Judith Ann “Judy” Zachary, 83, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024, after a short battle with Alzheimer’s disease.&nbsp;

Judy was born on October 3, 1940, in Atchison, Kansas, to Henry “Dutch” Wolters and Helen “Nellie” (Fuhrman) Wolters. She grew up in Atchison Kansas in a two-bedroom house with 5 Siblings. 2 older brothers Eugene and Jerome, and her older Sister Maggie. Followed by a younger Sister Jane and younger Brother John.&nbsp;

In 1964 Judy started her journey in search of a bigger life in the metropolis of Omaha Nebraska. She packed up her White Corvair convertible and fearlessly set off.&nbsp;

Shortly after her arrival she met Edward Zachary and they were married. They had 4 beautiful children. Edward, Jennifer, Ellie, and her favorite Jeffrey. In 1976 life threw her a curveball and she went from homemaker to breadwinner.&nbsp;

Throughout her life she worked tirelessly to raise her 4 children while going to night school earning her accounting degree at Bellevue university.&nbsp;

Judy spent most of her working life in the Real Estate Industry before retiring in 2009 to help when her youngest child welcomed twins. Judy spent her retirement enjoying her family and especially her Grandchildren.&nbsp;

She was an active member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in Omaha and enjoyed working in the lunchroom so she could see her grandchildren who attended school there. She could often be found at the many sporting events that her grandchildren participated in. Judy’s love was her family and enjoyed many summer reunions with them at the lake of the Ozarks, even though she never learned to swim. She is survived by her children, Ed and Cari Zachary of Omaha, NE; Jennifer and Andy Jordan of Collinsville, OK; Ellie and Jesse Sweet of Omaha, NE; Jeff and Emily Zachary of Omaha, NE; She is also survived by her siblings, Maggie Church, Jane Enzbrenner, and John Wolters; her brother-in-law, Frank Enzbrenner; her sister-in-law, Judy Wolters; and her beloved grandchildren, Anna, Kate, Ian, and Will Zachary; Wyatt (Gabbi) and Brannon Jordan; Jack, Charlie, and Addie Jane Sweet; Henry and Owen Zachary; and great-grandchildren Blakely and Gray Jordan. Judy will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.&nbsp;

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Gene and Jerome Wolters, and her sisters-in-law, Catherine and Pam Wolters.&nbsp;

In the end her gift was that everyone thought they were her favorite child, grandchild, brother, sister, niece or nephew. and they were all correct.

Mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 801 Spring Garden, Atchison, KS. A visitation with the family will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Alzheimer's Association. Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruet Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mary Margaret Hicks was born on September 01, 1932, to the late Thomas and Helen M. Fox, in Moberly. Missouri, she went to be with the Lord on August 31,2024. She was 91 years old. 

Mrs. Hicks moved to St. Joseph as a teenager and attended Bartlett High School, where she met the love of her life, Moses L. Hicks. They later married, eloping to Atchison, Kansas, accompanied by two friends. The couple set up their home in St. Joseph, where they were married for nearly 70 years, until Mr. Hicks passed in December of 2018. Mrs. Hick enjoyed being a homemaker and was a stay-at-home mom. She began working outside the home after the youngest child went to school. Mrs. Hicks worked at the former Noma Lites Company for several years before beginning her career as a Psychiatric Aide III at the former St. Joseph Hospital for 27 years. She made lifelong friendships during her employment and enjoyed spending her leisure time with them.

Mrs. Hicks as a member of the former 1st Baptist Mount Union Church. In her younger day, she enjoyed roller skating, and was good at it. In her later years, she enjoyed her “soaps” Gunsmoke Westerns, WWE Wrestling, Lakers and Chiefs. Most of all, she loved 2-stepping with her husband.

On April 19, 1949, she married Moses (M.L.) Hicks. To this union were born eleven children. Deretha Spurr (Stephen), Moses L. Hicks, Jr., Margaret Hunter, Frederick R. Hicks, Victor M. Hicks (deceased),  Carolyn K. Hicks, Paul W. Hicks, Sr., Peter D. Hicks (Sandy) all of St. Joseph, Vickie Colbert (Jewell), Liberty, Mo., Paula D. Hicks, Atlanta, Ga., and George T. Hicks (Cynthia), SanDiego, CA., in addition to her children, she is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, son Victor, brother Thomas West, Sr., sisters Virginia Sue Thomas, stepfather Otis Marshall, Sr., sister-in-law Sarah Rowland-West, brother-in-law Virgil Thomas Sr., son-in-law John A. Hunter, and twin great grandsons.

Homegoing Celebration will be held Tuesday September 10th, 11:00 a.m. New Hope Missionary Baptist Church 1824 Sylvanie Street, St. Joseph. Family visitation will be held at the church, one hour before the service. Interment Ashland Cemetery. Services entrusted to Bullock Family Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be live streamed.

Joseph E. Miller, 72, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

He was born September 29, 1951 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Herbert L. and Helen M. (Owens) Miller.

He married Mary A. Sowell on April 20, 1992 and they were married for 19 years before she passed away in 2011.

Joseph enjoyed spending his time reading, fishing, hunting and watching sports. He was an avid Chiefs and Royals fan. He was also a part of a bowling league.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Helen; wife, Mary; and his sister, Kathy Nichols.

Survivors include his children, AJ and Chad Miller (Shelly); 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Miller; his caregiver, Michelle Cannon; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Norma Jean Scroggins, 90, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

She was born July 7, 1934 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Her parents were Ward Merriott and Wilma (Brown) Ryther and stepfather Emery Ryther.

Norma married Ivan L. Scroggins on August 28, 1957.

She was an excellent cook. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan; siblings, Joyce Russell, Louis Benkula, and Dr. Merlin Brown.

Susan Jane (Siekert) Rippen of Mound City, Missouri, died at the age of 77 on September 4, 2024 in St. Joseph, MO following a brief illness. &nbsp;

Susan was born on August 2, 1947 in Chadron, Dawes County, Nebraska to John B. Siekert and Ardetta M. (Eastabrooks) Siekert. &nbsp;She had a half-sister, Marilyn (Willer) Larsen. Susan graduated from Chadron High School in 1965, where she was played the flute in the marching band. In Omaha, NE, Susan earned her cosmetology license and was a hairdresser for many years throughout her adult life. She attended Chadron State College for two years, during which time she traveled to Denmark and Norway. Susan was a bookkeeper for Cargill for several years. She also worked as a hospital aide, a licensed assistant in an insurance office and front desk assistant with the local newspaper. &nbsp;

Susan was united in marriage on August 15, 1971 to Richard “Dick” Rippen at the First United Methodist Church, Chadron, NE. During their 53 years of marriage, Susan and Dick resided in several Nebraska towns including North Platte, Brady, Bassett, Long Pine, Central City, Kearney, Aurora and Holdredge, as well as Lamar, Colorado and Elkhart, Kansas. In their retirement years, they enjoyed spending their winters in New Orleans, LA and made their home in Mound City, MO for 26 years. &nbsp;

Susan was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Order of the Eastern Star, Rebekahs, P.E.O. and was a life-long member of the &nbsp;United Methodist &nbsp;Church. She actively volunteered in a variety of ways at the Mound City United Methodist Church. After her family, Susan’s passion was genealogy. She took several trips and did extensive research in her pursuit of family records which she then compiled into an extensive library. &nbsp;

She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Ardetta Siekert (Chadron, NE) and her sister, Marilyn Larsen (Springview, NE). &nbsp;

Survivors include her husband, Dick Rippen, Mound City, MO, son, Matt Rippen (Anita), Argyle, TX, daughter, Kate Schaffert (Brian), Gardner, Kansas and five grandchildren: Jack and Will Schaffert, and McKenzie, Addie and Lenora Rippen.

Bernard “Bernie” W. Noll passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 82, in Atchison, Kansas.Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 10:30AM, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Bernard was born on November 9, 1941, at his grandmother Schricks’ house in Mooney Creek, KS, the son of Walter “Jack” and Evelyn (Schrick) Noll. He spent most of his life in Mooney Creek, KS. 

He graduated from Mooney Creek grade school in 1955 and from Maur Hill High School in 1959. He worked at the family farm until starting work at Midwest Solvents in 1962. In 1968, his Kansas Army National Guard unit was called to Ft. Carson for active duty for the Vietnam War, where he served as a unit cook. In 1980, he went to work for KCPL in Iatan, MO, at a power generating plant. He retired as a journeyman welder on Dec. 1, 2007, after 27 years of service. In his spare time, he loved to play cards, bowling, trap shooting, snow skiing, auto racing and helping others. Bernie was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of American Legions and Elks Lodge.

Bernard is survived by his brother, Joseph “Joey” (Karen) Noll, Atchison, KS, two sisters, Wilma Jean Wolters, Gladstone, MO, and Carol (Larry) Schuetz, Atchison, KS, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.

Bernard Walter "Bernie" Noll 1941 - 2024

Lester Robert Garton Jr. 81, of DeKalb, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 in DeKalb. He was born September 20, 1942 in St. Joseph, MO, son of the late Josephine and Lester Garton. 

He attended Bethel School and graduated DeKalb High School in 1961. He married Caroline Wilson in Rushville, MO. He served in the Army. He worked at KW Dart and Northwest Pipe as an assembler. In his younger years he was an avid water-skier and enjoyed boating. Bob was a man of few words, but was always a very kind and handy guy. He enjoyed mowing the yard on his John Deere, he loved Nascar, his dogs, and Dale Earnhart Sr. 

 Lester was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Justin Gould, and brother, Roger "Manny" Garton.

Lester Robert Garton Jr. 81, of DeKalb, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 in DeKalb. He was born September 20, 1942 in St. Joseph, MO, son of the late Josephine and Lester Garton. He attended Bethel School and graduated DeKalb High School in 1961. He married Caroline Wilson in Rushville, MO. He served in the Army. He worked at KW Dart and Northwest Pipe as an assembler. In his younger years he was an avid water-skier and enjoyed boating. Bob was a man of few words, but was always a very kind and handy guy. He enjoyed mowing the yard on his John Deere, he loved Nascar, his dogs, and Dale Earnhart Sr. Lester was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Justin Gould, and brother, Roger "Manny" Garton. Joseph E. Miller, 72, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024.He was born September 29, 1951 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Herbert L. and Helen M. (Owens) Miller.He married Mary A. Sowell on April 20, 1992 and they were married for 19 years before she passed away in 2011.Joseph enjoyed spending his time reading, fishing, hunting and watching sports. He was an avid Chiefs and Royals fan. He was also a part of a bowling league.He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Helen; wife, Mary; and his sister, Kathy Nichols.Survivors include his children, AJ and Chad Miller (Shelly); 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Miller; his caregiver, Michelle Cannon; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He flew two combat tours as an F-4 pilot in Vietnam, successfully help raise 3 kids, and was an amazing husband and father. His wife was lucky enough to be with him, when he went to a place of peace.

Born October 15th, 1942 to Albert and Martha Rourke in Alexandria LA. Tom was an avid pilot and upon graduation from University of Southwestern Louisiana, was commissioned in the Air Force and flew fighters for over 20 years. After retiring from the Air Force he continued to fly his own aircraft, to include Cessna-172 until he was 81 years old. &nbsp;He joined a selective international group of Senior Experienced Pilots, the United Flying Octogenarians. He was an active member of the Leavenworth Lion’s Club, and the prestigious “Old Bastards Club.”

Tom is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Beth, his three children Sean married to Danielle (grandchild Ian), Cathy married to Andrew (grandchild Luke), and Karen married to Jon (grandchildren Isaac and Roman).

Visitation will be held on Monday the September 9th, at Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee St Leavenworth KS at 4pm-6pm, followed by a Rosary Service. Funeral mass will be held the following day, September 10th at St Casimir Catholic Church, 715 Pennsylvania Ave at 10am. Inurnment will be 12:30pm at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Rd. If attending the inurnment, please arrive by 12:15.

Larry Conroy 51, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 in St. Joseph. He was born December 4, 1972 in St. Joseph, son of Lonna and Roger Conroy. 

He attended Central High School. When he was younger, Larry worked on the railroad as a laborer. He loved to scratch lottery tickets, hangout with his friends, fish and play bingo. 

Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Lonna Conroy.

Doris Jean Adkins, 93, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away at her home on Monday, September 2, 2024. &nbsp;

She was born in Conception Junction, MO, on May 2, 1931 to Emmitt and Ada Mae &nbsp;Cain. On December 23, 1949 she married Edward M. (Sam) Adkins.

Prior to retirement she worked at the State Hospital in St. Joseph, and then worked at Bliss Manor until it closed.

Survivors include her children, Ricky M. Adkins, Cheryl (Rick Alley) Adkins Bullock, Deborah (Alvan) Ellis, and Theresa (Paul) Montgomery, all of St. Joseph; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a beloved cat.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; son Stephen Adkins; &nbsp;one great-grandson, Bradon Krull.

He married Anita Kay Thompson on November 11, 1983.

Out of many things, he loved his family the most. He enjoyed camping, racing, K.C. Chiefs, and traveling the U.S. with his niece Tara Davis and children.

Margaret Jean Watkins, 88, died September 2, 2024, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born May 23, 1936, in rural Nodaway County, MO, to James Elden and Margaret Elaine (Damon) Huls. &nbsp;

Known as Jean to all her family and friends, she graduated from Clearmont High School, Clearmont, MO, Missouri Western State University, St. Joseph, MO, and received her master’s degree as a reading specialist from Wichita State University. Jean retired from Avenue A School, after 20 years of service as a 5th and 6th grade teacher. Overall, her teaching career spanned over 50 years. Jean enjoyed staying busy, especially if it meant shopping, whether on-line or in person, traveling, (she visited all 50 states), going on cruises, and riding her motorcycle.&nbsp;

On June 7, 1971, she married the love of her live, Martin V. Watkins, in Mami, OK. He died June 24, 2009, after they shared 38 years of marriage.&nbsp;

Jean is survived by: &nbsp;children, Donna Budd of Kansas City, MO, Steven Hull (Karen) of Chester, VA, Kelly Hull (Cheryl) of Nags Head, NC, Wendy Turley (James), and Tina Self (Kevin), all of Hutchinson; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: &nbsp;her parents; son-in-law, Jim Budd; and half-brother, Dean Huls.

A private gathering will be held. &nbsp;Inurnment will take place in Colorado.

Annora E. Newman, 88, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024.

She was born October 13, 1935 in Maryville, Missouri to Vincent and Thelma (Brown) Smith.

Annora married Robert J. Newman on July 2, 1969. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1986.

She worked as a nurse in Maryville, Missouri, and Asbury Hospital in Salina, Kansas, before returning to St. Joseph where she worked as a CNA at Saxton’s. She later operated a daycare out of her home for 20 years.

Annora was a longtime member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

While a bit ornery and known as a jokester, Annora was very family-oriented and giving, and loved spending time with children. She was known as the “neighborhood mom” who was always there to help others. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents; sister, Alice Swyhart; and niece, Dawn Grimm.

Survivors include her son, Robert Newman (Tracy Moore); grandchildren, Leo Newman and Heidi Newman; stepchildren, Linda Schmitt (Pete), Roberta, Paula Owens (David), and Sheila Gatewood; sisters, Betty Grimm, Wanda Dryer, and Rita Wade; many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

She was born September 22, 1965 in Bakersfield, California.

Jackie Lee Miller, age 92 years, of Craig, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024, at Tiffany Heights Nursing Home.

Jackie was born November 8, 1931 on a farm near Craig to Dale O. Miller and Margurite (Woolgar) Miller. He attended school at Lonesome Road School and then Bellevue Community School north of Mound City.

Jackie was known for his twinkling blue eyes and sense of humor. He was voted the "life of the party" by his high school class. He could always be counted on for something fun, which continued throughout his life. After high school Jackie farmed and raised cattle with his dad. They joined the American Angus Association in 1950.

In 1950, Jackie joined the U.S. Air Force. He served until 1953, &nbsp;initially stationed in South Carolina. At one point he and several other young service men were given three days leave and they took turns driving through the night to come home to Missouri and visit their friends and family. He was stationed in Bordeaux, France, during the Korean War. Jackie was a member of the Laon Air Police on the base. His military service took him to Germany, Italy and Spain. On base Jackie was frugal with his funds and would lend money to fellow service members, eventually setting up a small table to make small loans, collecting at pay day (and making some money through fees, of course). Jackie made many life long friends during his service. Jackie was a member of the 126th Bombardment Wing and upon his return to the United States was active in the Wing’s reunions. Jackie and his wife enjoyed attending Air Force events throughout their lives. &nbsp;

While Jackie served, his dad took care of the herd and added cattle. Upon returning home, he married his sweetheart Eva Mae Smith. They had one son, Kenny Miller. They made their home on Jackie’s grandfather’s farm. Jackie and Eva Mae enjoyed farm life and traveling. They took many vacations throughout their marriage. Two of their favorite places were Branson and the Amana Colonies. They visited many ranches with Roger and Barbara Smith.&nbsp;

Jackie and Wayne Heck used to drag race cars down the mountainous Craig Hill, to the dismay of their wives. Jackie taught his grandsons to drive. For this reason, Jackie’s grandsons still speed to this day. Jackie was a dedicated collector of antique tools and wrenches. He was long-time member of an antique wrench club. He also loved antique tractors and restored his father’s 1938 F-20 Farmall.

Pastor Scott Jordan baptized Jackie at the nursing home on July 15, 2018, and it was one of his proudest moments.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 70 years, Eva Mae, and his great-grandson Clint Wilmes.

Survivors include his son, Kenny and his wife Mary; his grandsons, Keith and his wife Jennifer, and Kurt and his wife Tammy; great grandchildren Kailey, Ty, Levi, Leah Mae and Lily Miller; in-laws Roger and Barbara Smith of Nebraska City, and Franklin and Janice Smith of Lincoln; numerous nieces and nephews; step grandchildren Olivia (Chad) Gosh, April Kirkendall, and Safairra (Brent) Slaby; and step great grandchildren Camille, Avery, and Aries.

&nbsp;Jerry Kramer, 81, Winchester, Kansas passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024.He was born February 12, 1943, in Mooney Creek, Kansas to William “Bill” Kramer and Eulalia (Schrick) Kramer and was the fourth of eleven children.

Jerry married Bonnie Clinton of Effingham, Kansas on February 13, 1965. Jerry graduated from Maur Hill and served in the Air National Guard. Jerry loved his time as an airline machinist. After working at Twin City Tool for 20 years, he began at TWA in 1988 and retired from American Airlines in 2005. Although he worked as a machinist for his “city career” his true vocation was farming. He was a member of the Mooney Creek Catholic Church’s Knights of Columbus, choir and Parish council for many years and served as a member of the Divan at the Topeka Arab Shrine. Jerry enjoyed quietly helping others and over the years shared his talents and resources with the people of the Mooney Creek and Winchester communities. He loved his grandchildren, extended family, his church, baking pies and “real rock and roll.”

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Bonnie Kramer; brothers, Wayne Kramer and Stephen Kramer; sisters, Verda Wolters, Connie Speaks, Janice Firestone, and Deborah Kramer; in-laws Bob and Jane Clinton; daughters, Lisa Silva (Tampa, FL), and Pam BeMent (Basehor, KS); grandchildren, Mary BeMent and Calvin Silva; and multiple deeply loved and appreciated nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Euk Kramer; brothers, Eugene, Daniel and Terrence Kramer and sister, Mary Linda Malicke.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Friday, September 6, 2024, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church Mooney Creek with Fr. William Dun-Dery as Celebrant. William "Bill" Edwin Swope, 81, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Bill was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, on May 1, 1943, and was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, known for his generosity, humor, and commitment to his community.

Bill attended Williamsburg Technical School before proudly serving his country as a Navy veteran during the Vietnam War, spending six years aboard the USS Klondike. Following his military service, Bill embarked on a successful career as a plant manager with Silgan Containers and Carnation. It was during his time with Carnation that he traveled to the Philippines, where he met and fell in love with his beloved wife, Gerbie.

A devoted family man, Bill is survived by his loving wife, Gerbie Swope; his son, Kenny Swope; daughters, Mary Williams and Claire Swope; son-in-law, Sean Williams; and his brother, Robert Swope, along with his sister-in-law, Susan Swope. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Herman E. and Naomi Margaret Swope.

Bill had a generous spirit, raising money for United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) and volunteering with ProPapa Missions America. His strong sense of brotherhood was reflected in his involvement as a 32nd-degree Mason and a proud Moila Shriner. An avid outdoorsman, Bill loved hunting and fishing, especially in Hayward, Wisconsin.

Bill’s life of service, dedication, and love for his family and community will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

Robert "Red" Steven Haarlammert 71, of Saint Joseph, MO, peacefully passed away on August 29, 2024. He was born on December 20, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Gloria and Donald Ralph Haarlammert. 

Robert was preceded in death by his son, Paul Albertson; his sister, Donna Hageman; and his brothers, Larry Haarlammert and Randy Travis. 

Surviving family members include his wife, Deborah Haarlammert, of the home; his brother, Darrel Haarlammert; daughter-in-law, Janean Phillippe; grandchildren, Kloey Albertson, Paul Albertson, Bryston Humphrey, and Larsyn Phillippe; and six nieces and nephews.

 Robert served as a Parachute Rigger in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1977. He then worked for E&amp;K Companies Inc., where he retired after 30 years. Despite being retired, he continued to do taping side jobs for many years out of love for the job. Robert was an avid deer hunter. He also loved collecting rare coins, and sharing military stories. He was dedicated to caring for those around him, and always put the wellbeing of others before his own. 

At Robert’s request, there will be no funeral service.

He was a Life Scout in Boy Scouts of America, a member of the Lancaster Saddle Club, MO-KAN Beagle Club, enjoyed disc golf, fishing, rabbit hunting, field trail dogs.

Charles married Sandra Rathmann on March 14, 1997; she survives of the home. 

He is also survived by a stepdaughter, Ginger and Dennis Thomas, Lawrence, KS, two stepbrothers, Terry and Debra Robinson, Tim and Dorothy Robinson, two stepsisters, Tammy Griffin, Halls, MO, Trudy and Bob Scott, Atchison, KS, six grandchildren and several aunts and uncles on his father’s side.

Harold Eugene Cline Sr. 92, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024.  He was born April 28, 1932 in Wallace, MO, son of the late Birdie and Morris Cline.

Robert “Bob” Teschner passed away peacefully August 29, 2024.The youngest of 10 siblings. &nbsp;He was born to Charles Adolf and Flossie (Hazelwood) Teschner on March 27, 1932. 

He attended Hosea Elementary and Benton High School. He joined the military service as a Marine, a Korean war veteran. Bob served his country as a radio operator and proud to be the “first to fight and Semper Fidelis.” His lifetime buddies included Gene Hook, Lowell Scholfield (MIA) and Leo Sexton who he shared many memories. He of course enjoyed many hours of fishing with his buddy Louis Glaub. &nbsp;

On November 14, 1952 he married Shirley Kennedy of which they raised two sons Rob and Randy. Always kind and selfless, he was always there for anyone in need.

As a self-employed carpenter, his hands were gifted by God to create nothing less than magic. A lover of the outdoors, fishing was his passion, making many trips to his happy place in Minnesota catching countless walleye. Always on the lake first to get the great catch of the day. &nbsp;After the catch, he relaxed with his beverage of choice - Hamms beer.&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Rob, and nine siblings E. R. “Bus” (Virginia), Clyde (Rufena), Charles, infant Virginia, Leona Hale, Hazel (Louis) Canterbury, Betty (Ivan) Green, Juanita (C.B.) Roberts and Lorene (Homer) Mace. 

Bob was survived by his wife of 72 years - Shirley, Son Randy (Terri), daughter in-law Lore, Grandchildren Aimee (Mike) Clardy, Jeremy, Dominic (Heather) CDeBaca, Nicole (Brett) CDeBaca, Courtney (Philip) Eiberger and 15 great grandchildren. 

You are gone from our sight, but not from the memories in our hearts. &nbsp;You are sadly missed!

Lloyd L. “Smiley” Myers, 63, Kidder, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

He was born May 14, 1961 in Hannibal, Missouri to Lloyd L. Myers, Sr. and Georgia (Saunders) Myers.

Smiley proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

Smiley married Shirley Mae Farris on July 18, 1986. She preceded him in death on January 8, 2023.

He was a welder for many years and operated Smiley’s Bait and Tackle and Smiley’s Taxi Ride.

Smiley enjoyed fishing, hunting, demolition derbies, hunting, “NCIS”, family, baseball -- especially the Cubs, telling jokes, and spending time with family. His favorite meal was biscuits and gravy.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Shirley; his father, Lloyd Myers, Sr.; stepfather, Harry Saunders; and daughter, Ashley Myers.
