Connie Jurgens, beloved sister, friend, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on January 17th, 2024, from complications of recently diagnosed cancer. Born on March 22nd, 1950, Connie lived a life filled with love, creativity, positivity and adventure.

Connie had a passion for art and photography, and her talent was evident in every piece she created and every photo she snapped. Her eye for beauty extended to her love for gardening, and her green thumb was the envy of all who knew her. She found joy in tending to her flowers and plants, creating a vibrant oasis in her little town of Weston.

But perhaps Connie's greatest joy came from her family. She loved her daughter, Gail Schuetz, and her grandchildren, Taylor, Ryan, and Anna, beyond measure. Her great-grandchildren, Harrison, Hilde, and Hugh brought her an indescribable amount of joy and she cherished every moment with them.

Connie also had a passion for travel and adventure, and she made it a point to explore new places whenever possible. Her adventurous spirit, big smile and love for life left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Survived by: Daughter Gail Schuetz (Greg), grandchildren Taylor Ayers (Cody), Ryan Schuetz (Patty Gonzales), and Anna Schuetz. Great grandchildren Harrison Ayers, Hilde Ayers, Hugh Ayers, Damian and Anakin. Sisters Pam Sigrist (Jim) and Denise Beattie. Nieces and nephews, Jeffery Sigrist (Jeana), Megan Mallen (Matt), Shon Sigrist (Sydni), Danielle Eickemeyer. She was proceeded in death by her parents Dutch and Villera Beattie and husband William Jurgens.&nbsp;

Linda Kay was born November 17, 1946, to Alfred Leo and Frances Lucille Ottinger.&nbsp;

&nbsp;Linda grew up in Gower and graduated from Gower High School. She was united in marriage to Vance Gayle Bodenhausen August 23, 1964. Their 59 years of marriage was blessed with love, faith, family, friends, and life on the farm in rural Gower.&nbsp;

Linda was a member of the Gower Christian Church, where she shared her extraordinary musical talent with the church and community. She served the church for 59 years as organist and choir director. Her energy and creativity in arranging special music to celebrate Christmas, Easter and weekly worship services was widely recognized and appreciated. Among her most impactful contributions was establishing the Living Last Supper dramatic reflection on communion that became the centerpiece of the annual Maundy Thursday service.&nbsp;

Few events happened in Gower without Linda providing the music. She played piano or organ music for hundreds of weddings, funerals, graduation ceremonies and she led choral presentations to bring memorable entertainment to numerous special occasions. She had a special zeal for performing patriotic, gospel and ragtime music.&nbsp;

Linda was an insurance agent and served as Business Manager of Farmer’s Mutual Insurance Company of Clinton County for 31 years. She had wide-ranging interests and was an avid collector of teddy bears, nutcrackers, milk bottles, medicine bottles, old sheet music, and historical women’s hats. She shared her interests with many groups and was especially close to her circle of friends in Beta Sigma Phi. We are grateful that Linda was a photographer and scrapbooker, leaving us with keepsakes that spark memories of special times and places.&nbsp;

Linda’s biggest joy was her family, especially participating in the activities of her seven grandchildren – to whom she is known as Grammy. She enjoyed family trips all over the U.S. and Canada in the 1970s and ‘80s. In more recent years, Linda enjoyed cheering for the Kansas City Royals and taking road trips with Vance to watch major league baseball games and tour Presidential Museums.&nbsp;

Linda is survived by her husband, Vance; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Kerry Bodenhausen, Springfield, Mo.; daughter and son-in-law Brooke and Bob Renton, Weatherby Lake, Mo.; son Brent Bodenhausen of Gower; seven grandchildren, Michael Bodenhausen, Luke Renton, Nathan Renton, and Blair, Beck, Kel, and Kali Bodenhausen; Linda’s brother and sister-in-law Bill and Ruth Ottinger, Van Buren, Ark.; several nieces, nephews, sisters- and brothers-in-law, other relatives, and many friends.&nbsp;

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Lucille Ottinger.&nbsp;

Linda’s last years were difficult as she bravely faced the health effects and steady decline of Alzheimer’s. The loving care and steadfast commitment of Vance made it possible for Linda to remain at home and rest in peace. The family wishes to thank the angelic caregivers of Home Instead and Freudenthal Healthcare for their respectful, conscientious, and loving care. Linda’s special friendship with Shirley Rowland was an immense blessing and source of comfort.&nbsp;

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26 at the Gower Christian Church AFC Building, 203 S. 3rd Street, Gower, Mo. The funeral service will be at 11:00 on Saturday, January 27 at the Gower Christian Church AFC. Burial will be at Allen Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Klein Funeral Home.&nbsp;

Larry McCray, 82, St. Joseph, Missouri, died Thursday, January 18, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.&nbsp;

A visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later date at Old Huron Cemetery.&nbsp;

Larry was born August 26, 1941, in Atchison, Kansas, the son of Jesse D. and Gladys (Christie) McCray. He attended school in Atchison graduating from Atchison High School.&nbsp;

He and Linda Behler were married April 20, 1963, at the First Christian Church in Atchison, Kansas.&nbsp;

Larry was employed with Atchison Casting for over 37 years until his retirement. He enjoyed his dog, cars and watching the Royals and the Chiefs.&nbsp;

Survivors include his wife of 60 years Linda; a son, James (Beth) McCray, St. Joseph, MO; a daughter, Donna Burnett, St. Joseph, MO; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Paul McCray; and a son-in-law, Tony Burnett.&nbsp;

Patricia “Pat” Ann Dougherty, aged 90, peacefully passed away on January 18, 2024, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO. She was born on January 29, 1933, to parents Clifford and Nadine (Ross) O’Conner.

On her 18th birthday, Pat met the man she would build a life with, James "Jim" Richard Dougherty. Their story began with a simple dance. During this dance, Jim told Pat that he was going to marry her. True to his words, four months later, they were united in marriage on April 14, 1951, in Yuma, AZ, marking the beginning of their 73-year journey together.

Pat dedicated most of her years to being a devoted homemaker, raising her five children. Known for her meticulous nature and strong work ethic, Pat was a hard worker who always had an order to her home. Despite starting with no culinary skills, she became an exceptional cook, thanks to Jim's mother.

Her heart overflowed with love for animals, especially the cherished dogs she had throughout the years. In recent times, she developed a love for the Kansas City Chiefs, proudly supporting her team.

Pat is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Dougherty, and their children: Kim (Donnie) Welch of Oregon, MO, Diana Baker of Kansas City, MO, John Dougherty of Kansas City, MO, and Robin (Jerry) Holmes of Graham, MO.

She is also survived by her stepsister, Ginger (David) Bonham of Yuba City, CA, and sister-in-law Shirley Russell of Dallas, TX.&nbsp;

John Milton Clevenger, 70, of Trimble, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in Kansas City, MO. He was born May 25,1953 to Milton and Mary Ruth (Espey) Clevenger. John married Denise Marie Black May 3, 1975. He was a member of the Savannah community his entire life.

John graduated from Savannah High School and attended Northwest Missouri State University, in Maryville, MO. He was a builder for twenty years, and then taught Building Trades at Savannah High School for 19 years, before retiring in 2014. Additionally, he was a coach for 38 years.

John is survived by his wife, Denise, their children: Allison and John Otte, of Kansas City MO, John Mitchell and Sarah Clevenger, of Elkhorn, NE, and Jacob and Sarah Clevenger of Smithville, MO; and grandchildren: Max Otte, Samantha Otte, Millie Otte, Kennedy Clevenger, Lincoln Clevenger, Sloan Clevenger and Maren Clevenger. John is also survived by his sister, Judy Clevenger, of Greenwood, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Mary Ruth Clevenger.

Deborah Joyce Boyer 82, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at her home. She was born June 19, 1941 in St. Joseph, daughter of Pearl (Slater) and Benjamin Willis. She attended Central High School. On February 18, 1966, she married Fred Boyer, sharing &nbsp;50 years together prior to his passing in 2017. Deborah worked various jobs prior to working for 10 years with Dr. Bob Ruwwe Jr., DDS as an Administrative Assistant. She enjoyed working puzzles, coloring, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved conversation and never knew a stranger. She also loved the Lord, and she was a woman of faith. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fred Boyer, and an infant brother. Survivors include: son, Benjamin (Jackie) Boyer of Savannah, MO, grandchildren, Sarah Pederson (Josh Fay), Shaundrea (Ana) Thornton, Slater Boyer, Shelby (Dakota) McCulley, Maddisyn (Jake) Kretzer, Charlee Fay, Jaymes Fay, Hadleigh McCulley, Aurora McCulley, and Monroe Kretzer. Charlene Amelia Schnabel, born on January 11, 1933, in Effingham, KS, peacefully passed away on January 20, 2024, in St. Joseph, MO. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Charlene was known for her creativity and organizational skills.Charlene is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Schnabel, and their children: Martin (Maggie) Schnabel, Theresa "Terrie", &nbsp;Ida (Ron) Caw, Robbie (Ric) Watson, and Robert (Bug) (Julie) Schnabel. She was also a cherished grandmother to Eric and Ryan Schnabel, Robert James, Nicholas Watson, Aaron Caw, Adam Watson, Gentry (Caw) Richardson, Randal James, Melissa (Watson) Cooney, Tabitha Schnabel, and Taylor Boultinghouse. Charlene's great-grandchildren include Stella, Ruby, Josie, Emma, Darcy, Loren, Liam, Grant, Olivia, Audrey, Connell, Ella, and another great granddaughter on the way.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Helen (Byrd) Noll, her father, Charles Taliaferro, her brother, Walter Taliaferro, her sister, Elaine Atkins, and son in law Ralph James.

Charlene attended Atchison High School, and later worked at Montgomery Wards. She dedicated her life as a homemaker, worked in the business office at St. Joseph State Hospital. Additionally, Charlene worked for the Camden County Public Administrator. She was a Room Mother and President of the South Park School PTA. She was Girl Scout Cookie Chairperson. &nbsp;She was a member of the John Cain Chapter of DAR.

Charlene had a variety of hobbies and interests. Her passion was in doing the family genealogy. &nbsp;She was a skilled crafter and found joy in needlework, including Brazilian embroidery, crewel, and counted cross-stitch. She was also an accomplished quilter and seamstress. Charlene's talents extended to cake decorating, and she enjoyed baking, playing dominoes, and remodeling her home. She took great pleasure in planning and participating in family gatherings and celebrations.

Charlene was a member at St. Patrick Catholic Church in St. Joseph, MO, and St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Fort Meyers, FL. &nbsp;A special Thank You for the staff at Mosaic Hospice for providing final care.Please join the family in honoring and remembering Charlene Amelia Schnabel, a remarkable woman whose presence will be deeply missed. Robert &nbsp;Bob "Smokey" Henry Guinn Sr. 80, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in a St. Joseph, MO hospital. He was born November 5, 1943 in Protection, KS, son of the late Mary Catherine and Dallas Guinn. He married Barbara Throckmorton on March 20, 1986, and she survives of the home. Bob worked at Auto Salvage Business for 50 years. He enjoyed working on cars, going to church, and spending time with his grandkids. He was a member of the Evangelistic Temple Church. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Leo and Thomas Guinn. Survivors include: wife, Barbara Jean Guinn of the home, six children: Robin Cooley (John), Robert Henry (Lauren) Guinn Jr., Nancy (Marcel) Salinus, Terry Throckmorton, Carrie Ann (Ryan) Campbell, and Barry (Cristy) Throckmorton, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, two sisters, Virgie Dalby and Dalla Coursen, and a brother, James D. Larry L. &nbsp;Atkins, 84, Rea, Missouri; passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born on July 5, 1939 in Fillmore, Missouri to the late Willie and Annie (Ueligger) Atkins. &nbsp;Larry was a 1957 graduate of Rosendale High School

Mr. Atkins was a proud American and served his country in the Missouri Air National Guard from 1957-1959.

Larry devoted his life to civic duty, he was the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer for the Missouri State Highway Patrol for over thirty-four years and served as the Andrew County Presiding Commissioner for sixteen years.

Larry volunteered for the Rosendale Fire Department as well as for the Boy Scouts of America. He was active as central committee member of the Andrew Country Republican Party for several years and was a member of the Rosendale Christian Church.&nbsp;

Larry loved farming and tractor cruises. Larry never knew a stranger and looked forward to his frequent coffee shop visits and hosting family get togethers.

Larry married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Clements on April 25, 1958. &nbsp;They celebrated fifty-three years of marriage until her passing in 2011.

In addition to his wife and parents, Larry was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Mary Atkins and two brothers, Lloyd and Dean Atkins.

Larry is survived by his four sons, Bryan (Glenna) and Darryl of Rea; Monty (Wendy) of Bolckow and Kent of Rea; grandchildren, Dustin (Kourtnea), Ariel (Payden), Colby (Kaitlin), Heather Gary), Zachary, Bryan Tyler Atkins; great-grandchildren, Faith, Laine, Harper, Emmy, Addie, Wrenley and Wells; brother, Dale Atkins; sister-in-law, Yolanda Clements; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Joy Ann Rose Clymer, 72, &nbsp;of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024.

Joy Ann was born on July 4, 1951 in Denver, Colorado, to the late Robert Herman and Joy Ann (Ashbrook) Hodes. She was a graduate of St. Teresa's Academy. She married Robert Clymer in Oklahoma and they were married for over thirty years. He preceded Joy Ann in death on March 31, 2015.

Joy Ann retired from Bothwell Hospital in their Environmental Services Department.

Joy Ann loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved horses and her cats. Joy Ann's hobby was shopping on QVC. She loved to watch Hallmark Christmas movies.

Joy Ann is survived by her children, Michael Clymer, James Zoffka, and Susie Nettleton; step-children, Robyn Hayley and Robert Clymer; grandchildren, Samantha Parmenter, Sierra Hubbard, Stephanie Clymer, Amber Dawn, Lycee Hayley, Angelina Hayley, Devlin Hayley, Sabrina and Cody Clymer; great-grandchildren Cliffton Thomas Clymer, Bentley Cruz McLeod, Declan Phillip James Parmenter, Izzie Parmenter, and Rayden McLeod; siblings Debbie Heitzman, Connie Heitman, Teresa Lange, Susie Vaughn, Patty Skinner, Mickey Parton, Jeannie Hodes, Bobby Hodes, Andrew Hodes, and Adam Hodes.

Sandra Shell, 79, St. Joseph, MO, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at her home&nbsp;surrounded by her loving family.

Sandra was born on September 14, 1944 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Rodney and Jane Shell.&nbsp; She was a 1962 graduate of Lafayette High School.

From the age of 16, Sandra had a love for hair styling and beauty work. She would go on to&nbsp;own and operate numerous beauty shops in addition to teaching classes in the profession.

Sandra enjoyed playing bingo and trips to the casino. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan&nbsp;and her favorite activities included spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her daughter Heather McDaniel (Bob Waters), her son Jason McDaniel&nbsp;(Michelle Clements), grandsons Cameron McDaniel (Jade Hossfeld) and Alex McDaniel, great-grandsons Ryder McDaniel and Colson McDaniel, her brother Jerry McVey, and her sister Alana&nbsp;Kilgore Hundley.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Sam.

Ms. Shell has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith&nbsp; &amp; Sidenfaden Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Alice Marie (Kilkenny) Maxwell, 88, passed away at home on January 11, 2024, completing a life well-lived! &nbsp;

Alice met Robert C. “Bob” Maxwell at the Frog Hop ballroom in the 1950’s and became his devoted dance partner for life. &nbsp;They married at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Hurlingen, Missouri on April 11, 1958, and celebrated 61 years together until his passing in 2019. The daughter of Anthony James and Ella Martha (Henke) Kilkenny, Alice lived in St. Joseph her entire lifetime.

After graduating from the Convent of the Sacred Heart in 1953, Alice worked at the St. Joseph Water Company for nearly 7 years. &nbsp;She also worked at the St. Joseph Gas Company, stopping work to care for her growing family in 1962. &nbsp;Alice was a 57-year breast cancer survivor, having faced her illness as a young &nbsp;wife and mother. &nbsp;In the early 1970’s, Alice began her 30-year career with the Missouri Division of Family Services, first as a clerk and then as a caseworker until her retirement. &nbsp;Alice had cherished memories of coworkers from her DFS years!

A lifelong catholic, Alice was a member of Cathedral of St. Joseph and a past member of both St. Francis Xavier and St. Patrick's catholic churches earlier in her life. &nbsp;

The mother of Leo (Terri), Wayne (Fabiola), and Lynn Smith (Scott), she is also survived by eight grandchildren: Brian Maxwell (Michaela), Zachary Maxwell (Chelsey Domanski), Cambrie Höglund (Samuel), Hannah Andres (Collin), Adam Maxwell, Alex Smith (Jessica), Lauren Le (Tyler), and Amy Smith, plus five great-grandsons, Trent and Dalton Maxwell, Grayson and Quinton Höglund, and Daniel “Archie” Smith. She was the sister of Mary Ellen Tellefson, Virginia Rose Kilkenny, Donald Francis Kilkenny, James Frederick Kilkenny, and Roger Kilkenny, all of whom predeceased her.

Gary was born on April 16, 1966 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Crystal Mae (Green) and Glen Ray Roderick. &nbsp; He was raised in the Rosendale area and graduated from North Andrew R-VI High School in 1985. &nbsp;

Gary worked at Monfort and Silgan as a mechanic.

Gary is survived by his parents, Ray and Crystal Roderick; brother, Bryan; 3 daughters, Brandye, Lillyan, and Randa; 4 grandchildren Kai, Naomi, Zayleigh, and Tynzlie; several aunts and uncles; numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. &nbsp;

Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Margurite Roderick; and, great-grandparents Rosh and Ruby Roderick; and grandparents, Harry and Evelyn Danner. &nbsp;

A memorial service will be held Saturday January 27, 2024 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior at 1:00 PM at Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel. &nbsp; There will be a private family inurnment at a later date.

He was born August 5, 1947 in St. Joseph to Winslow and Clara (Morman) Peek.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Winslow and Sharon were married on May 6, 1977. She survives of the home.

He worked at Johnson Controls for 40 years, and enjoyed bowling, fishing, mushroom hunting, and crossword puzzles.

Winslow was a wonderful husband and father. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brandon Peek; and sister, Donna Peek.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sharon; children, Winslow H. He loved music, coloring, puzzles, and movies.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Reed; and great-grandmother, Ruby Rodney.

Cindy Lee Russell (Davidson), 67, born on December 22, 1956, departed from this world on January 16, 2024, surrounded by the comforting care of Living Community Nursing Home. A dedicated soul in the field of in-home healthcare, and the secretary for many within the family. Cindy spent most of her adult life providing compassion and support to those in need.

Cindy found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in her love for playing bingo and the occasional visits to the casinos, and her long phone conversations with her family and her dear friend, Sonda Davidson. Her vibrant spirit and warm-hearted nature endeared her to many, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and family, survived by her cherished children: Chris (Amy) Davidson, Heather (Steven) Davis, Samantha (John) Bravo, Shelby (Quidanny) Delgado; and her step-children, Nate Cox and Brandon Cox, also share in the memories of a woman who embraced them as her own.

Cindy’s presence will be deeply missed by her adoring grandchildren: Jacob Davidson, Madison Davidson, Stevie Davis (Brandon), Sydney Davis (Dalton), Morgan Lollar, Carter Bravo, Josie Bravo and Micah Burrow.

The circle of her love extends to her great-grandchildren: Landon, Avery, Za’vion, Nevaeh, Knoxtin, Jasiah, and Benjamin.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Lowell Wayne Cox, who stood by her side through thick and thin. She is also remembered by her mother, Donna (McPheter) Davidson, and her siblings: Kelly (Dennis) Gentry, Barb O’Neal, John Davidson, Stoney Davidson, Darryl (Michelle) Davidson, and Scott Davidson. Numerous nieces and nephews hold fond memories of Aunt Cindy’s kindness and warmth.

Cindy was preceded in death by her former husband, Maurice “Rusty” Russell Jr., her father, Johnnie Davidson, and her sisters, Melody Starr and Gayle Davidson. In their reunion beyond this life, may they find eternal peace.

Dale Patrick Knox, 79, of Emma, MO, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Kansas City V.A. Medical Center. Dale was born February 1, 1944, in St. Joseph, MO to Hobert Marshall and Nannie Florence (West) Knox. He was raised in Weston, MO; and was a 1962 graduate of Weston High School, where he enjoyed playing football. Dale worked for the Hall’s Orchard of Weston, which was his first job, before joining the military. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Dale worked as a machinist for Atchison Casting/Rockwell for 28 years; and later for Walmart after his retirement in 2007. Dale was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and camping trips to Smithville Lake. He was also very creative and enjoyed drawing. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Lewis Dean and Daniel Earl Knox; and an infant sister Karan Lee Knox, who passed in 1950. Dale is survived by his brothers Doug and David Knox; his sister Dalice Buckler; his daughters Kimberly Edwards, Shauna Novotny, and Mandy Fultz; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 19, 2024, at Vaughn Funeral Home in Weston; followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service. Interment with military honors will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Weston.

She was the Library Director in Troy, Kansas for over 30 years.&nbsp;

Lois married Melvin Owens on September 5, 1970, at the Christ Lutheran Church south of Wathena, Kansas. He survives of the home. &nbsp;Lois was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Peggy Ratcliff and Louise Kirby.&nbsp;

Sharon Ruth Springstead, 83, Everest, KS, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, at her home in Everest, KS.

Sharon was born February 21, 1940, in Atchison, KS, the daughter of Sumner and Vivian (Neese) Butler. She graduated from Atchison County Community High School. Sharon worked as a warehouse foreman at the storage caves in Atchison, KS. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. Sharon would make little doll dresses and little doll quilts and give them to little girls. She and her husband went everywhere together, and their Newfoundland dogs would load in the back of the truck.

Sharon married Keith Springstead in August of 1957; he survives of the home. She is also survived by a daughter Nancy Springstead, Everest, KS, sons, Wayne and Kristi Springstead, rural Holton, KS, Karl Springstead, Everest, KS, grandchildren, Kari and Pat Irvin, Kurtis and Rachel Springstead, Kadi and Mike Atteberry, Bailey Springstead and Ryan Springstead, great grandchildren, Alex and Kelsea Irvin, Adalease, Logan, Lillian Springstead, Charlotte, Sadie, Kacy Atteberry.She was preceded by her parents, brothers, David, Howard, Pardee, Arthur and Carly Butler and a sister Dorothy Smith.

Ronald Edward Cline, 76, of Atchison, Kansas died January 15, 2024, at Kansas City Veterans Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.

Funeral service will be held 9:30am, Monday, January 22, 2024, at Faith Bible Fellowship Church in Atchison, Kansas, with burial following a Leavenworth National Cemetery. Pastor Stephen Lucas will be officiating the service. Visitation with the family will be 6-8pm, Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Faith Bible Fellowship Church. Ronald was born October 1, 1947, in Highland, Kansas the son of James and Betty (Hill) Cline. He was a 1966 graduate of Atchison High School. He married Judy Downing on October 12, 1968, and she survives at the home. He served in the United States Airforce and received the rank of Sergent. Ron was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship, and enjoyed serving as a youth pastor for twenty years, serving at the men’s prayer breakfast and spreading the word of God. He also was an animal lover and enjoyed trout fishing.

&nbsp;Ronald is survived by his wife Judy, son; Ronald (Amy) Cline, daughter; Susan (Chris) Robinson, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, brothers; Tom (Connie) Cline, Danny Cline, Mike (Betty) Cline, Paul (Tracy) Cline, sister; Cheryl (Sammy) Hitchens, and sister-in-law, Diane Cline. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; James Cline, Gary Cline, and sister-in-law, Cathy Cline.
