Teresa peacefully went to be with her parents and brothers while surrounded by family and friends on Monday, December 4th, 2023. She was born on October 12th, 1956, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Kensel and Frankie Miller. She was one of six children.

Teresa began her journey as the world’s greatest mother on December 29th, 1973, when Darrick Shane Inscho was born. Following Darrick were Jeremy Duane, born on April 20th, 1977, and Tabitha Michelle, born on August 9th, 1982. On June 1st, 1996, she married Rodney McCray of Agency, Missouri, and was married to him until death did they part. She became stepmom to Taylor and Ryan McCray whom she loved as her own. Through the years she gained 2 daughters-in-law, Carmen whom is married to Darrick, and Lacy whom is married to Jeremy, and 1 son-in-law, Brock whom is married to Tabitha. She loved each of them just as much as she loved her own. She truly had a special bond with each one of them. She had 5 grandchildren (Dawson, Diamond, Jacob, Dominic and Payton) and 1 great-granddaughter, Paisley Anne and several grand-fur babies.

Teresa truly believed her kids and grandkids could do anything they set their hearts to and she was their biggest fan, oftentimes being heard as the loudest fan at her kids’ and grandkids’ sporting events. She will without a doubt be remembered as a beautiful soul with a beautiful voice. She sang in numerous settings in multiple churches and venues across the Midwest, her favorite being Darcee’s big dance recitals at the Civic Arena.

Teresa loved everybody she came into contact with, especially the friends of her children and grandchildren. Her house was always open and food was always being served. If you were hungry at Teresa’s, that was your own fault.

Christmas time was definitely her favorite time of year. She watched Hallmark Christmas movies everyday, starting in October, and she could be heard singing along to almost every Christmas song playing on the radio. Her house was always decorated the weekend following Thanksgiving and was always so warm and festive. One of her favorite traditions was getting together with the girls and baking Christmas cookies.

Teresa had more friends than a person can count and she loved to travel. She always greeted you with a smile, a hug and a “How are you?”. She will be missed by all of her family and friends and this Christmas time just won’t be the same without her.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Kensel Hughe and Frankie June Miller, and her brothers, Danny and Lonnie. William M. Schreiber, Jr.,73, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri.

Bill was born February 4, 1950 in St. Joseph, Missouri to William M. Schreiber, Sr. and Margaret Beaty Schreiber. He was a graduate of Central High School, St. Joseph, Class of 1968.

Bill attended the University of Missouri, completing his bachelor’s degree at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. He had several careers beginning with the family business, Schreiber Mills, followed by employment as a stockbroker for Merrill Lynch, and lastly owning/operating Pro Marq Graphics, a screen printed sports apparel company.

Bill loved playing golf, cards and watching sports especially Mizzou and he loved his dogs and Britt’s too.

Family was very important to Bill and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Karen Baker of San Mateo, CA.

He was born on July 14, 1988, to Charles Bishop and Hollie Parker in Newton, Kansas.

Stanley F. “Stan” Hall, 91, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023.&nbsp;

He was born September 20, 1932 in Savannah, Missouri to William Alanson and Clare (Frazee) Hall.

Stan graduated from Savannah High School, then earned his degree in AB Psychology-Sociology from the University of Missouri.&nbsp;

He married Doris Jean Coy on August 31, 1956. She preceded him in death on August 12, 2014.

Stan proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for two years and the Reserves for 26 years, retiring as a lieutenant colonel.

He then began a long and varied career in business. He worked for 20 years in various Sales and Management positions with American Electric Co. of St. Joseph, as well as being based in Woodward, OK, and Fort Collins, CO, then went on to serve as President and General Manager of Seaman &amp; Schuske Metal Works Co. He then was Downtown Development Manager for the St. Joseph Area Chamber of Commerce, then Executive Director of the St. Joseph Development Corporation.

Stan was very active in the community, serving on the board of directors for the Salvation Army Advisory Board, Missouri Western Gold Coats, Heartland Health Foundation, St. Joseph Historical Society, and Performing Arts Association. He and Doris also played Santa and Mrs. Claus for the annual Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art “Breakfast With Santa” for many years.

He also was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, St. Joseph Rotary Club #32, American Legion #287, BPO Elks, Brookdale Presbyterian Church; The Retired Officers Association (TROA, MOAA), Savannah Lodge #71 AF&amp;AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Moila Shrine Temple, and various local military, arts, historical and sports memberships.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Doris; his son, John Hall; his parents; and a sister, Genevieve Fallis (Pat).

Matthew enjoyed hiking and fishing any chance he could get. He would go canoeing on the river with friends. He loved spending time with his family.

Kathryne Dollis Ford, a beloved educator, cherished wife, mother, and grandmother of Cosby, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, in Kansas City, Missouri, at the age of 77.

Born on September 29, 1946, in Jackson, Missouri, Kathryne was the daughter of Cecil and Lucile (Stewart) Seabaugh. In December 1968, she married her soulmate, Dennis Nelson Ford.

Kathryne's passion for education was evident from the start. She earned her degree in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri State University, where she not only excelled academically but also showcased her spirit as a varsity cheerleader and a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha social sorority. Her career in education spanned many years, beginning as a dedicated 2nd-grade teacher at John Glenn Elementary. Later, she transitioned to the role of librarian in both the Savannah and St. Joseph school districts. Her commitment to education extended beyond traditional classrooms as she also taught at the Ruth Huston Learning Center, where she found immense joy in helping individuals earn their GEDs.

A woman of diverse interests and affiliations, Kathryne was a member of the Savannah Christian Church and engaged in several social organizations, including Swiss Lodge Lady Edelweiss Society and Semper Fidelis.

Beyond her professional and social pursuits, Kathryne was a devoted family woman. Her husband, Dennis, their children, Dallas Ford (Dana) of Shawnee, KS, and Adam Ford (Deetra) of Faucett, MO, as well as her grandchildren, Riley, Jenna, Brendan, Davin, and Lily Ford, meant the world to her. Kathryne found great fulfillment in nurturing and teaching not only her students but also her own children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Dennis; her children, grandchildren, brother Clark Seabaugh (Claudia) of Bedford, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Kathryne was preceded in death by her parents.

After retiring from a career in financial services, David kept up on the financial markets of both the U.S. and the U.K., while he pursued his passion to work with his hands, be it painting, carpentry, gardening or landscaping.

David loved all things history, from both the U.S. and U.K. He also was known for being quick on his feet with witty British aphorisms.

Survivors include two daughters, Claire and Elizabeth; two grandchildren, Sam and Abi; brothers, Geoff Mahy and Alan Mahy; and good friend, Mickey Vernon.

David Mahy 1947 - 2023

Dezina Odom, 77, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023.&nbsp;

She was born April 14, 1946 in San Mateo, California to Winfred “Tex” and Ouida (Hudgins) Woodard. She grew up in California, graduating from Venice High School.

Dezina married David Odom on February 20, 1965.

After graduating she worked at a bank in Hollywood, where she met some movie-star bank customers, including Cary Grant. Later she would become one of the top consultants for Tupperware, a title she kept for 45 years.

Dezina loved to read and was a great cook, making memorable corned beef and cabbage and birthday cakes for all of the family.

Dezina Odom, 77, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023.&nbsp;She was born April 14, 1946 in San Mateo, California to Winfred “Tex” and Ouida (Hudgins) Woodard. She grew up in California, graduating from Venice High School.Dezina married David Odom on February 20, 1965.After graduating she worked at a bank in Hollywood, where she met some movie-star bank customers, including Cary Grant. Betty Jean Sparks joined her husband Clarence W. "Bud" Sparks and her Savior on the morning of November 30, 2023, at her home. Betty was born to Autry D. and Evelyn G. (Stoneburner) Babcock on June 25, 1924.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters Carol O. Reiley and Permelia L. “Peggy” DeMar, sons-in-law, Paul K. Stracener and Charles F. Mueller.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Betty loved helping in the kitchen for her grandson Chaun F. Mueller, President of Chaun's Catering, Inc. She also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter and grandchildren. On April 5, 2005 Betty and Bud celebrated 61 years of marriage.

Survivors include two daughters, Vickie J. Mueller and Karen S. “Susie” Stracener. Grandson, Chaun F. Mueller and granddaughter, Tami R. (Sherry) Stracener. Marilyn Batliner, 92, Agency, Missouri, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023.&nbsp;

She was born April 23, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri to William and Elizabeth (Doty) Hatton.

Marilyn married Leo F. Batliner on January 23, 1960. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2022.

She enjoyed working for a few years at the former Children’s Home and then for many years as secretary for Judge Frank Connett. She kept in touch with her co-workers from the courthouse after retirement.

Faith was central to Marilyn’s life. She was a very active member and CCD teacher at St. Therese Catholic Church in Kansas City before the family moved to Agency, Missouri, when she joined St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in St. Joseph.

Marilyn and Leo loved to travel, especially to the Reno Air Races every year.

Family meant everything to Marilyn. She loved spending time with her family, with annual reunions at the farm a highlight each year.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Leo; her parents; grandson, Danny Lee Batliner; twin brother, William Hatton; and sisters, Judy Hatton Buterbaugh and Ellen Teresa Hatton.

Survivors include her children, Liz Batliner, Leo Michael Batliner (Pamela), Paul Batliner (Wendy), and Dan Batliner (Stephanie); six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Veda Hatton Baier (Ed); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marilyn Batliner 1931 - 2023

My name is Michael Nellestein. Jas was my best friend and my wife for 40 years. She was the best woman I’ve ever known. A resolute Christian with strong beliefs and unwavering values. Jas was 100% committed to her children, her husband, her friends and her faith.&nbsp;

Jas was born on Easter morning, April 6th, 1958 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She died at 65 years of age, at 1:43 pm, on Thursday, November 30th, 2023. Myself, Emily and Adrew were with her, holding her hand and playing her favorite music. She was never alone. She died from metastatic Cancer of unknown primary, initially diagnosed in Oct 2022.

Jas attended k-12 schooling in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was academically, socially, and athletically very talented. She attended Conestoga Valley High School where she was elected student body president, received 12 varsity letters for field hockey, basketball and tennis. She won numerous regional awards and in 2008 was selected to the Conestoga High School Hall of Fame.&nbsp;

She attended Wilkes university on a field hockey scholarship and majored in nursing. Over the course of her collegiate field hockey career, she received multiple awards and was the Mid Atlantic Conference MVP in 1979. She was a runner-up for the U S Olympic Field Hockey team and was inducted to Wilkes University Hall of Fame in 2000.&nbsp;

After college, in 1979, Jas joined the United States Navy as a registered nurse and was stationed at Bethesda Naval hospital. While continuing to serve full time in the Navy, in 1983 Jas obtained her Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from George Washington University.&nbsp;

I Joined the Navy in 1979 as a medical student at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences at the Bethesda Naval Hospital. Gods plan was in motion. In 1982 as a medical student working on the Cardiothoracic Surgery service I met Jas—an ICU nurse. While standing over a mutual patient she looked at me and quipped “ hey, you have friends around here?” She had the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen, was witty, funny, smart and was an exceptional nurse. I was smitten. We began dating and during this time I taught her how to play golf. She loved it, became very good, very quickly due to her natural athleticism, and became an avid golfer for the rest of her life.

We dated for 8 months. I proposed, she accepted, and we were married on 5 November 1983. This…was the beginning of the very best 40 years of my life.&nbsp;

We led a Navy life, serving 7 years overseas and multiple years at Bethesda naval hospital. The overseas tours included 3 years in Okinawa Japan(84-87), 1 year at Guantanamo Bay Cuba (91-92) where our son Andrew was born in 1991, and 3 years in Honolulu, Hawaii (94-97) where our daughter Emily was born. During this time in Hawaii, we made lifelong friends that continue to this day. In 1997 she was President of the Kaneohe Womens Golf Association, a very fine honor.

In 1990, while I was a general surgery resident at Bethesda, Jas obtained her Diploma from George Washington University as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). From 1990 onward she worked full time as a CRNA.&nbsp;

Our ties to the Kansas City area began in 1992-1994, when I was trained as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon at St.Lukes hospital. We then had the final Navy tour in Hawaii from 94-97.

Since 1998 we have lived and served in Saint Joseph, Missouri. And so many great relationships were born and have grown stronger every day.&nbsp;

Jas was passionate about everything she undertook, but some resonated with more power.

First and foremost, her conviction for and belief in our lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jas was a lifelong devout Christian, she read her bible and journaled daily until cancers toll prevented writing, and reading became more difficult. Jas NEVER complained about her pain or her situation. There was never a “woe is me” moment. I was at her side thru this entire time and Jassie was a Christian warrior. At the end she faced death head on with strength, courage and conviction. Simply an incredible woman.

Second, Her children, Andrew and Emily. Jassie was 100% committed to them. She loved and cherished them both from the very first breath they took, to the very last breath that she took. Countless hours of academic help, coaching, and supporting them both completely and unconditionally. Helping and supporting her children, attending their sporting events and cheering them on, this was a great highlight for Jas. We made lifelong friends through these sporting teams, many of whom helped immensely over the past 15 months.

Third, her golfing friends. Both in Hawaii and here in St. Joseph. Jas absolutely loved her Golf friends. The very best times of her life-once the kids were grown and on their own-was playing golf with her friends. That time on the course and at the 19th hole—those were among her most cherished times. When Cancer hit in Oct 2022, and she could no longer play, it was devastating. But all those ladies were relentless in supporting Jas and our family. They gave her constant companionship, stepped in to help her with personal needs like organizing her closet when she could no longer physically manage to do so. And they always made sure we had good food to eat.

Fourth, Travel. Jassie loved to travel, especially to play golf. Multiple shared trips with her ladies from Hawaii made cherished memories and friendships. The highest among those travel trips were with our oldest and dearest friends from the Navy. Tony and Mary Quinn. Jas and Mary were nurses together way back in their twenties. Tony was the first classmate I met at Medical School, and Mary and Jas were nurses together. The four of us have travelled the US and Scotland playing golf. And we loved all those moments.

Fifth her job at Murphy, Watson and Burr. Jassie adored the physicians and optometrists she worked with. Drs. Burr, Watson, and Murphy…just the best. And the OR Crew was amazing, fun, and just great. Jassie LOVED going to work every day to work with you guys. She loved taking care of people and was an immensely talented CRNA.&nbsp;

Sixth her husband. Jassie loved me and I loved her. We had a magically charmed life for 40 years, and a tragically harmed life for 1 year. I am proud that I took care of her to the end. We considered ourselves incredibly blessed with happiness and good fortune. We wish it could have gone on forever, but we know we were much more fortunate than the vast majority of people and for this we are very thankful. It was my privilege to be married to her and, over the past year, while taking care of her every day, I grew to love and respect her more every day because of her courage, strength and conviction.

Jas and I are very thankful for several individuals.

Emily and Andrew Nellestein. Our children, both of home came home for weeks to take care of their mom. The baths, backrubs, foot rubs, and the painful endurance of watching your mother die, without ever faltering or shying away from her. Holding her hand at the end and transmitting the love that had been sent your direction for 20-30 years, all back to her. True love returned in full. I could not have handled this without them.&nbsp;

The softball moms—Lynne, Dana, Trish-for constant support and love that filled our hearts.

Sherry and Vicki—two of Jassies oldest and dearest friends that would always be here on a moments notice to decorate, or to escort Jassie on a walk. You two ladies are simply amazing and we love you.

And they always made sure we had good food to eat.Fourth, Travel. Jassie loved to travel, especially to play golf. Multiple shared trips with her ladies from Hawaii made cherished memories and friendships. The highest among those travel trips were with our oldest and dearest friends from the Navy. Tony and Mary Quinn. Jas and Mary were nurses together way back in their twenties. Tony was the first classmate I met at Medical School, and Mary and Jas were nurses together. The four of us have travelled the US and Scotland playing golf. And we loved all those moments.Fifth her job at Murphy, Watson and Burr. Jassie adored the physicians and optometrists she worked with. Drs. Burr, Watson, and Murphy…just the best. And the OR Crew was amazing, fun, and just great. Jassie LOVED going to work every day to work with you guys. She loved taking care of people and was an immensely talented CRNA.&nbsp;Sixth her husband. Jassie loved me and I loved her. We had a magically charmed life for 40 years, and a tragically harmed life for 1 year. I am proud that I took care of her to the end. We considered ourselves incredibly blessed with happiness and good fortune. We wish it could have gone on forever, but we know we were much more fortunate than the vast majority of people and for this we are very thankful. ONAGA – Patricia J. Merriman, 86, of Onaga, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 the Eastridge Nursing Facility in Centralia.

She was born July 19, 1937 in Lacygne, KS, the daughter of Rollie and May Johnston Coffel. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;

Pat was baptized in the Presbyterian Church in Amoret, MO and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Onaga.

She had worked as a CNA at Golden Acres Nursing Home in Onaga for twenty-five years. &nbsp;She also worked at Redbud Nursing Facility in Onaga for five years, Jackson County Nursing Home and Medicalodge Assisted Living, both in Holton.

She married Robert Henry. &nbsp;They were divorced. &nbsp;She later married Francis Merriman. &nbsp;They were divorced. &nbsp;She and Walter Junod were together for twenty-two years, until his passing.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, four sisters, a granddaughter, Chasity Merriman, and a grandson, Jason Dockins.

Survivors include five sons, Robert Henry, Soldier, Richard Henry, Independence, MO, Scott Merriman (Betty), Onaga, and Charles P. Merriman and Donald Merriman, both of Topeka, a daughter, Renee Hubert (John), Concordia, a sister-in-law, Donna Coffel, Independence, MO, eighteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Pat will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Onaga. &nbsp;Inurnment will follow in the Neuchatel Cemetery. &nbsp;

Marion “Mick” Francis Mick, 78, of Plattsburg, MO passed away December 4, 2023.

He was born July 31, 1945, to Oswald “Ozzie” and Lorraine (Taylor) Mick in Plattsburg, MO where he grew up and graduated from Plattsburg High School. He then served his county in the United States Navy.

On February 11, 1985, he was united in marriage to Peggy (Manus) Rawlings. After their marriage they lived in Plattsburg where they made their home. Peggy passed away on December 18, 2015.&nbsp;

Mick was an over the road truck driver and later drove a school bus for the Plattsburg School District. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his parents Ozzie and Lorraine Mick, his wife Peggy Mick, and 9 brothers and sisters Sharon Mick, John Henry Mick, Donnie Mick, Herman Mick, Geraldean Mick, Karolin Mick and Helen Mick.&nbsp;

Mick is survived by children Frankie Joe Rawlings, Twila (Tom) Berryman, Linda Mae Rawlings and Eddie (Jada) Rawlings; grandchildren Dillon (Emily) Knight, Brandon Knight, Cheyanne Berryman, Denver Berryman, and Montana Elkins; great-grandson Wesson Knight; brother Dennis Mick; sister Elizabeth Miner; several nieces and nephews including John and Sandra Musser, Mitchell (Sara) Mick and David Mick; other relatives and many, many friends.

John Williams, 88, of Gower, MO, passed away, December 2, 2023.

He was born on March 10, 1935 to Dave Coleman and Grace Pearl (Southard) Williams in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He served his country in the U.S. Army.

On August 9, 1982 he was united in marriage Gloria (Thompson) Ransdell. After their marriage they lived in Gower where they made their home.

John was a mechanic for Boeing and retired from TWA/American Airlines with over 50 years of service. He was the great storyteller of the family. John loved his job at TWA was an OU Sooners Fan. He loved playing basketball and dominoes with his brothers, attending Williams Family Reunions and hiding money for his grandkids to find. He was the Chaplain’s assistant at the Leavenworth Penitentiary. He was a member of the Smithville Family Worship Center. John was preceded in death his parents, brothers, Dave Williams, Jr, Merle Williams, Verle Williams, Van Dale Williams, Leo Williams, Bill Williams; son, Mickey Williams; and daughter, Tracy Daugherity; and grandson, Bryson Ransdell.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; children, Rickye Williams, Marla Garrett, Cynthia (Scott) Grieger, and Jimmie (Sara) Ransdell; brothers, Jerry (Marci) Williams and Jack (Landee) Williams; sister, Dorothy (Steve) Davenport; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was an accountant for Psychiatric Hospital and Morning Star Foods.

Janis had a passion for quilting and sewing. She operated an Etsy Shop making American girl doll clothes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dennis L. Pepper Sr., brother, Eugene Morton, step-mother, Betty Morton and step-brother, Randy Morton.

Mary Elizabeth Marriott, 81, of Troy, Kansas passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at the Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Mary was born on April 25, 1942, in Troy, Kansas, daughter of Don and Anna Marie (Bracken) Winkel.

She graduated from Troy High School in 1960. Mary worked various jobs throughout her life, including, Whittaker Cable, Sherwood Medical, Troy Fast Lane, Jarrett/Simpson Hardware, Doniphan County Sheriff’s Department/ Dispatcher, DCSW, Heartland Regional Medical Center/Transport Driver and the Feed Store Café/Cashier and waitress. Mary was a former member of First Baptist Church, Troy. She has been attending Troy Christian Church.&nbsp;

Mary was the first official score keeper for the American Legion Baseball team.

Mary and John worked and raised 4 children, and still found the time and money to sponsor children from the Noyes Home. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending sports activities and going to the casino. No matter who visited Mary’s home, she always said “Come Back.”

Mary married John Haven Marriott on September 3, 1960, at the First Baptist Church in Troy. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2015. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law, Mendi Marriott, brother, Gene Shelton and brother-in-law, Mike Hegarty.

Survivors: daughter, Lori Euler (Rick), Wathena, Kansas, granddaughter, Avery.

Kenneth (Kenny) Jerome Barmann, 61, of Rea, Missouri passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 3, 2023.

He was born March 13, 1962 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Gerald (Jerry) and Vesta V. (Guyer) Barmann.

He attended St. Francis Xavier school and was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1979.

Kenny was a business man, a gift he got from his father and owned Barmann Construction and Roofing Company. He loved to work, and was very proud of any of the jobs he did. He enjoyed working alongside his brothers Greg and Doug.&nbsp;

Kenny loved to paint, a gift he got from his mother. He also loved to fish, one of his favorite spots to go fishing was at Happy Holler Lake. He enjoyed being outside in the warm sun, gardening, and watching the birds.

Kenny was also a strong man of Faith. Through all of the challenges that he had to face recently, he always kept his kind nature. He was a gentle man and a wonderful brother, uncle and friend.

Kenneth (Kenny) Jerome Barmann, 61, of Rea, Missouri passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 3, 2023.He was born March 13, 1962 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Gerald (Jerry) and Vesta V. (Guyer) Barmann.He attended St. Francis Xavier school and was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1979.Kenny was a business man, a gift he got from his father and owned Barmann Construction and Roofing Company. He loved to work, and was very proud of any of the jobs he did. He enjoyed working alongside his brothers Greg and Doug.&nbsp;Kenny loved to paint, a gift he got from his mother. Barmann, and brother-in-law, Terry Joe Crist.Survivors include six siblings, Greg Barmann (Jan), William Barmann (Carol), Julie Owsley (David), Teresa Crist, Sheila Barmann and Doug Barmann; His best friend of many years whom he adored, Debby Hernandez; uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.A heartfelt thank you to his caregivers at Mosaic Life Care and Mosaic Hospice Care, especially his niece April who helped Kenny through his short illness with love and care in making it a peaceful journey as angels took him to Heaven.&nbsp;The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm, Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Heaton-Bowman-Smith &amp; Sidenfaden Chapel, followed by a prayer service and visitation until 8:00 pm.<figure>
