Annette Alverda Henderson, 66, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025.
She was born June 5, 1959 to Aggrey M. and Joyce I. (Thomas) Darlington in Grenada, West Indies.
On July 18, 2003, she married Henry Lee Henderson. Their union was a testament to enduring partnership and mutual respect, although Henry sadly predeceased Annette in 2016.
Annette devoted herself to a career in healthcare, providing comfort and care to countless patients as an LPN in St. Joseph, Missouri for 25 years.
She was an adventurer at heart, embracing the joy of travel. Beyond her adventures, her faith was a cornerstone of her existence. She was a member of St Joseph Three Angels Seventh-day Adventist Church. Annette loved the Lord with all her heart and lived a life that reflected her beliefs, embodying kindness, charity, and an enduring hope.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include her siblings, Audrey McKenzie, Alma Elder (Neville), Althea Yearwood (Patrick), Deborah Moore (Irwin), Anthony Darlington (Okanna), Wayne Darlington, Glen Darlington (Risha), and David Darlington; nieces and nephews, Charnelle, Christopher, David, Patrice, Brianna, Bethany, Lishon, Shawn, Adrian, Ayson, Imani, Christina, Vishal, Tristan, Trenton, and Tyler.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 31, St. Joseph Three Angels Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 30, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
