Patricia "Pat" Ann Evans 96, of St. Joseph, MO passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024 in St. Joseph, MO. health care center. She was born August 23, 1927 in El Dorado, KS, daughter of the late Flora and Andrew Lehr.
Patricia graduated from El Dorado High School class of 1948 and married Rolland Evans on February 6, 1948 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Eldorado, KS. She worked as a certified dental assistant. Patricia was a member of the St. James Catholic Church, and the St. James Altar Society, and a former member of St. John the Evangelist in Eldorado, KS.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rolland, her parents, brothers, Richard and William Lehr, sisters, Mary E. Eaton, Ruth Smith, and Judy Badwey.
Survivors include daughter, Connie (Chris) Sandberg of St. Joseph, MO, sons, Gregory (Mary ) Evans, Las Vegas, NV, and Will (Lisa) Evans of Batavia, IL, 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, a sister Joan Lewis, and a brother Jim (Eleanor) Lehr.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 10:00 am at the St. James Catholic Church, Father Joseph Totton Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm, Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Walnut Valley Memorial Park. Memorials are requested to the St. James Catholic Church.
