He was born March 4, 1960 in St. Joseph, son of Cecelia "Sue" Lieffring and Joseph Rivera. Taco married Margaret Clary on May 19, 2001. He spent many years working as a Truck Driver. Taco loved his Harley and going fishing. He always had a way to make you laugh.

He was preceded in death by father, Joseph Rivera, and step-father, William "Bill" &nbsp;Lieffring. Stuart Wynn Schneider, 65, Weston, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025.

He was born November 8, 1959 in St. Joseph to Richard and Beatrice (Kenyon) Schneider. Stuart grew up in St. Joseph and graduated from Benton High School, where he earned a varsity letter in running. He then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia.

After leaving MU, he worked on a farm for awhile then began a long career as an over-the-road truck driver, first for Keim and then in recent years at Old Dominion.

Stuart cherished time working on his 40-acre farm near Weston, Missouri, 20 acres of which were in the Missouri Conservation Department Wildlife Management Program, where he also got to be with his beloved dogs, Walter, Jacob and Shiloh.

When not at the farm, Stuart loved to go to auctions, scoping out and bringing home any cast-iron skillets and Red Wing pottery he could find, among many other unique treasures.

Stuart leaves a legacy as a loving dad and grandpa who loved time with family and friends. He had a special bond with his daughter and kindred spirit Abigail, who lovingly took care of him since his diagnosis and the final nine months in her home in Kansas City. The family is grateful to her for easing their father’s passage.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Schneider; and sister, Rissa Kay Glick.

Survivors include his mother, Beatrice Schneider; children, Amanda Klindt (Dustin), Hillary Davies (Chris), Abigail Ervie (Jeremy), and Courtney Schneider; grandchildren, Aleydis, Emsley, Oaklan, Icelyn, Elijah, Austin, Brooks, Avery, and Oliver; brother, Richard Schneider (Sharon); numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

He was a fourth Grader at Bedford Elementary School and participated in sports such as: Soccer, dance, wrestling, and football. He loved going to school, math, drawing, flowers, skipping rocks, and games.

Corbon will be greatly missed and survived by his immediate family: mother and father, Amanda and Micheal Curphey, along with his brothers, Connor and Carson Curphey. Diana Carlson, 79, of Smithville, MO passed away, June 6, 2025.

She was born on April 15, 1946 to Kenneth and Nana (Bunch) Vance in Kansas City, MO. On February 2, 1975 she was united in marriage to Richard Carlson. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City and in 1986 they moved to Smithville.

Richard and Diana owned and operated Omega Bookstore in Metro North Mall for 25 years.

She was a member of the River of Life Church for 30 years and recently a member of the Family Worship Center in Smithville.

Diana was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and daughter Deborah Ruth Carlson.

She is survived by her children, Rachel Carlson (Wendi Adams), Philip (Lab) Carlson, and Matthew (Lia) Carlson; grandchildren, Beatrix, Theodore, Izabellah, Edward, Magnolia, and August; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Burial was held at Second Creek Cemetery.

Lawrence Joseph Boos, of Atchison, Kansas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 68.&nbsp;

Lawrence, known to many as Larry, was born on October 18, 1956, to Clarence “Bud” Boos and Patricia “Pat” Boos, and was raised in Denton, Kansas. He attended Midway High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in business from Missouri Western State University. On June 3, 1988, he married the love of his life, Sheila Boos. Together, they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and family.

Larry was a man who found joy in the simple things—casting a fishing line on a quiet morning, camping under the stars, spending time in his garden, and cheering on his Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino and more than anything, treasured spending time with his family. His love of westerns was obvious from his collection of Stetsons, guns, and boots.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sheila Boos; his three children: daughter Abby Martin (Efrain), son Nicholas Boos, and daughter Lillian Paige Boos; and his six cherished grandchildren: Elijah Martin, Ean Martin, Alise Martin, Addalynn Martin, Lailie Duran, and Killian Hamilton.

Larry is also survived by his siblings: David Boos (Rita), Janet Boos, Jerry Boos (Carol), John Boos, Thomas Boos (Barbara), and Mark Boos; his cousin Diane Pickman (Steve); sister-in-law Victoria Hegarty; sister-in-law Mary Perkins (Joseph); brother-in-law Timothy Hegarty; and sister-in-law Terri Hegarty.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Patricia Scherer; and in-laws Patrick &amp; Lillian Hegarty, as well as Pat &amp; Julie Hegarty, and Michael Hegarty.

Larry’s life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Benedict Church in Atchison with Rev. Jeremy Heppler, OSB as celebrant. Judith ‘Judy’ Lee Beierle (née Gray), 82, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, in her home surrounded by loved ones.

Judy was born on November 29, 1942, in the city of St. Joseph, Missouri, to Carl and Eleanor Gray. She attended Benton High School in St. Joe and St. Joseph Junior College before graduating from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1964, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English and education. She worked as a teacher, a substitute teacher, and in retail. Judy loved playing bridge, Uno, and Scrabble throughout her life. In her younger years, she excelled in needle work, embroidery, and sewing. She sang in her church choir throughout her life and sang in the Bluebonnet Chorale of the Highland Lakes for many years after moving to the Hill Country.

Judy was known for her charismatic personality, sense of style, and her indomitable optimism. She loved reading, particular classic mysteries and historical fiction. She loved collecting antique furniture, figurines, and housewares. She loved animals, particularly cats and greyhounds.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Charles Beierle; her daughters, Robin Henning and Emily Beierle-McKaskle; and her grandchildren, Austin Henning, Abby Henning, Adeline McKaskle, and Henry McKaskle. She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Gray; her step-father, Marcus Caton; and her mother, Hope Eleanor Gray.

Judith ‘Judy’ Lee Beierle (née Gray), 82, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, in her home surrounded by loved ones.Judy was born on November 29, 1942, in the city of St. Joseph, Missouri, to Carl and Eleanor Gray. She attended Benton High School in St. Joe and St. Joseph Junior College before graduating from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1964, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English and education. She worked as a teacher, a substitute teacher, and in retail. Judy loved playing bridge, Uno, and Scrabble throughout her life. In her younger years, she excelled in needle work, embroidery, and sewing. She sang in her church choir throughout her life and sang in the Bluebonnet Chorale of the Highland Lakes for many years after moving to the Hill Country.Judy was known for her charismatic personality, sense of style, and her indomitable optimism. She loved reading, particular classic mysteries and historical fiction. She loved collecting antique furniture, figurines, and housewares. She loved animals, particularly cats and greyhounds.She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Charles Beierle; her daughters, Robin Henning and Emily Beierle-McKaskle; and her grandchildren, Austin Henning, Abby Henning, Adeline McKaskle, and Henry McKaskle. Christopher Michael Koon, 19, of Horton, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at his home.

He was born on September 17, 2005 in Topeka, the son of Michael and Gayleen Kreitzer Koon. &nbsp;He graduated from Onaga High School in 2024.

Survivors include his mother, Gayleen Koon (Joseph Roan) and his father, Michael Koon, all of Horton, his maternal grandmother, Carol Beaman, Topeka, his paternal grandmother, Kelly Koon, Horton, four sisters, Meaghan Harrison, Topeka, Reaghan Koon, Mayetta, Emily Carl, Horton and Lilly Carl, in Texas, and a brother, Austin Kreitzer, in Germany.

Survivors include sister Cynthia Simon; brother Cliff and Lysa Simon, aunts, Delila Paulus, Leanna Sandlin; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and cousins.

Wallace F. Furtado, 83, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025.

He was born July 27, 1941 in Carver, Massachusetts, to Noy and Carolyn (Gomes) Furtado. He grew up in Massachusetts, and after graduating from high school he proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant.

On May 10, 1975, Wallace married Dona Denise Young. They recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Wallace loved sports. He played baseball in his younger years, then coached men’s basketball while in the military, and later coached high school girls basketball in Massachusetts.

Wallace and Dona moved to St. Joseph in 2005 to be closer to family. They attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He was an outgoing man with very high standards, but more importantly, a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Brenda Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Dona; son, Michael (Kelly); grandchildren, Jalen, Maya, and Case Furtado; nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

Wallace Furtado July 27, 1941-June 29, 2025

Dean R. Hurlbut, 91, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, surrounded by his family in St. Joseph, MO. He was born July 22, 1933, in Raymond, SD, the son of Lester and Mattle Hurlbut. Dean married Gloria Darlene Pittman on October 22, 1960.

He was raised on a diversified farm near Raymond and began his lifelong relationship with the Angus breed, showing 4-H steers and heifers. He graduated from Raymond High School where he was very active in baseball and basketball. He attended South Dakota State University and graduated with a degree in Animal Science in 1956. While at SDSU he was a member of the Livestock and Meats Judging teams. He was elected to the Student Body Board of Control representing the Agricultural Students and was active in many campus activities. Following graduation, he became Assistant County Extension Agent in Brown County, Aberdeen, SD, working with the 4-H and youth programs.

Dean moved to St. Joseph, MO in 1957 to join the American Angus Association as the Director of Junior Activities. He held that position for 13 years after which he became the Director of Activities until his retirement in 2000, giving 43 years of service to the Association.

He was deeply involved and committed to Junior Angus Activities, devoting his time and energy to the leadership of many young Angus breeders across America. He was instrumental in organizing the State Junior Angus Associations that still exist today. He organized the first National Junior Angus Show in 1965 and the first National Junior Showmanship Contest in 1967. Both events constitute the largest single activity of the American Angus Association's junior programs. Their success always held a special place in his heart. The young people were a big inspiration to him throughout the years.

In 1991, Dean was inducted into the Angus Heritage Foundation for his contribution to the improvement of the Angus breed and the Angus business. The 44th annual All American Angus Breeders Futurity was dedicated in his honor in appreciation of more than three decades of his support and service to the Futurity. He always enjoyed the competition in both the adult and junior Angus shows. He was the recipient of the 1993 Dr. Newell Hicks Vision Award, which is presented by the North American International Livestock Marketeers, at the National Western Livestock Show and Rodeo in Denver, CO. The 2000 National Junior Angus show in Des Moines, IA was dedicated in his honor for his leadership role in junior Angus activities.

The American Angus Association recognized the family farm, Hurlbut Angus Farm, as a Historic Angus Herd in 1996 for having been a continuous producer of Registered Angus Cattle for 50 years.

Dean was a lifetime member of the American Angus Association and a member of the Missouri Angus Association. He was a 50-year member of the Mosaic Lodge of Raymond, SD, the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, St. Joseph, and Moila Shrine Temple of St. Joseph. He was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and a member of the Ashland United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid hunter and liked to fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim.

Survivors include his wife Gloria, 64 years, daughters, Stacy (Dennis) Jenkins, St. Joseph, MO, and Tracy (Ryan) Hurlbutt, Olathe, KS. Youvee “Bud” Babcock, 81, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025.

He was born December 7, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas to Youvee Babcock, Sr. and Laura (Schlonga) Babcock. Bud grew up in St. Joseph, and graduated from Christian Brothers High School in St. Joseph.

After high school, Bud served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Bud married Kathleen Burns on New Year’s Eve 1966. They celebrated more than 58 years together before his passing.

He was a lineman for St. Joseph Light &amp; Power for many years while also owning/operating Babcock Appliance on Messanie Street. Later he was in system operations for Kansas City Light &amp; Power before retirement.

An ornery guy who enjoyed giving others a good-natured hard time, Bud enjoyed the camaraderie and adventure of fishing trips to Canada and Florida.

Bud was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and loved his dog as well. He leaves a legacy of the importance of hard work and enjoying life along the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Allie and Maurice Babcock.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; children, Diane Jacobs and Christopher Babcock (Tobi Pendleton); grandchildren, Andrew (Gina), Chelsee, Abby, and Adee; great-granddaughters, Addilyn and Elliana; brother, Wayne Babcock (Denise); nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.

Heather Lynn Nicholas Willey, 53, of Trimble, MO passed away June 28, 2025.

She was born on February 15, 1972, in Kansas City, MO. Heather grew up in Trimble, MO and in 1990 she graduated from Plattsburg High School where she was a cheerleader, played softball and was in the school plays. Her lifelong dream was to be an actress in Hollywood. Heather later received her CNA Certificate.

Heather worked as a home health nurse and was a waitress. She enjoyed music, going to concerts, garage sales, watching several tv shows including tiny homes, court tv and soap operas. She was an amazing cook. Heather was a wonderful mom, always providing and caring for her three children and most of all she loved spending time with her six grandbabies who knew her as Gamma.

She was preceded in death by grandbaby Gracie Jamerson; her father Vincent Cammisano; and her grandparents Bill and Bernice Nicholas and Lloyd and Lydia Pigg.

Heather is survived by her children Mariah Nicholas, Max Nicholas (Mazeli) and Madyson Willey; grandbabies Maylee Rose Lynn, Vincent Daniel, Isabella Grace, Joey Vincent, Georgia Mae, and Giavanna Violet; her parents Dwaine and Dorothy “Dottie” Pigg; brothers Nick Pigg (Tracy) and Charlie Cammisano (Roxy); sisters Doris Cammisano, Cathy Cammisano and Anna Cammisano; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and many friends.

Heather grew up in Trimble, MO and in 1990 she graduated from Plattsburg High School where she was a cheerleader, played softball and was in the school plays. Her lifelong dream was to be an actress in Hollywood. Heather later received her CNA Certificate.Heather worked as a home health nurse and was a waitress. She enjoyed music, going to concerts, garage sales, watching several tv shows including tiny homes, court tv and soap operas. She was an amazing cook. Lawrence Vincent “Larry” Eckert, age 83, of Nortonville, Kansas, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, surrounded by his beloved wife and children on the very farm he loved and worked for decades.

Born during a blizzard on New Year’s Day near Effingham, Kansas, Larry entered the world with grit—so much snow fell that the midwife didn’t arrive until three days later. He was the son of Glen and Catherine Eckert, and one of six children raised on the family farm, where his lifelong love of tractors began. At just 13, he lost his mother to cancer, an early loss that shaped the strength and resilience he carried throughout his life.

Larry graduated from Atchison County Community High School in 1961 and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. He proudly served aboard the USS Saratoga during the Cuban Missile Blockade, on a European tour, and in the Vietnam War. A proud veteran, Larry wore his service with honor, often donning his veteran hats and shirts with pride.

On October 29, 1966, he married Sharon Blair at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Together they purchased a 120-acre farm outside Nortonville, where they built a life of hard work, dedication, and love. Larry raised crops, worked at the Pillsbury flour mill for 18 years, raised hogs, and eventually built the home where he and Sharon raised their family. Larry and Sharon were blessed with three children: Rich (Christie), Stacy, and Tiffany (Jaime). Later in life he became a grandfather to five: Kate, Wesley, Elizabeth, Jax, and Blaze—each of whom he proudly and endlessly supported in all their endeavors. Additional survivors include two sisters, Gelene August, and Dorothy Chandler. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers John and Jake Eckert, and one sister Mary Ann Sheeley.

Larry was a true steward of the land and a passionate fan of fast cars and green tractors. A lifelong John Deere man, he began with a JD 620 and grew his collection over the years. His garage also housed a lineup of muscle car legends, a few of which all earned family fame for nearly becoming a delivery room for each of his children. Whether cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, rooting for the Jayhawks, or simply bragging about his grandkids, Larry lived life with heart, humor, and horsepower.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Effingham, Kansas, with burial to follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery. Lunch will be served in the parish hall following the service. Flowers can be sent to St. Ann’s Church or donations can be made to the ACCHS Foundation in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who is handling the cremation services.

Tonja Jean Madden, 61, of Atchison, KS died on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at her home.

Tonja was born on December 9. 1963 in DeKalb, MO the daughter of Jack and Mary (Ostertag) Bains. She had worked as a display representative for Hallmark Cards. He was born September 10, 1966 in Kansas City, Kansas, to Paul Metzger and Carolee Rose Simmons.

Adam married Leslie Ivy, who preceded him in death.

He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, video games, and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Leslie; and nephew, Jeffery Belden.

Janet Sue (Fletchall) Newman, 79 of Platte City, Missouri passed away surrounded by family on June 29, 2025 at the Gower Convalescent Center in Gower, Missouri. Janet was born June 5th, 1946 in Stanberry, Missouri to Keith and Hazel (Devers) Fletchall. She graduated from Stanberry High School and went on to attend Northwest Missouri State University majoring in Business and Library Science.

Janet married the love of her life, Larry J. Newman in Stanberry on June 19th, 1964. Together they raised three children in Platte City, Missouri. Janet taught in the Gilman City R-IV Schools, the West Platte R-II Schools, the North Platte R-I Schools, and the Park Hill School District.

Janet was a very generous person with her time as well as being extremely caring and helpful. She really enjoyed helping raise her six grandchildren. Although she had many talents and interests, she enjoyed listening to music, playing the piano, gardening, sewing and china painting. Janet was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Smithville, Missouri.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents Keith and Hazel Fletchall, sister Colleen (John) Duley and newborn niece Shelly Lawson of Stanberry. She is survived by her husband, Larry J. Newman, Platte City, Missouri and by her three children, Tia (Mike) Bigus of Platte City, Tessa (Aaron) Rhodus of Parkville and Thad (Zenith) Newman of Platte City; grandchildren, Mannon (Colby) Guffey of Platte City, Meritt Bigus of Platte City, Miller Bigus of Platte City, Aadyn and Talon Rhodus of Parkville, and Forrest Newman of Platte City. I, June Marie (Juengel) Kumm was born on February 16, 1946, to George John Juengel and Opal Virginia (Oliver) Price. I was one of eleven children and the fourth born! I was not raised in a Christian home, but had a godly grandmother, Josie (Wimberly) Oliver, who often spoke to me about the Lord. Through my childhood years I had occasionally attended a Baptist Church where I heard about God and Jesus, but it wasn’t until I had been married to my husband, Allan Kumm on November 10, 1963 in Wichita, KS and went through struggles in marriage that I met my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 14, 1968, at the age of 21. That’s when my new life began! In the upper room in my mother’s home, as I was reading a Christian book, “God’s Word Made Plain” by a missionary (Kay Friedrichson), I cried out to the Lord in repentance and was born again and became a part of the family of God. What an amazing life He has given me!! My Heavenly Father, through Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection, and through the gifting and leadership of the Holy Spirit, gets ALL The Glory!!! Serving my Savior for these 57 + years has been more than I could ever imagine!!! And just think, I get to serve Him for eternity!!! You can too, if you trust Him as your Savior and Lord!! My pastor will share with you how you can know for sure that you will live FOREVER WITH JESUS! My heavenly treasures have been sent ahead! Only Jesus knows who or what they are.

Shirley Ann Wheeler Simmons, 96, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away June 29, 2025, after a short illness.

She was born in St. Joseph on December 29, 1928 to Paul and Ethyl Wheeler.

She lived in St. Joseph her entire life. &nbsp;She was a lifetime member of Ashland Avenue Methodist Church. &nbsp;Shirley attended Humboldt and Pickett schools, and graduated in 1946 from Central High School. &nbsp;After graduation she was employed &nbsp;at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and retired after 25 years working for the St. Joseph School District food service. &nbsp;She also volunteered at Patee Park Baptist Church for over 16 years.

She married the love of her life Coy B. Simmons, Jr. &nbsp;in 1947. &nbsp;They were married for 54 years before he passed away in 2002. &nbsp;She was &nbsp;preceded in death by her parents; daughter Vickie Ellis; and sister Beverly &nbsp;Dietderich and husband Dick.

Survivors include daughter Connie Kay Elder (Dallas); grandchildren Staci &nbsp;Elder, Anna &nbsp;Teale (Adam), Nathan Elder; great-grandchildren Kaia &nbsp;Teale Patton, Kason &nbsp;Teale; great-great-granddaughter Marlow Patton; sister Betty Kepley; nieces and nephews, Lori Boyer (Dan), Nichole Brahms Bruley and Rick Dietderich (Kelly), Cherie Arnone and family, and Jeff Kepley.

He was born on June 5, 1964 to James Franklin Caldwell and Patricia Leola Eaton in Cameron, Missouri.

Joseph's life was marked by an infectious zest and a genuine kindness that drew people to him. He was known for his ability never to meet a stranger, greeting everyone with an open heart and a twinkling eye that promised friendship and good cheer. His interests reflected the man he was — full of life and always willing to lend a hand. There was never a dull moment around Joseph; he had the unparalleled talent of transforming the mundane into the extraordinary with his humor and joyous disposition. His love for dance and his always “What are you doing now?” when he called, will be really missed.

Preceding him in death were his mother Pat, stepfather Bill Mace, stepmother Nancy Caldwell, son Joseph Johnson, granddaughter Joey Rose, and sister Teresa McDowell, the legacy they all shared will continue in the stories and memories Joseph leaves behind.

He is survived by his father James, his kids Courtney Parker (Phillip), Brian Johnson (Anna), and Jeff Johnson, his 14 grandchildren, who he adored, his siblings, James Caldwell (Ronda), Angel Rhodes (Allen), and Jeffrey Mace, his best friend Nelleda, his stepbrother Terry Stucky (Tonya), and a host of family as well as the countless friends who became family through the years. His nieces and nephews will hold dear his memory, cause to them he was not just a uncle but a father, confidant, a mentor, and a towering figure of support for what they will miss the man who filled their lives with laughter and acted as a paternal figure beyond measure. Each of them carries a piece of Joseph's unwavering spirit.

No one will ever forget when Nancy’s garden gnome disappeared. Later to be seen in a Christmas card photo with Jimmy &amp; Joseph that Nancy was surprised to open.

A man of boundless enthusiasm and warmth, Joseph's presence was a gift to the world, and his legacy of love and laughter will continue to inspire and comfort us all during his absence that will be deeply felt by all who were touched by his spirit.

Our angel baby, Parker Lee Williams, was born on June 23, 2025, at Amberwell Atchison, to Andrew Sowers of Effingham, Kansas, and Elizabeth Williams of Powhattan, Kansas.

Parker passed peacefully on June 27, 2025 at home with many loves ones around. &nbsp;Though his time with us was brief, we will forever cherish the moments we had with him. We will miss his tiny hands and feet and the warmth of his presence. &nbsp;They will forever remain in our hearts.

Additional survivors of Parker include his maternal great-grandparents Joseph and Tammy Williams of Powhattan, &nbsp;grandmother Ashley Friend of Hiawatha, &nbsp;paternal grandfather Joe Sowers of Effingham, aunt Linda Sowers of Topeka, and uncle Tony Sowers of Holton, great aunt Tiffany Barnhart of Falls City, NE, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Parker was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Carla Sowers.
