Dennis Michael Taylor 78, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at his home in St. Joseph, MO. He was born at home on April 7, 1945 in Savannah, MO, son of the late Marjorie and Harvey Taylor Sr. &nbsp;On December 28th, 1986 he married his best friend Pati Brown Taylor. &nbsp; They shared 38 years together before she passed in October, 2023. &nbsp;

Dennis served in the United States Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for Hulcher Services, where he traveled to work on derailed trains. &nbsp;He worked construction in his earlier years and then became the maintenance supervisor at Saxton Health Care for many years &nbsp;before enjoying retirement. &nbsp; He always had a project going on and loved working in his yard and had an awesome garden. &nbsp;Dennis knew how to run about any tool there was and was constantly fixing or building something. &nbsp;He was very handy and would help anyone with their projects too. Dennis enjoyed Nascar and had season tickets for several years at the Kansas Speedway. &nbsp;He was a huge Earnhart fan. &nbsp; He loved watching football and baseball as well. In the warmer months you'd find him out in his garage scrolling through the channels looking for some type of sport. &nbsp;

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Patricia Ann Taylor, son, Timothy G. Helsel, brothers, Steven, Tim, David, and Joe Taylor, and a sister, Pamela Sue Taylor. Lorene (Wheeler Woyski) Hogan, 103, of St. Joseph, MO passed away Thursday, February 8th at her home.

She was born September 1, 1920 in St. Joseph, MO to Alvie and Rose (Rosie Jenkins) Wheeler. &nbsp;She graduated from Benton High School in 1940.

She married George J. Woyski June 6, 1942. They lived and farmed near DeKalb, Mo. &nbsp;George was killed August 10, 1965 in a farm accident. &nbsp;July 23, 1970 she married Tom Hogan. &nbsp;They had a good life together. &nbsp;They traveled a lot and spent a lot of time with family. &nbsp;Tom died February 28, 2000. &nbsp;

She was also preceded in death by her parents Alvie and Rosie (Jenkins) Wheeler and stepmother Mae Wheeler, brothers Millard, Leon, Lawrence "Pete" and Ernie Wheeler, stepbrothers Gerald Compton and Louis "Buck" McQueen, stepsister Lila "Sissy" McCan, Grandson; Rhett Eckley and Granddaughter; Karrie Williams,sons-in-law Gary Kerns and Lawrence Sampson. &nbsp;

Jo Ann (Williams) Osborn, 89, of Savannah, MO, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.

She was born on November 5, 1934 in Pattonsburg, Mo., to the late Kenneth and Nina Williams.

She married John Richard Osborn on February 7, 1957.

Mrs. Osborn was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister; Reita Rae Danell and sister-in-law; Avis Livingston.

She is survived by her son; John (Toni) Osborn, granddaughters; Jessica and grandson; Joel all of Savannah, Mo.

Jo Ann attended Jameson High School and later went to business college. During her career, she was employed at Big Smith Company and the American Angus Association.

She was a member of the Long Branch Christian Church in Savannah.

She was born on September 8, 1956, in Atchison, Kansas, to Lloyd and Marjorie (Abbott) Cline.

She was a fan of “oldies but goodies” music, especially Def Leppard. A cherished memory for Glynda was attending one of their concerts with her niece, Tina.

Glynda loved being out in the countryside and the farm, enjoying the beauty of nature. Her favorite flowers were lilacs.

Glynda loved cats, particularly her fur-babies, Boomer, who preceded her in death, and Journey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one nephew and one great-nephew.

Survivors include her brothers, Rick Cline (Marlene) and Terry Cline (Jonna), four nieces and nephews, nine great nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece.

Joy Cole, 86, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1937, to Hugh E. and Julia F. (Norris) Taylor in Savannah, Missouri.

She graduated from Savannah High School, and later earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from Missouri Western State University and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Missouri- Kansas City.

Joy married Billy Dean Cole on May 27, 1955. After 67 years together, Billy preceded her in death on October 18, 2022.

She worked as a counselor for Catholic Charities and was a member of the Wyatt Park Baptist Church.

Joy was the youngest of ten children, all who preceded her in death.

She loved her family and all of its’ activities. Christmas was her favorite holiday as it brought the entire family together each year. Joy also took great pride in her immaculate garden and had a great appreciation of nature.

Survivors include her children, Dr. Nancy Stonner (Kevin), Norma Cole (Dr. Tom McCarthy), Mary Cole Benson (Todd), and Thomas Cole (Katherine); grandchildren, Geoffrey Stonner, Eric Stonner (Annalisa), Keegan (Chelsea) and Kyle McCarthy (Jennifer), and Abigail Cole and Adam Cole; and great-grandchildren, Kaela and Kinley McCarthy, Breclan and McKenna McCarthy, and Henry, Michael and Samuel Stonner.

Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Harvey, 90, of Savannah, MO, passed from this life to her precious Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Living Community in St. Jospeh, MO. She was born on December 5, 1933, to Lloyd and Helen (Reno) Harvey on their family farm between Savannah and Amazonia, MO.

Betty graduated from Savannah High School in 1951 and started her working career. From 1963 to 1985 she was employed at St. Joseph Production Credit Association (PCA) as a bookkeeper. When PCA merged with the Federal Land Bank Association to become Farm Credit Systems, Betty assisted with the organization’s relocation to Warrensburg, MO in 1986 and moved there to work as their treasurer and accountant, staying until 1989. At that time, after 25 years with Farm Credit, she took early retirement and moved back to Savannah. In November of 1992 she began her last job, this time in the Andrew County Courthouse in Savannah as a court clerk in the Associate Circuit Court office. She retired from the Andrew County Courthouse and the State of Missouri on February 28, 1999. In her free time Betty enjoyed participating in competitive softball, attending state bowling tournaments, serving various churches, traveling, and doting on her nieces, nephew, and other members of her extended family.

Survivors include her nieces, Laurie (Frank) Valenzuela of Savannah, Becky Rotterman of Country Club, MO, and Sherry Norris of Youngsville, NC; nephew, Adam Latham of Maryville, IL; cousin, Jan Zembles of Columbia, MO; numerous great and great-great nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rose Latham.

Don T. Morris, 90, cherished father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on February 8, 2024. He was born on October 14, 1933, in St. Joseph, MO, to Thomas and Estella A. (Richie) Morris.

Don's lifelong partnership with his wife, Shirley Jean Mallory, began on July 4, 1952, and they shared a loving marriage until her passing on December 1, 2011.

For over five decades, Don dedicated his life to being an electrician, reflecting his strong work ethic and mastery of his trade. He was a proud and active member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 545. His commitment to fraternity was further exemplified through his involvement with the Scottish Rite, Moila Shriners, and King Hill Masonic Lodge where he was honored as a 32nd Degree Mason.

He also had a love of riding motorcycles, embracing the joy and freedom of the open road.

Don is lovingly remembered by Donna Mallory who survives of the home; children, Kyle Morris (LaVonne) and Cheryl Admire (Steve); 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Don was reunited in death with his parents, wife Shirley, children Donald Morris and Susan McCauley, and his grandchild Joseph Admire.

Steven “Steve” Myers, 75, St. Joseph, passed away February 8 at home surrounded by the love of his family. Steve was born in Murphysboro, Illinois on August 21, 1948, to Glen and Ruth (Twyman) Myers.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Ruth; daughters, Angela Lehan (Chris) Olathe, KS, and Lauretta Hewlett (Demetrius) Olathe, KS; grandsons Milo Lehan, Damian and Desmond Hewlett; brother John Myers (Janet) Forth Worth, TX; nephew Shawn Myers (Amy) Fort Worth, TX; cousin Yvonne Jacobs Sullivan, IN; and extended family.

Steve reunites with his parents; brothers, Riley and David Myers; sister-in-law Diane Myers.

Steve grew up in Overland, MO, a suburb of St. Louis. He had a good childhood and graduated from Ritenour High School. Steve attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, majoring in biology and earning his Bachelor of Arts degree. Steve then attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor earning his Master of Science in forestry and worked for the U.S. Forest Service. Steve returned to Missouri earning his Ph.D. in Entomology at the University of Missouri, Columbia.

Steve moved to St. Joseph in 1980 to begin his career as an entomologist starting an agricultural research and consulting company. It was in St. Joseph that Steve met Ruth Lawrence, the love of his life. They married on March 14, 1987, and shared a wonderful life journey together. They were blessed with two daughters. Steve and Ruth worked together for their business, MKI Ag Research LLC until Steve’s retirement in 2018. Most of the research plots were done at the family farm in Oregon, MO. Steve loved his workplace, the farm.

Steve was a wonderful father, actively involved in his daughters’ lives. He continually showed his unwavering support, encouragement, and love. His girls always felt and knew he was there. He thought the sweetest word he could hear was Daddy, until his grandsons called him Papa. The deep love and joy he had for them was met with adoration for him in return. Life was also enriched by gaining two sons-in-law.

Steve was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church, serving over the years on Church Council, Lay Leader, in the Discovery Class, Upward basketball coach, Family Ministries, and with the help of many volunteers, lead the Parkway Elementary tutoring program for 10 years.

A good start to Steve’s day always included a morning cup of coffee. He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan. Steve treasured the companionship of dogs and had one by his side throughout his life until the recent loss of his blue-heeler, Brizzie. Steve, Ruth, and family have cherished time together over the years at Table Rock Lake, fishing, boating, and taking in the sunsets. Steve loved being outdoors and found a few minutes each day to appreciate his surroundings. He especially loved the experiences of family travels.

After his blood cancer diagnosis, Steve continued to show strength, resilience, and grace during this season of his life. His constant selfless acts of love are forever in his family’s hearts. He will be greatly missed.

Farrell Snyder, 85, recently of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha.&nbsp;

Farrell was born in the family home outside of Morrill on November 2, 1938. He attended school locally, meeting the love of his life, Judy Stowell, while playing quarterback against her high school’s football team. That beautiful, lively cheerleader caught his eye and they married on August 9, 1958. &nbsp;(We never did learn which team won that game!)

Farrell and his new bride moved to Topeka after their wedding, where he wrote computer software for Blue Cross Blue Shield. &nbsp;Nine years and 3 children later, he moved his family to Prairie Village, Kansas and spent the next 25 years writing computer software for Southwestern Bell Telephone and raising his family. &nbsp;During that time, he moved his family to DeSoto, KS, then St. Louis, Mo, and later to Hiawatha and then Mayetta after his retirement. &nbsp;Finding retirement rather boring, he took a part-time job at St. Ann’s Church in Hiawatha. &nbsp;Needing further distraction, he and Judy started breeding alpacas to go along with Judy’s horses. After Judy passed in 2016, Farrell moved to Topeka and spent his remaining years there.&nbsp;

Farrell is survived by his children and grandchildren: &nbsp;Kerry (Parrish) Meredith of Overland Park, KS; Kent (Amy) Snyder of Holton; and Kellie (Mike) Brockhoff of Fairview. &nbsp;His five grandchildren are (in order of age): Rael Meredith, Charles Snyder, Kelcy Snyder, Casey Zangaro, and Megan Brockhoff. &nbsp;His sister-in-law, Phyllis Stowell, SCL, also survives.&nbsp;

Farrell was preceded in death by his wife, Judith, his parents, Virgil and Iva Snyder, his brothers Bob and Doug Snyder, and his sister, Donna Rosenberger.&nbsp;

Juanita Kay Kendall was born on March 26, 1954 in Rock Port, Missouri to Charles and Mary Jane (Guilliams) Wooten. She passed away on February 9, 2024 at a Maryville, Missouri care center at the age of 69.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Franklin Kendall.

Survivors include her twin sister, Raye, and sisters, Tina, Caroline, and Midge; brothers, Austin, Bob, and David; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

She passed away on February 9, 2024 at a Maryville, Missouri care center at the age of 69.Kay was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Franklin Kendall.Survivors include her twin sister, Raye, and sisters, Tina, Caroline, and Midge; brothers, Austin, Bob, and David; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.<figure>

Maysville, Missouri……Debra “Debbie” Lavonne Rhoad, age 64, was born November 24, 1959, in St. Joseph, Missouri, and passed away February 7, 2024, in St. Joseph, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family.

Debbie and Donnie Rhoad were united in marriage on June 6, 1997, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Debbie worked at Sunset Home in Maysville as a CNA most of her life.

Debbie enjoyed taking trips with Donnie, especially the multiple trips to Disney World, the casinos, and Las Vegas. She loved being outside working in her garden and flower beds, going on walks and car rides, and attending the races to watch Donnie, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Clarence Rhoad; mother-in-law, Ileene (Jim) Maynes; grandmother, Mary Eaton; and aunt, Jenny.

Survivors include her husband Donnie Rhoad of the home; children, Maddie Siders, Tina Clark, and Tyler Rhoad; brother-in-law, Danny (Emily) Rhoad; grandchildren, Austin, Emma, Haiyden, Paisley, Patrick, Josh and Chris; and numerous other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Maysville. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private family inurnment at Bethel cemetery will be held at a later date.

Catherin Laverna (Gann) Mink, 82, of Stewartsville, MO passed away, February 8, 2024.

She was born on February 6, 1942, to William Theodore and Edna Pearl (Wheeler) Gann in Easton, Missouri. She was a 1960 graduate of Easton High School.

On June 9, 1963 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Neil Mink. After their marriage they lived in Easton and later purchased a farm near Hemple where they raised their family and farmed 80 acres. With a growing family, she learned to make a little go a long way. She perfected her skills of baking bread and rolls, making jams, baking gooseberry pies and canning green beans. She milked cows, which was a chore she often spoke about from her childhood. She raised pigs, goats, sheep, chickens and horses. When she was not working on her farm, she helped with various jobs such as hanging wallpaper, babysitting, and was a compassionate caregiver to neighbors and friends in need. Her favorite pastimes included going to her children and grandchildren's school events and attending ALMOST EVERY auction in Northwest Missouri. She enjoyed farm life to the fullest. Catherin was a dedicated wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend of 58 years Lawrence Mink, her parents Edna and Theodore Gann, brothers, Lewis, John, Ival, Dennis and Billy Gann, sister Betty Jo and her beloved little sister Nancy Viola Gann.&nbsp;

Catherin is survived by her children, Eric Mink, Rachel (Mark) Rush, Amy Saxton (Scott Herring), Monica Mink, Jason (Becky) Mink, and Amanda (Dennis) Jung; grandchildren, Montana (Hannah) Rush, Jackson Rush, Michael (Hannah) Saxton, Sarah (Grant) Herbel, Hannah Saxton, Andy, Adam, Gracie, Gus, Clara, Cecilia, and Hugh Mink, Niki (Dalton) Fogle, and Wyatt and Wade Jung; great grandchildren, Bellamy and Creek Rush, Liam Herbel, Abigail Saxton and Jayden and Maverick Fogle. Tracy Lynn Brull, of Effingham, KS, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Tracy was born on October 21, 1971, to Leonard and Deann (Kearney) Wehking. She attended Atchison County Community Schools where she made many life-long friends. She graduated from ACCHS in 1990.

Tracy always had a love for helping people, so it is no surprise that she spent her whole career in a variety of customer service positions. She began her career at Blue Cross and Blue Shield where she learned about insurance. She later used that knowledge to be a great resource to patients at the Atchison Hospital and then at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. &nbsp;Tracy spent her most recent years at the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System, where she worked with a great team who loved her very much.

Tracy was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Effingham, Kansas and taught CCD when her sons were young. She also served on the Board of the Tiger Cub Football Club and spent most Saturdays in the stands, or the concession stand, rooting on her kids. She continued to provide service to the Tiger Cub Football Club even after her kids were older, helping her husband organize practices and equipment when he coached his nephews. As her sons moved to middle and high school, she continued cheering them on at the various sporting events.&nbsp;

Tracy was happiest when she was cooking for others. She was often the first to volunteer to provide a meal when one of her friends or family members had a party, special event, illness or death in the family. &nbsp;She loved to entertain guests, but she was often known to let them know when it was time to go home due to the chance of a “severe storm”. Tracy enjoyed reading and watching movies. &nbsp;She was a huge movie buff and could always tell you the names of actors and the movies they were in. &nbsp;She enjoyed taking ranger rides with her friends and family, which is where you could find her most weekends when the weather was nice. &nbsp;Nobody ever wondered what Tracy was thinking because she was quick to tell you. But that is truly what people loved most about her. &nbsp;Tracy was best described as the nicest, grumpy person you have ever met.

Tracy married the love of her life, Jeff Brull on November 22, 1997, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Atchison, Kansas. &nbsp;Together they raised two amazing sons, Branson and Brayden. Her sons were her pride and joy. Taking care of Jeff and her boys was what mattered most to her. &nbsp;Whether it was packing lunches, warming up vehicles on cold days, or staying up late to make sure that needed uniform was clean, she was willing to do it.

Tracy is survived by Jeff, her husband of 26 years, two sons, Branson and Brayden of Lancaster, Kansas, her mother Deann Wehking, Valley Falls, Kansas, her mother-in-law, Marilyn Brull, Atchison, Kansas, two sisters, Carla (Dave) Howe, Holton, Kansas, and Angela (Kelly) Gatzemeyer, Valley Falls, two brothers-in-law, Mark (Brenda) Brull, Atchison, Kansas, and Brian (Christie) Brull, Effingham, Kansas, two nieces, four nephews, two great-nephews and more family and friends than you can count. Tracy was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Wehking, her father-in-law, Jim Brull, and an infant brother, Monte Wehking.&nbsp;

Tracy’s life will be celebrated on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Benedict Church in Atchison, with Rev. Jeremy Heppler, OSB as celebrant. She will be laid to rest at Mt. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1943. Virginia was an assistant cook in the dietary department at the Atchison Hospital. She was a member of the Riverbend Bible Church and helped at the Shepherd Center. Throughout the years Virginia has collected butterfly trinkets, and music boxes but her most treasured collection was her dolls. She enjoyed traveling, dancing with her husband to a live band, and the occasional margarita. Virginia also adored spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

&nbsp;Virginia first married John Willmeth, he preceded her in October of 1966. She then married Leo F. King on February 20, 1969; he preceded on January 6, 2016. She is survived by five daughters, Barbara Wood, Atchison, KS, Linda (Mike) Piper, Atchison, KS, Mary Merrill, Atchison, KS, Shirley (Bill) Wyland, Atchison, KS, Frances (Gary) Mason, Atchison, KS, one son, Larry King, Lexington, MO, a daughter-in-law Dee King, Portsmouth, VA, eighteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and an abundant number of great-great grandchildren.&nbsp;

Cecil Harold Thornton Jr. 91, of Savannah, MO, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 in a St. Joseph, MO health care center. He was born July 30, 1932 in Doniphan County, Kansas, son of the late Helen &amp; Cecil Thornton Sr.

Carlene Claire Moran, 72, of St. Joseph, passed away February 10, 2024. &nbsp;Carlene was born August 1, 1951, in St. Joseph, to Mathias Lloyd and Maude Esther (Inscho) Marx.

She attended St. Mary's Grade School and was a graduate of Bishop LeBlond High School.

She had worked for Dr. Childress' office and Billies Unique Boutique.

Carlene married William Moran in April of 1978 and he survives. &nbsp;Also surviving are a son Lee Nathan Moran; daughter Michelle Moran; granddaughters, Whitney Moran, Madison Moran; two great-granddaughters Bella, Lucille; sisters Deanna Marx, Carol Marx-Ruth (Rich Ruth); and nieces, Emily and Rosalind Ruth.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers and interior decorating.

Carlene Claire Moran 1951 - 2024

Clarence B. Miller, a cherished member of the St. Joseph, MO, community, passed away peacefully February 8, 2024 at Mosaic Life Care.

He was born August 24, 1928 to John and Katherine Miller in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Clarence was a master glass blower at Roderick signs and 75 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Family was of utmost importance to Clarence. &nbsp;He shared a deep and loving partnership with his late wife Bessie Miller, from 1947 until her passing in 2010. &nbsp;The couple brought three wonderful children into the world, Ronald Miller, Kevin Miller and Lisa Miller. &nbsp;Clarence was also blessed with seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

His unending kindness, unwavering integrity, and deep love for his family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

Rest in peace Clarence. &nbsp;Your light continues to shine brightly, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing you. &nbsp;

Your legacy lives on in the countless lives you've touched with your love and kindness.

Services will be Friday, February 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith &amp; Sidenfaden Chapel. &nbsp;Burial will follow in the Helena Cemetery. &nbsp;Visitation will precede the service beginning at 12:00 Friday at the funeral home.

Miller, a cherished member of the St. Joseph, MO, community, passed away peacefully February 8, 2024 at Mosaic Life Care.He was born August 24, 1928 to John and Katherine Miller in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.Clarence was a master glass blower at Roderick signs and 75 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.Family was of utmost importance to Clarence. &nbsp;He shared a deep and loving partnership with his late wife Bessie Miller, from 1947 until her passing in 2010. &nbsp;The couple brought three wonderful children into the world, Ronald Miller, Kevin Miller and Lisa Miller. &nbsp;Clarence was also blessed with seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.His unending kindness, unwavering integrity, and deep love for his family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.Rest in peace Clarence. &nbsp;Your light continues to shine brightly, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing you. &nbsp;Your legacy lives on in the countless lives you've touched with your love and kindness.Services will be Friday, February 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith &amp; Sidenfaden Chapel. &nbsp;Burial will follow in the Helena Cemetery. &nbsp;Visitation will precede the service beginning at 12:00 Friday at the funeral home.<figure>

King City, MO: Loretta Jean Snuffer, 90, King City, MO passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Nodaway Nursing Home, Maryville, MO.&nbsp;&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She was born on January 20, 1934, near Darlington, Missouri, the oldest child of Clyde and Buena (Hall) Hill.&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Her early years were spent in Gentry and Nodaway counties until her marriage to Thomas Snuffer on April 23, 1955, in King City, MO. Following this she spent the remainder of her life in the Union Star and King City, MO areas where they raised their family. During this time, she was a member of Orchid Christian Church and later moved her membership to the King City Christian Church.&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Some of Jean’s interests through the years were helping with 4-H as a project leader, book club, painting and drawing, singing, and doing posters for the community theatre. She worked several jobs through the years with flower designing and then as a paraprofessional with the King City School District before retiring.&nbsp;&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; parents, Clyde and Buena; brothers, Jerry, Karan, and Keith Hill; son, Michael; granddaughter, Alaina Bashor Higgins, and great grandson, Bryan Templeman.&nbsp;&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Jean is survived by her daughters, Marsha (Clark) Bashor and Sara (Roger) Law; sons, Patrick and Jerry (Elaine) Snuffer; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.&nbsp;

Rhonda Jo Felt 59, of Agency, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024. She was born November 4, 1964 in St. Joseph, Missouri, daughter of the late Beverly &amp; Eugene Swoboda. She graduated from Wathena High School, worked at E-Z Money Loan as a cashier. She enjoyed knitting, reading, playing games, and crossword puzzles. She was a Catholic. 

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Scott and Mark Swoboda, nephews, Kyle Juhl and Kent Sherlock, mother in law, Elsie "Nanny" Felt, and brother in law, Kenny Sherlock. She is survived by sons, Trevis and Matthew Felt of St. Joseph, MO, former husband, Bruce  Felt of Saint Joseph, MO, sister, Jeanan Sherlock of Dearborn, MO, brother, Curt (Tammy) Swoboda, Wathena, KS,  nieces, Tricia Sherlock-Dunham, Nancy Simmons, and Samantha Sherlock, beloved nanny for years and great aunt to Karahlynn &amp; Payton, other great nieces and nephews, Skylar, Addyson, Kayla &amp; Kinzie, her companion, Patrick Dreier, as well as numerous friends. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home. She will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home. &nbsp;

Donna was a homemaker and raised two children. She was a member of the PTA while her children were young, the mayor of Rushville, MO for four years, and member of the Sugar Creek Christian Church. Donna enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, working in the yard, and camping.&nbsp;

Survivors include one son Keith (Laurie) Hoover, Dekalb, MO, one daughter Amy (Steve) Enyart, Kansas City, MO, four grandchildren, Nathan Hoover, Erin Frakes, Cory Peck, and Austin Peck, and seven great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Delaney, Calvin Levi, Liam, Eliza, Sawyer, and Ayden and one sister Patty Hardesty, Omaha, NE. Donna is preceded in death by both of her parents and her husband.
