Anne K. Bindel (Delaney), 92, Wathena, Kansas, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024.

She was born October 29, 1931 to the late Robert P. and Kathleen T. (Digerian) Delaney in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Anne's journey through life was marked by her commitment to education and service. A proud graduate of the Convent of Sacred Heart and Gard's College, she parlayed her skills and dedication into a varied career. She began as a court reporter for the Buchanan County Juvenile Court, a position she held for eight years, demonstrating her compassionate nature and attention to detail. Before transitioning to a cherished role as a secretary with Rockwell Manufacturing from 1959 to 1966, and later as an administrative assistant with the American Angus Association from 1967 until her retirement in 1994.

Her professional achievements were rivaled only by her love for community engagement. As a member of the Riverbend Promenaders, Anne danced her way into the hearts of many. Her faith was rooted in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, and her passion for empowering young women shone through her decade-long service on the board of directors for the Girl Scouts.

Anne's personal life was blessed with love, having been married to the late Donald "Don" Gawatz in 1954 and Francis "Frank" Bindel in 1989. She leaves behind a legacy of family who will continue to cherish her memory, including her niece, Janet Johnson; nephews, Brian, Kevin, James, and Robert Seufert; stepchildren, Richard Bindel (Patty), Alan Bindel (Nancy), David Bindel (Angela); and her beloved grandchildren, extended family, and a host of friends who will deeply miss her warm smile and generous heart.

Peggy Elliott-Calhoun, 86, passed away on October 17, 2024, at the home of her daughter Debbie in Dekalb, MO.

She was born September 3, 1938 to Homer and Bernice (Hathaway) Haskey. Peggy graduated from Lafayette High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to John Paul Elliott Sr. in 1957. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1995. In May of 1999 she married Glenn Calhoun.

She worked for HD Lee for 7 years. She later worked at Red Lobster, retiring with 20 years of service. Peggy and her late husband also owned and operated a restaurant in Elwood Kansas named AJK. Her passions were spending time with her family, playing cards, dominoes, cooking and sewing.

She was a past member of Caring First Assembly of God and a member of Grace Evangelical Church in St. Joseph, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Delores Williams, Rose Fowler, Pat Alvery, brothers Richard Haskey and Steven (Frank) Haskey Ill and granddaughter Katherine Ann Tanner.

Charles Elwood Goodson, 101, of Ravenwood, MO passed away on&nbsp;Monday October 21, 2024 at Pine View Manor in Stanberry, MO.

     Charles was born on his parents’ farm in northwest Gentry County Missouri on&nbsp;August 21, 1923. He completed the eighth-grade course of study at the McClanahan School (a one-room schoolhouse located near Alanthus Grove), and he attended Stanberry High School.

     He was drafted into the U.S. Army during World War II, and he trained for the anticipated land invasion of Japan, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. Following the Japanese surrender, he completed his service as part of the American post-war occupation force in Korea.

     Returning from duty, he purchased a small farm in Gentry County. On&nbsp;December 27, 1951 he married Leanna Ruth Thornton at the Alanthus Baptist Church, and together they lived and worked on the farm until they retired in 1985. After retirement, they lived in Ravenwood. Charles moved to Pine View Manor in 2019.

     He was a member of Parnell Post 0528 of the American Legion and the First Baptist Church of Stanberry.

     Charles was preceded in death by his parents, George and Jesse Hern Goodson; three brothers, Kelton, Russell, and Laton Goodson; two sisters, Helen Jensen and Susie Warriner; and his wife, Leanna Goodson.

     Charles is survived by a son, Todd Goodson (Lori Goodson) of Manhattan, KS; and two granddaughters, Ann Goodson Starnes of Olathe, KS and Caroline Goodson of McPherson, KS.

     Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.&nbsp;Friday October 25&nbsp;at Roberson Funeral Home, Stanberry with Funeral Services to follow at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service with Military Rites will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ravenwood, MO.

Roger Lee Knadler, 82, Easton, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024.

He was born February 24, 1942 in St. Joseph to Herbert and Lela (Rapp) Knadler.

Roger married Genevieve “Joyce” Martin on November 16, 1968. She preceded him in death on February 19, 2020.

He was a member of Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the MFA, and the Eagles Lodge for 50 years.

Roger enjoyed farm toys and pedal tractors, and loved going to sales. He loved farming and loved his family.

He enjoyed participating in antique tractor pulling. His last antique tractor pull he participated in was September of 2023 in Easton, Missouri, where he proudly won first place on his John Deere 6030.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Joyce; his parents; and his sister, Janet Faye Haley.

Survivors include daughters, Jennifer Roderick (Brian) and Kathy Kunze (Chris), all of Easton, Missouri; grandchildren, Jake Roderick, Jaycie Kunze, Brett Roderick, and Rylee Kunze; siblings, Jerry Knadler (Debbie) and Herbie Knadler (Judy).

Cathy J. Haynie, 68, Weatherby, Missouri, formerly of Woodland, California, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 after a very short battle with Leukemia. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was born October 30, 1956 to Arlie V. and Shirley S. (Morse) Fann in Woodland, California.

She graduated from Woodland High School in 1974.

She married Walter Louis Haynie on September 15, 1975 and recently celebrated 50 wonderful years together.

Cathy worked as an Administrative Supervisor for Parks and Recreation for Woodland, California. She retired just shy of 30 years. Prior to being an Administrative Supervisor, she worked as a waitress at the Corkwood Restaurant in Woodland, California for 20 years.

Cathy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Debra Fann.

Survivors include her husband, Walter; children, Tami Haynie, Chrystal Quam (Jordan); grandchildren, Allen Green, Matthew Green, Andrew Green, and Waylon Quam; brother, Steven Fann; niece, Tyler Wheeler; and nephew, Jordan Fann.

Robinson, KS &nbsp; &nbsp;Michael L. “Mike” Rowell, 67, of Robinson, died October 17, 2024 at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.

Mike was born at Falls City, Nebraska, December 15, 1956, the son of LaVern and Catherine Liberty Rowell.

He worked at Flair Fold in Hiawatha, Ks until 1995 which is where he met his wife Mindy. They were married in Hiawatha, at her family's house, on June 24, 1995. He later worked for Mac Processing in Sabetha until 2017.

During his school years, he attended Gracemor School in his younger years. He also attended Topping Intermediate School. He graduated from Southeast Consolidated School in 1975. After high school, he attended Peru Stare College, on a football scholarship where he participated in plays and musicals. He joined the Nebraska National Guard in 1982 for a time.

Some of his hobbies include; hunting and fishing with his dad, bowling, softball. He also Loved Karaoke!!

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Dennis and Kerry Rowell, and a Father in Law Jack Crumb.

He is survived by his wife Mindy; his children: Rachel (Lee), Jacklyn Miller (Alex), and son Scott; also by his Mother in Law Mary Crumb and Father in Law Lynn Rash, and nine grandchildren.

Services are planned for 6 p.m. Thursday, October 24, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha. Butch Liberty of Kansas City will officiate. &nbsp;Cremation is to follow service with private family burial of remains at the Barada, Nebraska Cemetery.&nbsp;

Michael L. "Mike" Rowell 1956 - 2024

Darren Lee Hart, 60, of Wood Heights, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at his place of business. Darren was born on November 9, 1963, in St. Joseph, Missouri to Robert Lee and Margaret (Dye) Hart. Darren’s life revolved around Christ, Automotive, and Family.

Darren actively attended the First Baptist Church in Wathena, Kansas. He previously served on the Church Board at Liberty Church of the Nazarene. Throughout his journey, Darren participated in numerous missionary trips, dedicated to spreading the message of Christ. During his time in Africa, he not only shared his faith but also assisted local citizens in repairing their motorized scooters.

Darren began his career at Federal Sign, working alongside his father. From there he then moved to a mechanics shop, Stucky’s in Kearney, Missouri. This is where he discovered his true passion for automotive work. Darren first opened the doors to Hart’s Auto Repair in Liberty, Missouri in 1989. It started as a small two-bay shop, where he quickly became successful and expanded into multiple bays and various locations.

While expanding his businesses, Darren dedicated himself to enhancing his education and expertise. He obtained all ASE certifications, graduated from Dale Carnegie, and has held his Master Mechanic certification for over 35 years. Additionally, he became a member of the Automotive Service Association.

Throughout his career, Darren has always been committed to helping others. He participated in a Saturday morning talk show that addressed automobile repair questions for the community, taught vocational technology in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and collaborated with 101 the Fox and the Late Slacker on the Cars 4 Heroes initiative.

Darren married Kathy Stansil on August 25, 2018, in Gladstone, Missouri. She survives of the home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret on February 13, 2021.

From there he then moved to a mechanics shop, Stucky’s in Kearney, Missouri. This is where he discovered his true passion for automotive work. Darren first opened the doors to Hart’s Auto Repair in Liberty, Missouri in 1989. It started as a small two-bay shop, where he quickly became successful and expanded into multiple bays and various locations.While expanding his businesses, Darren dedicated himself to enhancing his education and expertise. He obtained all ASE certifications, graduated from Dale Carnegie, and has held his Master Mechanic certification for over 35 years. Additionally, he became a member of the Automotive Service Association.Throughout his career, Darren has always been committed to helping others. He participated in a Saturday morning talk show that addressed automobile repair questions for the community, taught vocational technology in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and collaborated with 101 the Fox and the Late Slacker on the Cars 4 Heroes initiative.Darren married Kathy Stansil on August 25, 2018, in Gladstone, Missouri. She survives of the home. Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Atchison, with Rev. Meinrad Miller, OSB as celebrant. A rosary will be at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home on Monday, Oct. 21st at 6:00 p.m. with visitation to follow until 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Benedict Parish. Lola was born on September 21, 1934, in Leavenworth, KS, the daughter of Joseph Inojos and Carmen (Gutierrez) Inojos. She graduated from Immaculata High School. Shortly after graduation she moved to Atchison and started working at Kresge’s in Atchison where she met Gilbert. They united in marriage on July 28, 1956, and shared over sixty-six years of marriage before his passing on August 22, 2022. Lola devoted her life to her family as a wife, mother, homemaker and then grandma. She loved going dancing with Gilbert in their younger years. Lola also enjoyed walking in the mornings with her friends, Mrs. Dolly Hiner and Mrs. Helen Lopez. When Daylight Donuts came to Atchison, they walked to the donut shop and that’s where you would see them every morning. When Gilbert retired, he joined them but they rode instead. Lola looked forward to every summer when her two grandsons from Texas would come to spend the summer with her and Gilbert. To date these grandsons still love going to the donut shop.&nbsp;

She is survived by her children, a daughter, Lisa Vargas, Fort Worth, TX; two sons, Jim (Karen) Gasper, Bonner Springs, KS, Anthony “Tony” Gasper, Atchison, KS; one brother, William (Betty) Inojos, Leavenworth, KS; six grandchildren, Ricky Gasper, Lance Gasper, Nico Gasper, Kyler Vargas, Keegan Vargas, Doug Landrum; and four great grandchildren, Octavian Gasper, Roman Gasper, Eli Gasper and Katelyn Landrum.&nbsp;

Esther Mae Flohrs, 74, of Atchison, Kansas, met her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, at Amberwell Atchison while surrounded by family.

Esther was born on June 15, 1950, to Alvin and Susan (Payton) Eylar. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1968. She married Jim Kahl in 1968, then divorced in 1977. Esther was remarried to Paul Flohrs in 1982, was separated in 1983, and later divorced. Esther was proud to work for the Missouri Pacific Railroad and Fox-Vliet Drug Company. She also worked various other positions before settling into her career in 2001 at Citibank, where she retired in December 2012. Throughout her life, Esther was a devout Christian. Esther was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church congregation in Atchison and participated in Bible Study Groups in her assisted living home. She firmly and passionately believed in God and ensured her children knew God as well. Esther fiercely loved her children and grandchildren and supported them unwaveringly. Of all her accomplishments, she was most proud to be called Grandma.

Esther is survived by her mother, Susan Eylar; her children, Kassie Fedrick and Rob Beaman, Melody and Travis Breeden, Angela and Scott Davison, and Katherine Long; her grandchildren, Lauren Fedrick and Landen, Hudson, Bennett, and Grayson Breeden; and her siblings, LeRoy Eylar and Elana, Judith “Judy” Harris and Chuck, Eugene “Gene” Eylar and Terri, and Betty Sue Roth and Bryan. Donald Eugene Cox, 88, Amazonia, Missouri, passed away at home on Thursday, October 17, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

Don was born in Horton, Kansas, on July 21, 1936, to Jesse Paul and Viola (Keller) Cox. He graduated from Horton High School, then went on to serve his country in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, Don worked for National Cash Register, in Saint Joseph, Missouri, for 25 years.

It was during this time, he met the love of his life, Peggy Ann LaHue. They were married on January 10, 1972.

In 1982, Don purchased a lumber mill in the hills of Arkansas, where he manufactured log homes until 2005. In 2007 he retired to Amazonia, Missouri, and spent his days working in his aronia berry fields, fishing, hunting, and golfing.

Don was raised to Master Mason in St. Joseph Lodge #78 in 1961. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite and Moila Shrine Temple. While in Arkansas, he joined Ashley Lodge #66, as a dual member, where he served as Master from 1997 to 2000.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul Frederick Cox and Jesse Floyd Cox; and son, Darren Cox.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Peggy Cox; sons, Donald R. (Kellie) Cox and Douglas (Mary) Cox, all of Saint Joseph; brother, Gary (Sandi) Cox, of Topeka, Kansas; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, who lovingly called him "Pappy"; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Charles Anthony Rehm, 68, of Warsaw, MO passed away Saturday, October 13, 2024 at NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO after a brief illness.

Charles was born July 18, 1956 in St. Joseph, MO. He was the son of Helen Cobb Rehm and the late Thomas Rehm.

Charles was married to Lisa Schroeder on November 15, 1986. They celebrated more than 37 years of marriage.

Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend to many. He loved retirement and living at the lake. He enjoyed his boating and fishing, woodworking, and watching the Chiefs.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa, of the home; son Kyle (Chrissy) Rehm; sisters Linda (Raymond) Karleskint, Julie (Randy) Moran, Stacy (Jeff) Stevens and brother Mike (Cecilia) Rehm; granddaughters Jaycelyn Rehm, Braylyn Rehm, Haylyn Rehm, and several nieces and nephews.

William "Bill" F. Craig, 70, of St Joseph, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at a local health care facility. He was born August 15, 1954 in Atchison, KS, son of Iris and Freddie Craig. 

Bill worked for many years in the Auto Body Repair Industry. He enjoyed watching the KC Chiefs and TV Westerns. He also enjoyed fishing and working in the garden, especially with his late wife Cyndi.

 Bill was preceded in death by wife, Cynthia Craig, his parents and brothers, Donald and Raymond Skeen. 

Survivors include daughters, Jennifer Oden of Atchison, KS and Rebecca (Terry) Schmidt of Nortonville, KS, son, Jamie Craig of San Antonio, TX, sisters, Iris (John) Martin of Boonville, MO, Judy (Gary) Weekly of Topeka, KS, Nancy (Willie) Christman of Wathena, KS, Ramona Hundley of Falls City, NE, Patricia Bittle of St. Joseph, and Jean Baker of Atchison, KS., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces.

Laton Dean Allison, age 79, passed away on October 15, 2024, leaving behind a lifetime of laughs, lessons, adventures, memories and a legacy as big as his personality. 

      Born on October 27,1944 to Herbert and Helen Allison, Laton was a true original, known for his intelligence, quick wit, generous spirit, and occasional hot temper.

      He was predeceased by his parents, niece Becky Lindeman, nephew Scott Lindeman and cherished wife of more than 57 years, Janet Lee Allison, who he married on August 12, 1966, in the First Christian Church in Stanberry. He survived by his sister, Melba Gail Lindeman (Doug) and his beloved children Tracy Lee Boone (Tom) and Craig Tyler Allison (Marci). Laton was also the treasured “Gramps” to Sally Boone, Jane Boone, Henry Boone, Charlie Boone, and Joseph Allison. He was endlessly proud of the people his children and grandchildren grew up to be.

     After earning his civil engineering degree in 1962 from Missouri School of Mines (now Missouri S&amp;T), Laton began his career as a Flight Structures Engineer at Boeing Co. of Wichita, KS, working on the Boeing 737 airplane in 1965. In 1967, he joined the local Army Reserve Transportation Company and eventually transferred to the Missouri National Guard 129th field artillery Company A in Albany Missouri in 1968 and was discharged as an E-5 Sergeant in the fire direction unit in 1974. During that time, in 1969, he returned to his hometown to run Allison Concrete Products alongside his father. Allison Concrete Products was in business for 53 years and produced more than 66 million blocks before the two retired and sold the business in 2000. 

     Laton wasn’t very good at being retired and was always willing to step up when his community needed him, serving on the Board of Albany Hospital, Stanberry Board of Public Works, and Pine View Manor Board. He was a volunteer pilot for Angel Flights, flying families to visit their loved ones in hospitals, and the general contractor for the construction of the new Stanberry R-II School. Laton was a proud flight instructor, Cub Scout leader, Science Olympiad Tutor, lifetime member of the Stanberry Golf Course, Grand Marshall of the Fourth of July Parade, and one of the founding members of Wingnuts Flying Club. 

     Laton leaves behind a family who will forever miss his booming voice, spontaneous history lessons, and his fierce passion. His legacy of generosity, goofiness, and maybe just a bit of yelling lives on in every person whose life he touched. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten—after all, you don’t forget someone like Laton Allison.

In 1967, he joined the local Army Reserve Transportation Company and eventually transferred to the Missouri National Guard 129th field artillery Company A in Albany Missouri in 1968 and was discharged as an E-5 Sergeant in the fire direction unit in 1974. During that time, in 1969, he returned to his hometown to run Allison Concrete Products alongside his father. Allison Concrete Products was in business for 53 years and produced more than 66 million blocks before the two retired and sold the business in 2000. Laton wasn’t very good at being retired and was always willing to step up when his community needed him, serving on the Board of Albany Hospital, Stanberry Board of Public Works, and Pine View Manor Board. He was a volunteer pilot for Angel Flights, flying families to visit their loved ones in hospitals, and the general contractor for the construction of the new Stanberry R-II School. Laton was a proud flight instructor, Cub Scout leader, Science Olympiad Tutor, lifetime member of the Stanberry Golf Course, Grand Marshall of the Fourth of July Parade, and one of the founding members of Wingnuts Flying Club. Laton leaves behind a family who will forever miss his booming voice, spontaneous history lessons, and his fierce passion. His legacy of generosity, goofiness, and maybe just a bit of yelling lives on in every person whose life he touched. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten—after all, you don’t forget someone like Laton Allison.

Rose Hutchens, 70, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

She was born March 17, 1954 in St. Joseph to Calvin and Elsie (Dilly) Starling.

Rose married Norman Kerry Hutchens. They later divorced but remained friends.

She was an ornery, colorful, outgoing woman who loved music, especially the Beach Boys.

Rose loved her family and her dog, Fireball.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Bill and Vernon Starling.

Survivors include her children, Michelle Bruce and Kerry Norman Hutchens; grandchildren, Beonca, Brecken and Ariel Hobson, and Cort Norman Hutchens; great-grandchildren, Lee Ann Hobson, Mallory and Jada Sullivan; siblings, her twin brother, Jimmy, twins Linda and Wendell Starling, Randy Starling, Calvin Starling, and Sheila Boone; her former husband; numerous other extended family members and friends; her best friend, Sandy Thomas; and her beloved dog, Fireball.

Maysville, Missouri…Sharon Elaine Wade, age 68, was born December 26, 1955 the daughter of Duane and Anna Maureen Hunsaker in Fort Knox, Kentucky and went home to Jesus on October 15, 2024 while surrounded by her loved ones.&nbsp;

On October 5, 1974 she married Ronald Lynn Wade in Plattsburg, Missouri. Sherry worked many years for Casey’s General Store as the Area Supervisor until she retired in 2013. Sherry was the rock of her family, always there for her kids and grandkids no matter what. Always everyone’s biggest supporter, especially when it came to any sport they were involved in. When it came to her grandkids, they always knew how much their “Nana” loved them and telling them all “I love you Always and Always.” A huge piece of this family is now watching over them all.

Wilma LaVelle Rand was born 8/30/1936 in Windsor, MO. She died on 10/12/2024. Her parents were Wilma (Moore) Rand and Charles Edwin Rand. She grew up in Carterville, MO. 

Her siblings are Charles Edwin Rand, Jr., Donna Rand and Keith Rand. Her daughter’s name is Donna (Fojas) McKown, her husband James Alan McKown. Her niece is Debi (Rand) Greek. Her grandson James Andrew McKown, his wife April (Smith) McKown, great grandchildren E.J. McKown and Emersyn McKown. Jeremy Alan McKown her grandson and his wife, Brittany (Rospierski) McKown.

She graduated from Carterville High School and was valedictorian of her class. She also attended Joplin Junior College.

Norman Glen Cook, Sr., 87, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

He was born July 25, 1937 to Levi L. and Lucille A. (Stigers) Cook in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Norman married Judy Ann Knadler on July 2, 1960.

He retired from the United States Army after proudly serving for 28 years.

He was a member of Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a Troop 25 Scout Master, and a Tribe of Mic-O-Say Honorary Warrior Star Travois.

Norman enjoyed spending his time square dancing with Judy. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Deborah Richardson; granddaughter, Caitlin Cook; siblings, Homer and Maxine Cook.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years; sons, N. Glen Cook (Lana) and Daniel Cook (Dawn), and Bruce Cook; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Ruby Warner, 96 of St. Joseph, Mo. peacefully passed away surrounded by family at her home on October 13, 2024; Ruby was the seventh of 9 children born to Carl and Elsie Stuart. She graduated from Rosendale High School before marrying John Warner in 1949. He preceded her in death in 1978, along with all of her siblings, her grandson Eric Christgen and son-in-laws William Healy and Jerry Ham.

Ruby had fourchildren, Dixie Ham, Vicki Christgen (Ed), Larry Warner and Janette Healy. Eleven grandchildren: Jason Ham (Cydney), Douglas Ham (Kristen), Dustin Ham (Miranda), Victoria Christgen, Tate Christgen (Lauren), Chris Christgen (Tammy), Brian Christgen, Katie Warner, Savannah Healy, Brianna Roppoli (Kevin), Emerson Healy and 13 great grandchildren.

Ruby's entire life was based on family. First with her Mother, Father and her 8 siblings. They were a very close, loving family for all of their lives. &nbsp; Ruby was always the happiest with a child running around her while she cooked. She absolutely loved cooking, especially big family meals. Her biggest smiles were being with her family with a baby on her lap. She beamed when she was with her grand and great grandchildren.

When Ruby was 90 she moved to Country Squire and immediately started making friends and mischief. It was a wonderful, loving environment with a wonderful staff and loving friends. She had many challenging health conditions and the residents and the staff helped her face them with love and assistance.

Her family especially wants to thank the Country Squire staff, Mark, Marisa, Velvet, Jace, Cassie and all the loving employees who offered a helping hand, kindness and love.

Also we want to thank all the Freudenthal Ladies, Jennifer E, Donna, Trina, Lisa and Tina for their many hours of service and love. We also are so thankful for the love and service Tammy, our private caregiver, gave her day and night. &nbsp;

Ruby Warner 1927 - 2024

Gregory David Lundry Sr., born on the 8th of March, 1961, died at the age of 63, in his home on October 7th, 2024. 

He was proceeded in death by his parents, David and Leota Lundry, and his two grandchildren, Ryan Parris and Jesse Potter. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Keri Lundry and his dearest sisters Sandy (Darrell) Coons and Regina (David) Pfeiffer.

Greg was a loving husband to his cherished wife Keri and devoted to their children: Tonja (Devon) Scott, Tara Lundry, Gregory Lundry, Melanie (Donald) Green, Sarah (Ron) Hazen, Amanda (Billie) Tippit, Andrew Chilson, Joshua (Kelley) Chilson and the granddaughter they raised together in their blended family, Gabriella Lundry.

Together they have 38 wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. And many more nieces and nephews that have blessed their many long years together. 

Greg was not only an extremely dedicated man to his family, but that dedication and pride was also in his work. Through each step of his career, Greg formed deep connections, finding not just colleagues but lifelong friends who enriched his life. Greg’s warmth, humor, and loyalty left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege to know him.

He was always the one to have a smile on his face when he entered the room; someone who truly believed that no matter what, it would all be okay. He trusted in the faith he had for his family and friends with unconditional compassion. He will be dearly missed by all of those that were blessed to know him.

Agnes Marie (Dombrowe) Kiehnhoff, age 95, of Wathena, KS went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2024. Agnes was born on July 7, 1929, in Robinson, KS to Emil and Elise (Spiekerman) Dombrowe.

She was a life-long resident of Wathena. She was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Wathena. She was a member of Mary-Martha Circle and LWML.

Agnes married Henry Kiehnhoff, Jr., on September 16, 1950. &nbsp;To this union they were blessed with seven children.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son Donald, her brother Frank Dombrowe, sisters Ann Nimtz and Elsie Ruhnke.
