Brenda Lea Boeh, 63, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 at her home. She was born December 23, 1960 in St. Joseph, daughter of Bonnie and Raymond Hoover Sr. 

 She graduated from Lafayette High School, class of 1979. She married Charles Boeh on November 17, 1978. She had worked in the Sanitation Department at Tyson Foods and Hillshire. Brenda enjoyed spending time reading, going shopping, traveling, and spending time with her sisters and grandchildren.  She also enjoyed volunteering her time for Heros for Heros. 

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Boeh Sr., her parents, Bonnie Jean Hoover-Zberiski and Raymond  Hoover Sr., her brother, Raymond Hoover Jr., and grandson, Joey Boeh. 

Survivors include: sons, Charles (Elorie) Boeh of St Joseph and Bryon (Susan) Boeh of Raymore, MO, sisters, Dianna Crofford of Tulsa, OK, Paula Hamilton of St. Joseph, Peggy (Ray) Buch of Elwood, KS, and Patti (Dave) McKinney of St. Joseph, grandchildren, Lauren, Kaylea, Gabe, Kaleb, Katie, Isabella, and Oren Boeh. Brian Torgerson, 55, of Theodosia, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 while visiting family in St. Joseph, MO. He was born July 31, 1969 in Long Beach, CA, son of Penny and Kenneth Torgerson. 

He spent many of his youth years in Texas. On June 12, 2009, he married Michelle Hughes. Brian worked as an Electrician for many years, and he was a member of IBEW Union in Springfield, MO. 

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Torgerson.

Darlene Wilson, 95, of Smithville, MO passed away, September 13, 2024.

She was born on August 27, 1929 to Luther Clark and Lona (Swinson) Owen in Smithville, MO. Darlene grew up in Smithville and graduated from Smithville High School as Valedictorian in 1947.

On May 16, 1958 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Wilson. After their marriage they made their home in Smithville. Her husband preceded her in death on August 19, 2019.

Darlene retired from Fleming Foods after 20 years. She was an avid Royals fan and loved to travel. Most of all she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.

Darlene was a member of the First Baptist Church in Smithville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Jennie Peterman and Mary Citlau.

Darlene is survived by her children, John (Teresa) Wilson, Carol Wilson, and Carla Berner; grandchildren, Christina (Brent) Bowman, Jason Berner, and Kathryn Wilson; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Caw, Bentlee Bowman, Cashus Bowman; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Gloria Isabelle Carter Jackson, 86, Atchison, passed away peacefully at the Lansing Care and Rehab Center, Lansing, KS, on Saturday, September 14, 2024.

Gloria was born December 4, 1937, to Audrey Raymond and Carolina Jean (Speroni) Carter. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1955 and began her career with Southwestern Bell telephone company, starting as switchboard operator and moving to the business office in 1967.

Gloria married Edward Corky Jackson on November 14, 1959. Their Love Story was sixty-four years long. Gloria loved to sew, play the piano, color and the beauty of flowers and birds. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers, Don, Paul and Mike Carter.

She is survived by her husband Corky of sixty-four years, her daughter, Michelle and Ron Urban, granddaughter Maria Urban and Matt Griffin, grand dogs, Sebastain and Hank and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. A private family memorial graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary at a later date.

Robert married Pamela Ann Callaway on October 17, 1977, in Platte City, MO, they were married forty-six years. His wife Pamela survives of the home. He was born December 13, 1954 in Independence, Kansas to Donald Dean Thompson, Sr. and Fannie Mae (Dilly) Thompson.

Donald married Jennifer (Bode) Thompson on June 28, 2003. She survives of the home.

He was a mechanic and truck driver for St. Joe Express for 30 years.

Donald enjoyed working on cars, fishing, racing cars, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Dean Thompson, Sr. and Fannie Mae Dilly Thompson; son, Robert Lee Moran III; and brothers, Charles Steele and Walter Thompson.

James Louie Jones, 85, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

He was born July 28, 1939 in Marion, Illinois to James and Dorothy (McGee) Jones.

He was a self-employed carpenter for Jones Construction for 33 years.

James enjoyed fishing, basketball and mowing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Chandra and Traci; grandson, Gabril James Keller; and siblings, Jerry, Carolyn, and Roscoe Jones.

Survivors include his daughter, Toni Buhman; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Kimmy.

Gary Poling, 81, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024.

He was born on July 5, 1943, to Donald and Evelyn (Johnson) Poling in Oregon City, Oregon.

He was a member of the United States Air Force, serving multiple tours in Vietnam.

On November 24, 1967, he married Margaret Lucille Hornback. She preceded him in death on May 10, 2018, after nearly 51 years of marriage.

He was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church, and he loved the fellowship of his church family.

Gary enjoyed working on old cars and spending time with his family. He was a pleasant and personable man who will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Evelyn Poling; his wife, Margaret Poling; and his twin brother, Larry Poling.

Stewartsville, Missouri…Donald “Donnie” Gene Jackson, age 80, was called home by his Lord and Savior on September 11, 2024. He was born July 11, 1944 in St. Joseph, Missouri, the son of Marlin and Geneva Jean (Gibson) Jackson.

Donald Tittsworth, 75, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024 in St. Joseph. He was born August 25, 1949 in St. Joseph, son of Wilma Estes and Donald Tittsworth. 

He served in the Army and he worked at Wonder Bread as a baker and as a truck driver for CFI. Donald was a huge Royal's baseball fan, even coached a family softball team, loved to bowl, fish, and loved &nbsp;the River Boat. 

Donald &nbsp;was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James Harrison Tittsworth, Sr., sister, Laronda (Ron) Selecman, brother-in-law, Bob Lynch, sister-in-law, Jeanie Tittsworth, and son, James Tittsworth.

Brayden “Chewey” Robert Becerra, 24, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024.

He was born on June 17, 2000, to Ronald Becerra and Stephanie Barron in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Brayden attended St. James School and later graduated from Lafayette High School. During high school, he was very active within the football team.

He worked as an operator for Spire Inc. and previously worked as a warehouse associate for Altec.

Brayden enjoyed working out, riding dirt bikes with his friends, racing, fast cars, and attending bike rallies. He also enjoyed travelling and visiting the beach. He was an ornery jokester with a quick wit and great sense of humor, and well known for his big, beautiful smile.

Above all, Brayden loved spending time with his family and his dogs. He enjoyed watching his favorite movies and tv shows with them, including Step Brothers, Dumb &amp; Dumber, Jersey Shore and Shameless.

At the end of his life, Brayden was able to give the gift of life to 6 individuals through the generosity of organ donation. Because of his selflessness, he was able to provide these individuals with a new beginning. This is the kind of man that his family and friends will remember him being as they cherish their memories of him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Benjamin and Mary Barron, and Grandma Betty White&nbsp;; uncles, Dave and John Barron; and cousins, Joseph, Carissa and Kain Barron and Brodee Becerra.

Dorothy Ellen Barnes, 92, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024 in Hiawatha, Kansas.

She was born to George and Bertha Wakehouse in Council Bluffs, Iowa on October 20, 1931. She married Chuck Turpin and they lived in Iowa until his passing. She met Doyce “Bud” Barnes in California and there were married and they lived in California until 1972 when they moved to Arkansas and lived there until his death.

Dorothy is survived by Kathy Turpin of Fullerton, California; Sharon (Jim) Farris of Hiawatha, Kansas and her grandchildren Britney (Devin) White and CJ Farris; great grandchildren Lily, Jameson &amp; Lucas White; step-children, David Barnes, Dorce Barnes and Debbye Barreda; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two sisters and a brother.

There will be a memorial service at Calvary Temple Saturday September 14 at 1:00 PM

She will be laid to rest at Galatia Cemetery in Norfork, Arkansas at a graveside service at 11:00 AM on September 21.

Lloyd D. Wilson, 89, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024, in a local hospital.

He was born July 30, 1935 in Turney, Missouri. He was the son of Mildred Evelyn (Dewey) and John Wesley Wilson.

He retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation in 1993 after 40 years of service.

Lloyd was married to Donna Lynn Pemberton from 1953 to 1980. In 1980 he married Marlene J. Blodgett.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Lou Smith; infant grandson, David Million; and his wife, Marlene.

He enjoyed dancing, horses, taking care of his lawn and in later years watching sports on TV and westerns.

Lloyd was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and Eagles Lodge #49.

Lloyd is survived by two daughters, Pamela Million (Mike), and Susan Voss (Hank); three stepdaughters, Dana Matt (Pete), Donna Bruns (Jeff), and Darcy Adams (Steve). “He loved all of his girls.”

Additional survivors include his brother Earl Bratcher; sister, Sherri Siders; grandchildren, John Voss (Jayme), Adrian Johnson (Thaylan), Michael Million, Brad Million (Misty), Blair Costello (Tyler), Joshua Glidewell, Janelle Glidewell, Bethany Barton, Megan Barton, and Amanda Adams; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Sally Payne.

Evelyn Furst, 96, St. Joseph, Missouri, formerly of Cosby, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

She was born October 7, 1927 in Rosendale, Missouri to Harry B. and Mabel N. (Adkins) Rhoades.

After a year of study at Northwest Missouri State University she received her teaching certificate. She taught at Rosendale public school for a year.

Evelyn married Earl W. Furst on May 22, 1948. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2020.

Evelyn was an active participant in 4-H and the community. She was involved in numerous churches and their activities. She enjoyed square dancing and shared her love of antique cars with the Moila Old Tymer’s. Evelyn also enjoyed going on trips with Earl on their private plane.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Earl; her parents; daughter, Cindy Lou Furst; daughter-in-law, Marian Furst; great-grandson, Daniel; sisters, Louanne Furst and Edwina Gomel.

Survivors include her children, Ray Furst (Janet) and Kenneth Furst; grandchildren, Scott, Jasen, Spencer, Melissa, Chris, Amanda, Sarah, and Zachary; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Evelyn Furst 1927 - 2024

Jack Kenyon, 77, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away on September 8, 2024. He was born on May 7, 1947 to Jack Sr. Kenyon and Edna LaVerne Kenyon (Hall) in Flint, Michigan.

Jack graduated from Hutchinson High School in Hutchinson, Kansas in 1965. He enlisted and served in the Vietnam War. After his service was over, he attended Northeast Missouri State College, currently Truman State University, in Kirksville, MO where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration.

While attending college, he met the love of his life, Rosalind Tester, and they married in 1971. The Kenyon’s put roots down in Gower, MO, where they raised their two children and where you would often see Jack driving around in a convertible or a motorcycle or hauling his boat out to Smithville Lake. Eventually they moved to St. Joseph where they both lived for the rest of their lives.

Jack worked at Carnation, now Nestlé Purina, for 29 years before retiring in 2003.

Jack enjoyed spending time with his family most of all. His activities were riding his motorcycle, archery and golfing..

Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Rosalind Kenyon, and his parents Jack Kenyon Sr and Edna LaVerne Kenyon, his beloved Uncle Clint Hall (Genevieve), Aunt Oleta (Bill), and his grandparents Jessie and Lorene Hall and Jack and Lola Kenyon.

Jack is survived by his daughter Mia Michelle Kenyon, his son Daniel Kenyon, his son-in-law Joe Frank, his daughter-in-law Teresa Kenyon, his 4 grandchildren: Alexei Hockenberg, Jack Kenyon, Oliver Wright-Frank, Henry Frank; and his sister Linda (Larry) Hicks. He is also survived by his brother &amp; sister in- laws, many cousins and 11 nieces and nephews.

A visitation and a Celebration of Life is planned for September 12, 2024 from 3:00–6:00 PM at Fairview Golf Course, Banquet Room, 3302 Pacific, St. Joseph, MO. A brief, informal service will begin at 4:00 PM and the family encourages those who can participate by sharing memories and stories of Jack.

He was born on May 7, 1947 to Jack Sr. Kenyon and Edna LaVerne Kenyon (Hall) in Flint, Michigan.Jack graduated from Hutchinson High School in Hutchinson, Kansas in 1965. He enlisted and served in the Vietnam War. After his service was over, he attended Northeast Missouri State College, currently Truman State University, in Kirksville, MO where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration.While attending college, he met the love of his life, Rosalind Tester, and they married in 1971. The Kenyon’s put roots down in Gower, MO, where they raised their two children and where you would often see Jack driving around in a convertible or a motorcycle or hauling his boat out to Smithville Lake. Eventually they moved to St. Joseph where they both lived for the rest of their lives.Jack worked at Carnation, now Nestlé Purina, for 29 years before retiring in 2003.Jack enjoyed spending time with his family most of all. His activities were riding his motorcycle, archery and golfing..Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Rosalind Kenyon, and his parents Jack Kenyon Sr and Edna LaVerne Kenyon, his beloved Uncle Clint Hall (Genevieve), Aunt Oleta (Bill), and his grandparents Jessie and Lorene Hall and Jack and Lola Kenyon.Jack is survived by his daughter Mia Michelle Kenyon, his son Daniel Kenyon, his son-in-law Joe Frank, his daughter-in-law Teresa Kenyon, his 4 grandchildren: Alexei Hockenberg, Jack Kenyon, Oliver Wright-Frank, Henry Frank; and his sister Linda (Larry) Hicks. He is also survived by his brother &amp; sister in- laws, many cousins and 11 nieces and nephews.A visitation and a Celebration of Life is planned for September 12, 2024 from 3:00–6:00 PM at Fairview Golf Course, Banquet Room, 3302 Pacific, St. Joseph, MO. Jack Kenyon 1947 - 2024

Jane Marie Dewar Schuele, born on September 24, 1944, in Kansas City, KS, passed away on September 10, 2024, after an 18-year courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved daughter of Donald and Mary Dewar.

Jane attended Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, KS, and graduated in 1962. After high school, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of St. Mary, Leavenworth, KS, in 1966. Following graduation, she began her teaching career in Kansas City, KS.

On February 12, 1972, Jane married Karl Schuele at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kansas City, KS. For the duration of their marriage, the couple resided on their family farm in Atchison, KS.

Jane worked at Benedictine College for 32 years, contributing to various roles, including the Maintenance Department and the Executive MBA program. However, she was best known for her work as a Library Assistant for Interlibrary Loans at the Benedictine College Library, earning the nickname “Library Jane,” before retiring in 2022. In addition, Jane spent several years working with the Benedictine Sisters in their kitchen.

As a devoted St. Benedict Parish member, Jane supported the adoration chapel for 22 years. She loved reading, cheering on the Benedictine College basketball and football teams, attending musical events at the college, and especially enjoyed performances by the Atchison Jazz Express. She discovered a new role in the Atchison Community later in life as she combined her passion for loving children, holiday spirit, and the color red by playing the role of Mrs. Claus with her real-life partner and husband, Karl, who played Santa Claus. Santa and Mrs. Claus celebrated Christmas in the Atchison community for 18 years, earning her a place on the “nice list” for life.

Jane always proclaimed herself to be practical, down to earth, and a champion of the underdog. Her life is a testament to the type of person she truly is, especially through compassion; Jane never hesitated to help out someone in need, whether they needed shelter, help with running errands, or even providing care for a relative or friend in poor health or dying. She loves her family dearly and always attended events for her kids, grandkids, and nieces/nephews at school. Many knew Jane to share her affection for ladybugs, sunsets, and sunflowers. At Benedictine basketball and football games, she was a fierce fan and celebrated the raven spirit, along with her favorite marching band. She is also known as “Country Jane” at the local KAIR Radio station and was an enthusiastic and loyal listener. Jane cherished her friendships and relationships, which played a significant role in her life, bringing joy and connection wherever she went.

Jane is survived by her husband of 52 years, Karl Schuele of Atchison, KS; her four children: Jeff (Megan) Schuele of Atchison, KS, Dan (Carolyn Salfrank) Schuele of Atchison, KS, Jennifer Schuele of Overland Park, KS, and Denise Schuele of Overland Park, KS; her sister, Rita (Larry) Heintzelman of Olathe, KS; her brother-in-law, Tom (Pauline) Schuele of Atchison, KS; and her sister-in-law, Marilyn Geiger of Robinson, KS. She also leaves behind nine granddaughters- Kayla, Allison, Greta, Annika, Bridget, Kai, Alaney, Marika, and Liesel, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald, and Mary Dewar-Flynn; her stepfather, Richard Flynn; her granddaughter, Ashton Marie Schuele; and her grandson, Colin Keating Schuele.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at St. Joseph Church in Atchison, KS. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to Mount St. Scholastica or St. Benedict’s Abbey and may be entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Jane Marie Schuele 1944 - 2024

Deanna Kay Potts of Kansas City, MO, formerly of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024. She was born January 15,1942 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Tura Virginia Bodde and James Lewis Mules. She graduated high school from the Convent of the Sacred Heart, attended St. Mary’s College, before marrying her high school sweetheart John Stephen Potts on May 20,1961.&nbsp;

Throughout grade school and high school, Deanna was very close to her Cathedral friends, most of whom stood with her at her wedding. Deanna’s house was known as a popular gathering place, with a basement designed for fun—jukebox of 45s, pool table, foosball, card table. Many of the friendships and romances begun in this rec room led to lifelong marriages—Deanna and John included.

Having lost her father when she was an infant, Deanna was raised primarily by her mother, maternal aunts, and maternal grandparents. &nbsp;Throughout her childhood and young adulthood, Deanna was very close to Grandpa Joe and Baba, spending many weekends and summers in their company. She spoke fondly of their care and attention. And though her mother worked full-time for a large family, raising 7 children mostly on her own (having outlived 3 husbands), Deanna’s relationship with her mother was steadfast and loving. Throughout Deanna’s adulthood they spoke daily by phone and dined together weekly.

Deanna was preceded in death by her loving parents Louis and Tura Mules; her brothers Louis Mules, Mike Huffer, David Huffer, Johnnie Huffer, and her sister Joy Homan; her beloved son J.L and daughter Sarah Lynn; and her cherished husband John. 

Survivors include Deanna’s son John S Potts III and wife Jennifer; daughters, Dana C Armstrong and husband Art, and Michelle A Potts; and youngest son, Mark J Potts and wife Kim; daughter-in-law Donna; and beloved brother Tom Huffer. She will be missed by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.&nbsp;

Deanna skillfully assisted in running the Weekend/Evening College at Park College as an Executive Administrative Assistant for a decade in the late 80s through the 90s. The director, Dell Bagley glowingly praised her organizational skills and communication abilities in a professional academic setting. The Park College students spoke lovingly of her compassion and unfailing support of their needs and college experiences. To this day, her daughter Michelle receives fond remembrances of Deanna from Park College students she meets in academic settings.

She also maintained a busy artistic and social life. She played bridge with neighborhood friends, participated in art activities (china painting, flower arranging, scrapbooking, stamping, oil painting), and maintained childhood relationships through her final days.

Deanna was a devoted mother and grandmother—her most treasured moments were times spent with any of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was known for making her home a loving space of magic and wonder for children—she always had a prominent playroom in the house. She curated a small children’s library, collected engaging toys for creative play, made musical play instruments available (piano, flutes, drums, ukelele), kept games on hand (cards, barrel of monkeys, checkers, chess, Scrabble, Monopoly, Life, Clue, Battleship, Jenga, Simon, jumping rope, hoola hoops), maintained 2-3 beautifully designed doll houses, managed boxes of play clothes (capes, jackets, and tons of hats—cowboy, fireman, beret, top hat, derby hat, and tiaras).

Her family and friends recognize that Deanna delighted in holidays—Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. She decorated her entire house, creating a space of joy. Walking into her home was always to step into a welcoming, loving, and gorgeously decorated space that invited you to sit and relax. Deanna went well beyond decorations for the holidays, though. She created experiences. When her grandchildren were toddlers, she planned a Nutcracker Party for them that became an annual event: Nutcrackers were placed throughout the house with lovely winter garlands, while the Nutcracker soundtrack played. Deanna would serve the grandchildren chicken soup with grilled cheese sandwiches. While the kids ate, she would read to them Chicken Soup with Rice by Maurice Sendak, with a rousing chorus—Happy once, happy twice…happy chicken soup with rice! The party always concluded with a craft activity that the kids took home with them.

Family was the cornerstone of Deanna’s life. &nbsp;

Her most important and enduring relationship, however, was with her husband John. Their love built a strong home and family, and their focus and commitment to one another never faltered. A marriage that spans 63 years is rare—their relationship inspired family and friends. They supported and loved one another through times of adversity, and they reveled in endless days spent in joyful and comfortable companionship with one another. They particularly enjoyed working together on the design and upkeep of their beautifully landscaped yards and gardens—a labor of love they shared together. Deanna designed gardens of lush blooms, bursting with colors and textures. And because John enjoyed any beckoning open road (the remnants of farm-life and 30+ years as a truck driver), Deanna joined him most afternoons for a drive about. They were also known to bring one another a fruit offering each evening—sliced apples, oranges or watermelon. They shared a devotion of the deepest love, evident in even the smallest gestures.

Deanna and John were faithful parishioners at Cathedral in St. Joseph and Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Kansas City. Together they contributed to their Catholic community and demonstrated the Christian tenets of love, faith, and compassion.

Deanna established a core of kindness and love in her familial line. The universe has lost one of its brightest stars, but her light will shine on for generations to come.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Cathedral of St. Joseph. A luncheon reception will follow at Cathedral. The Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm, Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Inurnment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery following the funeral mass.

Bonnie I. Locklin 86, of St Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at a local health care facility. She was born August 24, 1938 in St. Joseph, daughter of Erma and Franklin Hubbard. 

Bonnie married Marvin Locklin on August 28, 1962. She started working with Westab, and later became an In Home Caretaker, caring for many children over the years. Bonnie enjoyed spending time at the casino and playing Bingo. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to the Mountains in Colorado. 

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Locklin in 2004, her parents, siblings, Frank Hubbard, Bert Hubbard, and Hazel Heumader. 

Survivors include: children, Marvin "Scott" Locklin, III of Liberty, MO, Yolanda (Barry) Smith of St. Joseph, Samuel Locklin of Kansas City, MO, and Alishia Hudson of St. Joseph, sisters, Donna Brown of Holton, KS and Kathy Lance (Ken) of Savannah, MO, 7 grandchildren, &nbsp;and many great-grandchildren.

Ms. Locklin has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Graveside Memorial Service and Inurnment will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery with George Bascue officiating.
