Nathen Scott Taylor Sr. 42, of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away Sunday April 2, 2023 in Saint Joseph, Mo. He was born July 24, 1980 in St. Joseph, Missouri son of Patricia &amp; Randy Taylor. 

Nathen was preceded in death by his father, Randy Dewayne Taylor. 

Survivors include: mother, Patricia (Mickey) Harrison, son, Nathen Taylor Jr., aunt, Tina (Amy) Taylor of Saint Joseph, MO, brothers, Mickey (Alexis) Harrison Jr., and Michael Harrison, step sister, Nicole McKinney, and his companion, Kimberly Groneweg.

 The family will receive friends from 1- 2:00 pm on Friday with funeral services starting at 2:00 pm Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. He will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.

Frances June Herbert was born at home on December 29, 1929 in Maitland, Missouri, the daughter of Leonard D. and Esther L. (Wehrli) Huntsman.

Frances graduated from New Point High School in 1947, where she had a reputation for being a spiker on the volleyball team. She then attended Northwest Missouri State College until her marriage to PM Herbert on December 17, 1949. She and PM became the parents of four children.

After her marriage, Frances spent the majority of her life being a farm wife and mother. She enjoyed attending activities of her children and grandchildren, as well as gardening and yard work. She held various jobs in the community.

She attended church at New Point Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school and played the piano. Due to the closure of the New Point church, she became an active member of the Woodville Presbyterian Church.

Frances passed away peacefully on April 3, 2023, surrounded by her family. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Paul Max “P.M.”; sisters, Doris Meyer and Linda Painter; daughter, Karen Hinkle; son-in-law, Bill Slusher; and grandson, Adam Slusher.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Barbara Herbert of Pittsburg, Kansas; daughter and son-in-law, Ramona and Chuck McComb of Maryville, Missouri; and daughter Reva Slusher of New Point, Missouri; sister, Charlotte Sherod of Camp Verde, Arizona; son-in-law, John Hinkle of St. Joseph, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, Logan Herbert, Larisa Morris, Lisa Allen, Jennifer Dean, Jason McComb, Joshua McComb, Kayla Ripley, Brent Ripley, Darcie Hinkle, Kacie Wood, and Sarah Slusher; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the New Point Christian Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and services to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at New Point Cemetery.

Rusty Dewey Berry, 64, passed away at his home in Weston Monday, April 3, 2023. Rusty was born July 30, 1958 in Denver, CO, and was a lifelong resident of Weston.

 He was a 1976 graduate of the West Platte R-II High School; and later married his high school sweetheart and mother of his children, Karel, on June 19, 1977. 

Rusty began working for Hay’s Plumbing of Atchison, KS; later working for the new Iatan Powerplant, before becoming an Apprentice for J.E. Dunn Construction. Afterwards, Rusty worked as a car salesman for Rusty Eck Ford in Leavenworth, KS; finally working for J.E. Dunn Construction as a concrete foundation former, &amp; member of the Labor Union #264; until retiring around 1994. Rusty was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, boating, hunting and fishing. 

He loved sailing and was a member of the San Diego Yacht Club. He also enjoyed water skiing and riding motorcycles; and was especially fond of his family &amp; friend’s annual boating and camping trips to Clinton Lake. Rusty was a member of the Salem Christian Church of Weston. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Owen “Bill” and Una Fern (Peel) Berry; his brother Robbie; and sisters Rhonda Calvert, and Gillian Berry. 

Rusty is survived by his children Jamie Lancaster, Janis Zoellers, and Jody (Emily) Berry; his grandchildren Brianna and Jillian Lancaster, Thomas Zoellers, and Theodore Berry; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 7, 2023 at Vaughn Funeral Home in Weston; followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service. Interment will follow at the Graceland Cemetery in Weston.

Angela “Angie” Marie Riggs, 55, passed peacefully on April 3, 2023. She was born on March 10th, 1968 in Albany, MO to Gene and Lois Gaiser.

Angie was a graduate from Maysville High School. After high school on August 17th, 1991 she married William Riggs and soon after welcomed her two sons. She spent most of her life in Maysville and became very active in the wrestling community where she enjoyed watching her boys compete.

Angie loved taking trips, big or small; spending time with her family; weekends at the River Market with Willie; summer nights listening to live music, especially the oldies, and a good book by the river. She will always be remembered for her laughter and voice that could fill a room, sense of humor and warm hugs.

She is proceeded in death by her parents: Gene and Lois Gaiser and niece Kimberly Kinne.

Survivors include her husband William Riggs of the home; sons Jacob (Elizabeth) Riggs of Kansas City, Joshua (Cheyenne) Riggs of Kansas City; brothers Roger (Janice) Gaiser of Maysville, Jerry (Jill) Gaiser of St. Joseph, and sister Debbie Boyer of Palm Bay, Florida, 10 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews

She was born on September 11, 1932, to William Cecil “Spike” and Sylvia (Mackley) Pollock in Bethany, MO. Rose grew up in Brooklyn, MO and graduated from Eagleville High School.

Rose retired from Kmart in St. Joseph after several years. She enjoyed playing cards and shopping with her sister-in-law Barb and loved living at the lake and fishing. Most of all, Rose loved being with her family especially her grandchildren and her dog Sputnic.

She was preceded in death by her parents Spike and Sylvia Pollock; and her great-granddaughter Mckinley Rose.

Rose is survived by her son Mike Krueger and wife Robin; grandchildren Brandon Krueger and Stephanie Krueger; great-grandchildren Lexy and Maverick; great-great-granddaughter Oaklynn; other relatives and many friends.

Carma Garvin, 89, formerly of St. Joseph, died April 2, 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born in Lebenon, MO, to the late Ellis "Curly" and Frances Johnson. 

Carma led a varied and exciting life which she shared with Dan Garvin, Sr. for nearly 60 years. Together they operated a successful insurance agency in the Southside of St. Joseph. They were instrumental is instituting the Southside Fall Festival which continues today. 

Carma is survived by two sons, Dan and wife LuAnne Garvin, and Ed Garvin, three grandchildren, Claire, Patrick and wife Aubrey, and Ed Jr. and wife Kayla, four great grandchildren: Collin, Patrick, Kenneth, and Carma, brother, Bob Johnson and wife Sharon, Raytown, MO., and a sister, Martha Clegg of Florida. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Carma will be cremated under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home, there are no scheduled services at this time.

Thomas John Salisbury, 69, Amazonia, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

He was born July 13, 1953, to John Thomas and Grace Eleanor (Camp) Salisbury in Hattenfield Township, New Jersey.

He was united in marriage to Sandee Lee Warnick in 1993.

Thomas worked as a corrections officer for Western Reception Diagnostic Correctional Center for nineteen years.

Survivors include his wife, Sandee, and stepson, Zechariah C. Hill.

George B. Sittenauer, 87, Topeka, Kansas, died Saturday, April 1, 2023, after a lengthy and fierce battle with cancer. 
 George was born September 1, 1935, in Atchison, Kansas, to Matt and 
Bettie Sittenauer. He graduated from Maur Hill Prep School in 1954. 
George then attended trade school in K.C, MO. He was the Parts Manager 
at Vic Yarrington Oldsmobile for 39 years. All of his life, George was a
 hard worker and volunteered countless hours at the V.A. Hospital in 
Topeka, Let’s Help and his church. George married JoAnn Miller
 on September 30, 1961, at St. Benedict’s Church in Bendena, Kansas. 
They celebrated over 61 years of marriage. Together they have three 
sons, Curt (Jill), Bob (Susan), and Brett, all of Topeka. They have five
 grandchildren, Jake (Sara), Olathe KS, Will (Taylor), Derby KS, 
Jackson, Anacortes, WA, Katherine, Lawrence KS; and Joe, Wichita KS. In 
addition, they have five great-grandchildren, Isaac (deceased), Claire, 
Camryn, Caroline, and Whit. George is also survived by sisters, Bettie 
(Bob) Albers, Mary Kay Harris, Judy (Jim) Curtis; and in-laws, Teresa 
Sittenauer, Gene (Shirley) Miller, Georgia Hampton, Ray (Theresa) 
Miller, Alveria Bartkoski, Alfred (Pat) Miller, Don Miller; and 72 
nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his parents; 
mother and father-in-law, Joe and Josephine Miller; his siblings, 
Charlie (Mary), Gene (Darlene), Ken, Angela (Gene) Hegarty; and in-laws,
 Genevieve (Ora) Mehan, Henrietta (Del) Fortney, Esther (Johnny) Sexton,
 Al Bartkoski, Donna Miller, and Paul Harris. All services 
will be at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, in Topeka. 
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 14, at the Church. The 
Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15, followed by Mass of
 Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be private in
 Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to

Elizabeth “Betty” Hoppe, 86, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023.

She was born August 18, 1936 to Herbert and Esther (Prigge) Luehmann in Lewiston, Minnesota.

Betty married Lyle A. Hoppe on August 5, 1962.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was also in the choir and in the LWML group. She volunteered for over 10 years at the Senior center in Savannah, Missouri.

Betty taught in elementary schools for 10 years. She later sold Tupperware for many years and became a distributor in 1980 in St. Joseph, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Esther Luehmann; brothers, Gene, Elmer, and Lloyd Luehmann.

Survivors include her husband, Lyle Hoppe; sons, Brian (Mary), Craig (Holly), and Jonathan (Susan); 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brothers, Pastor Alfred Luehmann (Laura) and Howard Luehmann (Vickie); numerous nieces and nephews.

Pastor Evelyn June Kelley 79 of Cameron Missouri was called home to Glory Wednesday March 29, 2023. Born on July 14, 1943, in Cameron Missouri to Joshua and Serena (Tapp) Jackson. She attended school in Cameron and was a member of the Plattsburg Bowling league. She was the Pastor and founder of the Christ Shepherd Church in Cameron Missouri.

She married Preston Lee Kelley Sr. he preceded her in death on October 8, 2014. Also preceding her in death are her parents, daughter Penny Kelley, grandson Nicholas Hubbard; Brothers George, Herbert, Arnold, and Francis Jackson; sisters Edna Graham and Betty Jackson.&nbsp;

Survivors include her children Sonya K. Davis of Omaha NE; Elizabeth A. Bailey of Independence MO; Preston Lee Kelley Jr., of Independence MO; Stephanie D. Briscoe of Houston Texas. Her brother Larry Jackson of Cameron MO; 28 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren.&nbsp;

Sarah Sue English, 70, died peacefully Friday March 31, 2023, at home surrounded by family.

Sarah was born Oct. 15, 1952, in Kansas City, KS to Rita H. English and William J. English and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School, 1970. She earned a BS in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. She subsequently obtained an MS degree in Environmental City Planning from Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS.

Sarah was a veteran serving her country in the US Coast Guard from March 1975 to December 1979 as a Telephone Technician (E5). She was in the second class of women to be enlisted into the US Coast Guard. She was stationed in New York City, NY, New Orleans, LA, and Little Rock, AR.

Sarah married Brett Bodily on Sept 1, 1988, in Manhattan, KS. During their marriage she worked with her husband as a project manager at their industrial painting company executing large scale projects. 

Her husband preceded her in death in 2006. Sarah is also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Paula L. Ewing. After her husband’s death she worked as a Project Analyst for the State of Texas Facilities Commission, Austin, TX.

Survivors include brothers, John English (Linda English) Shawnee, KS, J. Ted English, Stillwell, KS, sisters Veronica English (Doran Ward), Helena, MT, Cecilia (Chuck) Miller, Purdy, MO, Rita Bassett, Dickson, TN, M. Bernadette (Alan) Anglyn, Edgerton, KS and Jessie M. English, Cambridge, MA, and 29 nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Sarah lived in Austin, Texas from 2007-2019 where she worked as a Transformational Life Coach and was an integral member of the Austin metaphysical community. She continued this work when she moved to Taos, NM in 2019. With this community she worked on her life-mission to help people be true to themselves. Sarah was passionate about nature and animals, particularly her well-loved dogs. In her last years she lived in Taos, NM (2019-2022) where she enjoyed and shared photographs of the stunning Taos sunrises and sunsets. Sarah’s vivacious wit, charm, and laughter will be especially missed by her family and friends.

Georgia Caorl Witkowski 1945 - 2023

Arlance G.T. Clark, a loving and faith-filled man, entered into eternal rest on April 2, 2023, at the age of 86. He was born on August 5, 1936, in Saint Joseph, MO, and passed away in the same city surrounded by his loving family. Arlance lived a life defined by his unwavering commitment to his faith, his family, and his community.

Arlance was blessed with a large and loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years and 8 months, Claudine Clark; his children, Vicki Grooms, Tommy Clark, Tasha Morrow, and Ridge Clark; 13 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who instilled in his family the importance of faith, love, and generosity.

Arlance was a proud veteran of the Air National Guard, having served his country with honor and distinction. After his time in the service, he embarked on a successful career as a truck driver for the Santa Fe Railroad. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to become a business owner of AC Swimming Pools, an endeavor in which he thrived for 42 years. His strong work ethic and determination were admired by all who knew him.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Arlance was an active member of his community. He was a devout man of God who served as a pastor for many years, sharing the Gospel and ministering to his congregation of Victory Tabernacle Church with love and wisdom. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he lived out the words of the Apostle Paul, who wrote, "And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13).

Arlance's love extended beyond his family and his church; he was a generous man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He believed in the power of community and the importance of supporting one another in times of hardship and joy alike. As a respected member of his community, Arlance's impact will be felt for generations to come.

Those who knew Arlance were struck by his unwavering devotion to his faith, his family, and his work. He was a loving father, husband, and grandfather who always put the needs of his loved ones first. His faith-filled life was a testament to the power of God's love and grace, and his generosity was a shining example of how we are called to live our lives in service to others.

Arlance Clark 1936 - 2023

Jon D. Pitluck, 79, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, surrounded by family.

He was born February 22, 1944 to Louis B and Nadene (Naken) Pitluck in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Jon graduated from Central High School and attended Parsons College in Fairfield, IA. After college, he settled in Springfield, IL where he served in the Army Reserves. His unit was called up to the Chicago riots after the assassination of MLK. He later managed a clothing store in Ft. Wayne, IN before returning to St. Joseph in 1970.

He married Anita Yvonnne Conaway on January 11, 1986.

He was vice president at Stevens Hat Company, owner of Vic’s Corn Popper franchise, a real estate broker and substitute schoolteacher.

Jon enjoyed playing cards, eating BBQ, and trips to Las Vegas with Anita. He was a devoted father, coaching little league, planning family excursions, and devising intricate, Christmas scavenger hunts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis B and Nadene Pitluck.

Survivors include his wife, Anita Pitluck; children, Eric Pitluck (Marnie) and Jodi Kanatzar (Steve); stepdaughter, Stacey Conaway; grandchildren, Natalie Pitluck, Abbey Chauvin, and Aidan Conaway; brother, Steven Pitluck (Jeannie); extended family and friends.

Pitluck, 79, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, surrounded by family.He was born February 22, 1944 to Louis B and Nadene (Naken) Pitluck in St. Joseph, Missouri.Jon graduated from Central High School and attended Parsons College in Fairfield, IA. After college, he settled in Springfield, IL where he served in the Army Reserves. His unit was called up to the Chicago riots after the assassination of MLK. He later managed a clothing store in Ft. Wayne, IN before returning to St. Joseph in 1970.He married Anita Yvonnne Conaway on January 11, 1986.He was vice president at Stevens Hat Company, owner of Vic’s Corn Popper franchise, a real estate broker and substitute schoolteacher.Jon enjoyed playing cards, eating BBQ, and trips to Las Vegas with Anita. He was a devoted father, coaching little league, planning family excursions, and devising intricate, Christmas scavenger hunts.He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis B and Nadene Pitluck.Survivors include his wife, Anita Pitluck; children, Eric Pitluck (Marnie) and Jodi Kanatzar (Steve); stepdaughter, Stacey Conaway; grandchildren, Natalie Pitluck, Abbey Chauvin, and Aidan Conaway; brother, Steven Pitluck (Jeannie); extended family and friends.Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Grace Roberta (Dickhudt) Polley entered eternal life with the Lord on March 31, 2023. She was born on March 1, 1927 to Walter Ludwig and Alma Marie (Thoele) Dickhudt. Grace grew up in St. Paul, MN and attended school at St. Stephanus Lutheran School and Washington High School. After she graduated from high school, she worked at Great Northern Railroad in St. Paul as a Scheduling Clerk.&nbsp;&nbsp;

One story that her younger sister Marion remembers from that time: Grace would get up early to go to work and return home in the evening several hours after school was out for the day. This provided Marion the opportunity to “borrow” some of Grace’s clothing. This scheme worked out very well, until one day Grace noticed that the scent in one of her scarves was not her perfume. The jig was up!&nbsp;&nbsp;

It was during this time that Grace met her future husband, Victor, while he was attending college in St. Paul. Grace and Victor were married in February 1950 and settled in Hunter, KS after Victor completed his seminary studies. They were blessed with two boys while serving there, Walter William and David Jon. The growing family moved to Hays, KS where two more children were added, James Robert and Kristine Lynda. From there, the family moved to Steger, IL and finally in 1969 returned to Kansas when her family moved to Leavenworth.&nbsp;

Throughout these years, Grace was active in church and was a member of Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, Ladies Aid, and Altar Guild. She participated in her children’s lives as a Homeroom Mother and as an active member in the various Parent Teacher Leagues.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Once her children were older, Grace worked at several Leavenworth businesses. She loved to meet new people and to chat with them. Her jobs allowed this passion to blossom. She was a clerk at One Hour Martinizing and later worked at Russell Pharmacy and Treasury Drugs.&nbsp;&nbsp;

After her retirement, Grace volunteered at The Carousel, the Assistance Center, and Trinity House, her special passion. This volunteer work provided many opportunities for Grace to encounter interesting people and talk with them. It also gave her the opportunity to assist others and be a blessing to them.&nbsp;

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rev. Victor Marvin, brothers Robert Walter and Wallace Leonard, and sister Dorothy Alma (Stach). She is survived by brothers Herbert Charles and his wife&nbsp;LaVerne, Robert John and his wife Doris, and sister Marion Lois (Hastings); her children Walter WIlliam and his wife Virginia, David Jon and his partner Bruce Cain, James Robert and his wife Gabrielle Elizabeth, and Kristine Lynda (Thomas) and her husband Dale.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Grace was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other friends and family that loved her dearly. Her earnest desire was that everyone would hear about and share the love of the Lord Jesus Christ, accept His gift of salvation, and live together with Him in eternity.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The family would like to thank the loving staff of ANEW Health Care, Easton, and St.Luke’s Hospice, who looked after and cared for Grace as her health deteriorated. We are indebted to you for your love and kindness.&nbsp;&nbsp;

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Trinity House, 2101 10th Avenue, Leavenworth, KS 66048.&nbsp;

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2101 10th Ave, Leavenworth, KS on Monday, April 10 at 4 to 6 pm and again on Tuesday morning at 9:00 am. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Mount Muncie Cemetery.

After a courageous battle, Thomas “Jasen” Ritchel, 53, passed away March 29th, 2023 at home, surrounded by his family.&nbsp;

He was born May 23rd, 1969 in Independence, MO to John Ritchel and Sharon Conyers Ritchel. Jasen joined the Army in 1987, married his high school sweetheart the same year, and then in 1990, he fought for our country in the Gulf War, which ultimately took his life 36 years later. His honors include: Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, SouthWest Asia Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, Army Commendation Medal, and Army Achievement Medal. Following discharge, he established his family and later his business, Ritchel Automotive, with his brother in Independence, MO. Later in life, he pursued industrial maintenance and eventually became an independent contractor.&nbsp;

As a young man, Jasen was involved in Boy Scouts, where his love of the outdoors started. If he wasn’t outside exploring, he was getting into mischief with his two brothers, which led to great stories when he became an adult. Jasen had a sweet tooth and a sharp mind. He carried around a wealth of knowledge, leading to a variety of projects. If you knew Jasen, you knew he could fix anything. Jasen was a lover of all kinds of music and would exhaust a song before moving on to another one. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends when he could catch a break from work.

In the end, his cup was overflowing because of the amazing opportunities he was given throughout his life with his children, grandchildren, wife, and brothers. In his final moments here with us, he taught us to accept the realities of life, and to find peace with the present, no matter where you are.&nbsp;

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother, Sharon Conyers Ritchel.&nbsp;

He is survived by his long-time wife, Sherri Ritchel, his oldest son, Clinton Ritchel (Madelyn Ritchel), his daughter, Kassidy Chuning (Austin Chuning), and his youngest son, Jake Ritchel; his three grandsons, Luke Ritchel, Roy Chuning, and Paul Chuning; his father, John Ritchel, and two older brothers Ryan Ritchel (Jodie Ritchel), and Rolly Ritchel (Laura Ritchel), and many nieces and nephews.&nbsp;

Celebration of Life will be held at Robert S. “Bob” Bryan Community Center (Dearborn Community Center) located at 202 N. Commercial anytime from 2 p.m.- 6 p.m on Sunday, April 16th.&nbsp;

Private burial will be held at Higginsville Veterans Cemetery.

Thomas "Jasen" Ritchel 1969 - 2023

Dylan Lee Stiffler, age 37, of Linn Valley Lake, Kansas, passed away on March 30, 2023, at his mother’s home in Rushville, MO. He was born on June 21, 1985, in Upland, CA, to Marc and Judy (Bewley) Stiffler. He moved to Atchison, KS, in 1994, and attended schools in Atchison. He furthered his studies at EACC and LSU.

He was a very hard worker and was formerly employed with Fouch Brothers Construction and McCambridge Brothers Construction in Lee’s Summit, MO, as a carpenter and framer. He loved being creative and building anything that came to mind. His favorite things to do were spending time with his family and children; he loved taking them on adventures, doing anything outside, camping, hiking and gardening. When he couldn’t be outside, he enjoyed movies and video games.

He and Heather Renee Jackson have spent over eight years together and were recently married on March 12, 2023, in Rushville, MO. He is also survived by his daughter, Elianna; son, Elijah; step sons, Clay and Allen; his mother, Judy (Tim Servaes); sisters, Stevimarie (Haven) Moses, Taylor (Mike) Hinson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Marc Stiffler and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Dylan’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, April 6, 2023, beginning with a visitation from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Champ officiating. He will be laid to rest at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Rushville. Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Gary Wayne Hatfield Jr. 49, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 in St. Joseph. He was born March 15, 1974 in St. Joseph, MO. 

 He worked at Osh's Construction, and loved junking and working with concrete. 

He is survived by parents: Patricia Hatfield and Gary Hatfield, son, Gary Hatfield, III, brother, Shawn Hatfield, sisters, Crystal (Matt) Michel, Jena Silkwood, Tosha Cox, and Amanda Cannon, granddaughter, Joslynn Hatfield, and grandson, Cyrus Hatfield. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home, Graveside Services 2:30 pm Wednesday at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
