David Mahy, 76, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023.
He was born October 5, 1947 in Guernsey, Channel Islands, Great Britain to Robert and Charlotte Mahy.
After retiring from a career in financial services, David kept up on the financial markets of both the U.S. and the U.K., while he pursued his passion to work with his hands, be it painting, carpentry, gardening or landscaping.
David loved all things history, from both the U.S. and U.K. He also was known for being quick on his feet with witty British aphorisms.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Claire and Elizabeth; two grandchildren, Sam and Abi; brothers, Geoff Mahy and Alan Mahy; and good friend, Mickey Vernon.
