin, Kyle, Adam, Miranda, Trent and Janet; eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.&nbsp;

Rhonda Jean Alexandria, 67, of Plattsburg, MO passed away April 3, 2023.

She was born on April 4, 1955, to Richard and Mary Frances (Clark) Graham in Plattsburg, MO where she grew up and graduated from Plattsburg High School.

Rhonda was united in marriage to Ronald W. Alexandria. They lived in several areas in Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska until settling in Plattsburg where they made their home and Rhonda cared for her mother.&nbsp;

Rhonda was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Plattsburg. Rhonda’s passion in life was her nieces and nephews. She was a very giving person, to know her was to love her. Most of all, Rhonda loved being with her friends and family.&nbsp;

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Mary Graham; and brother Gary Graham.

Rhonda is survived by her husband Ron Alexandria; brother Larry Graham and wife Anna; sister-in-law Lucia Graham; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.&nbsp;

Diana (Diane) Lynn McIntosh, 63, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away on April 1, 2023, surrounded by her family and close friends. Diane was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on May 2nd, 1959 to Roscoe and Norma Jean McIntosh.

Diane was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by the many lives she touched and was taken home too soon.

Diane was a mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. In her spare time she enjoyed playing Bingo in White Cloud, KS, pressing the button on the Bengal Treasures Slot Machine at Frontier Casino, drinking fresh McDonalds coffee, winning Yahtzee, and sitting on her front porch.

Diane was a friend, a confidant, pure entertainment to those close to her and a helping hand to all who needed it. She would always give you her undivided attention, her honest opinion about anything and everything, and would always tell you like it is no matter what.

Diane is survived by Billy McIntosh (Xiomara Cruz), Brian McIntosh (Breanna Bland), Debbie Steiner (Steve), John McIntosh (Patty), Nick McIntosh, Cody McIntosh, Melissa Ellis (Travis), Steven Steiner Jr (Lindsey), Brett Steiner (Ella), Josh Perks (Jenny), Shawn Perks (Mickey), Katie McIntosh, Matthew McIntosh, Jackson McIntosh, and Weston McIntosh along with countless other aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren, other assorted family and many caring friends.

&nbsp;Charles W. "Bill" Roberts, Jr., 85, of rural St. Joseph passed away peacefully around his family on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. He was born March 29, 1938 in St. Joseph, son of Georgia (Stout) and Charles Roberts.

 Bill owned and operated Robert's Sandblasting for over 30 years. He was a member of the Laborer's Union. He loved tinkering with cars and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. 

Charles was preceded in death by wife, Judy Ann Roberts, his parents, sons, Thomas Roberts and Christopher Roberts and sister, Janet Meadow. 

Survivors include children, Charles (Cheryl) Roberts III, of De Kalb, MO, Delia (Glenn) Hughes of Oregon, MO, and Charlene Roberts of St. Joseph, sister, Norma (Gerald) Ott of Cosby, MO and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews,
