John William Kline, 72, of Agency, MO passed away July 6, 2025.

He was born on July 24, 1952, to Charles Graham and Alice Florence (Kelsey) Kline in St. Joseph, MO. John grew up in Agency and 1971 he graduated from East Buchanan High School.

On December 29, 1984, he was united in marriage to Vicki Rennae Amthor at Frazier Baptist Church. Vicki passed away on April 4, 2020.

He was an associate member of the Agency United Methodist Church and a member of the Frazier Baptist Church.

John was a lifelong farmer and raised Black Angus cattle. He also worked for the USDA as a field crop and grain bin inspector and was a volunteer auctioneer. He loved taking people around the rural areas, showing them different farms by car and his side by side. Most of all, he loved being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Vicki Kline; his parents Charles and Alice Kline; his sister Mary Alice Budine; his brother Wayne Kline; his great-nephew Preston Budine and sister-in-law Sara Kline.

John is survived by his son Steven Kline and wife Molly; his grandson Reid Kline; his brothers and sisters Charlie (Clara) Kline, Jim (Judy) Kline, Susy (Stan) Jaggars, Jeanie (Greg) Goodman, and Nancy (Jerry) Rodgers; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Alfred Landon Springs, Jr, 83, of Camden Point, MO passed away, July 3, 2025.

He was born on June 27, 1942 to Alfred Flandon and Leola (Graham) Springs in Oregon, MO. Al grew up in Platte County and graduated from North Platte High School. He then served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Al lived most of his life in the Camden Point and Dearborn area. He was married to Deanna and she preceded him in death in 1995.

He worked for Quaker Oats for over 30 years and was a part time farmer. He was an avid sports fan. Al enjoyed coaching, weightlifting, taking pictures, and gardening.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Barbara Gail Springs; and stepsister, Glenna Knapp.

Al is survived by his children, Valerie Jean (Tim) Main, Darrell Springs, and Wayne (Yukini) Springs; their mother, Ruby Springs; grandchildren, Bobbie, Jody, Shelbi, Zac, and Lana; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Springs and Kenny (Bernie) Springs; sister, Beverly; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Bobby Lee “Bob” Oyer, 80, of Atchison, KS died on Friday, July 4th, 2025, at the Atchison Medicalodge ,

Bob was born on Sept. 24, 1944, in St. Louis, MO the son of Earl and Frances (Dee) Oyer. He graduated from Nevada High School, Nevada, MO in 1962. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Bob, after returning from the service, worked as a chipper &amp; grinder for the former LFM-Rockwell-Bradken Foundry, Atchison for 45 years. He was a Charter Member of the Faith Bible Fellowship Church, where he served as a Deacon and Song Leader. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 6, and the V.F.W. Post # 1175, of Atchison. Bob enjoyed bowling, fishing and hunting.

He was married to Judith “Judy” Summerfield on June 8, 1963. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include two sons Kevin and Scott Oyer, Atchison, KS, He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025, at the Faith Bible Fellowship Church with Rev. Stephen Lucas officiating. Linda Louise Burton, 80, formerly of Lancaster, KS passed away and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, at the Easton Health Care Center, Easton, KS.

Linda was born on August 16, 1944, in Decaturville, MO, the daughter of Floyd “Pete” William Layton and Mary Evelyn (Hollyfield) Vermillion. She was united in marriage to Gilbert Cargille Burton on August 30th, 1969; he preceded her in death on July 9th, 2024.

Linda graduated from Northeast High School, Kansas City, MO. Early on, she worked as a typist for the Missouri Pacific Railroad and was a Teamster’s member. She spent many years as a homemaker and was a 4-H volunteer for various projects and co-leader of the Lancaster Lightning 4-H Club. Once her kids were grown, Linda worked various jobs including seamstress at Atchison Leather, student loan processor, and receptionist in the Admissions Office at Benedictine College. She was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church, where she had been a song leader and Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed reading, singing gospel music, embroidery, crocheting, and sewing. Linda loved children and watched not only her grandchildren, but also other children over the years. She considered each of them as part of her family and they loved her back. She will be dearly missed by all her friends and family.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her brothers, Floyd Vermillion and Gerald “Jerry” Vermillion. Linda is survived by her sisters Mary Brown, Rayville, MO and Wanda Fowler, Raytown, MO; her brother Freddie Vermillion, Lake of the Ozarks, MO; her children Cynthia L. (Robert) Hesser, Leavenworth, KS, Richard Allen (Maggie) Burton, Lebanon, OH, Elizabeth Moore, Lancaster, KS, and Robin (Jaime) Zapata, South Riding, VA; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and many other loving family members. Shirley Hans February 8, 1943-July 1, 2025

Barry Ellsworth Kreek was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on March 13, 1951. He was one of two children of Thomas Ellsworth and Claire Florence Anne (Sames) Kreek.&nbsp;

Barry graduated from Oregon High School in 1969, and later from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1973 with a degree in electrical engineering.

While in Columbia he met and later married Beverly Jo “Bev” Breedlove. They were married in Pagosa Springs, Colorado in 1974, and they became parents of three children. They made their home in Oregon, Missouri, where Barry operated Kreek’s Grocery Store and later the Citizens Bank of Oregon. Barry was active in the Oregon community. He was a Kiwanis member, and was also past president of the Missouri Independent Bankers Association.&nbsp;

Barry passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2025 at a St. Joseph care center at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Bev, of their Oregon home; children, Andii K. (Douglas) Irwin, Matthew T. (Beth A.) Kreek, and Elizabeth A. (Mark) Quick; sister, Cynthia A. Pulliam; and grandchildren, Jaxson and Kennedy Jobe, August Irwin, Madalyn Kreek, Isabella William, Guinnyth and Julia Quick.

Barry Kreek March 13, 1951-July 3, 2025

Vernon Thomas Stegman (Tom), 88, Lathrop, MO, was called back to the presence of our Heavenly Father on July 2, 2025, at Liberty Hospital.

Tom was born on the family farm in Berlin, Missouri on September 11, 1936, the son of Vernon “Boone” and Hattie Stegman.

Tom lived in the Berlin area throughout his childhood and graduated from King City High School in 1954. Tom worked on the family farm alongside his brother, Harlen, and later raised various livestock, but mostly cattle.

He married Theodosia Raper-Libeer in 1978. They celebrated 33 years of marriage prior to her death on November 22, 2011.

Tom was a man of God who walked humbly with the Lord and cherished the written word. He was a lifetime member of the Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Berlin. He was a faithful servant of God serving as a deacon, song leader, and Sunday school teacher. Tom’s motto was to live by the essentials of faith which included unity, liberty, love, knowledge, and understanding which he demonstrated daily. He lived his life as though he was looking through the Lord’s eye. His love for the Lord was something he shared with his children and grandchildren, leaving a mark on their lives that will never fade.

Tom was hard-working and dedicated. He spent four years working as a Wonder Bread delivery driver prior to his 42 years at TWA and American Airlines in Facility Maintenance. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions. After retiring he volunteered for hospice, sitting with patients talking, praying, and singing to them.

Though Tom may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He loved his family dearly, making each of us feel special and cherished. Tom always left you with a big hug and an “I love you more.” He was a man of great stature. He had unconditional love for all and loved each person in a way that made them feel special. He was a man with a big loving heart that had many wonderful qualities such as integrity, kindness, compassion, generosity, forgiveness, inspiring, and humble. He was truly the hands and feet of Jesus in all that he did.

Tom's hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed serving the Lord, reading, singing gospel music, fishing (especially catfish) and hunting with his boys, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Royals, and Kansas City Chiefs games, avid bird watcher (aka hummingbird whisperer), helping neighbors in need, and spending time with his family.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Theodosia; parents, Vernon and Hattie Stegman; and brothers, Donnie Ray and Harlen Stegman.

He is survived by his children, James Stegman, Kansas City, MO, Vicki (Bob) Edwards, Tonganoxie, KS, Kevin (Jill) Stegman, Gower, MO, and their mother Patricia Dierenfeldt-Kirk, Kansas City, MO, Eugena Libeer (Lance), Kansas City, KS, Rachel Sanders, Kansas City, MO, James Lewis (grandson raised by Tom and Theo) &nbsp;Phoenix, AZ and 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

He was a lifetime member of the Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Berlin. He was a faithful servant of God serving as a deacon, song leader, and Sunday school teacher. Tom’s motto was to live by the essentials of faith which included unity, liberty, love, knowledge, and understanding which he demonstrated daily. He lived his life as though he was looking through the Lord’s eye. His love for the Lord was something he shared with his children and grandchildren, leaving a mark on their lives that will never fade.Tom was hard-working and dedicated. He spent four years working as a Wonder Bread delivery driver prior to his 42 years at TWA and American Airlines in Facility Maintenance. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions. After retiring he volunteered for hospice, sitting with patients talking, praying, and singing to them.Though Tom may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He loved his family dearly, making each of us feel special and cherished. Tom always left you with a big hug and an “I love you more.” He was a man of great stature. He had unconditional love for all and loved each person in a way that made them feel special. He was a man with a big loving heart that had many wonderful qualities such as integrity, kindness, compassion, generosity, forgiveness, inspiring, and humble. He was truly the hands and feet of Jesus in all that he did.Tom's hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed serving the Lord, reading, singing gospel music, fishing (especially catfish) and hunting with his boys, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Royals, and Kansas City Chiefs games, avid bird watcher (aka hummingbird whisperer), helping neighbors in need, and spending time with his family.Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Theodosia; parents, Vernon and Hattie Stegman; and brothers, Donnie Ray and Harlen Stegman.He is survived by his children, James Stegman, Kansas City, MO, Vicki (Bob) Edwards, Tonganoxie, KS, Kevin (Jill) Stegman, Gower, MO, and their mother Patricia Dierenfeldt-Kirk, Kansas City, MO, Eugena Libeer (Lance), Kansas City, KS, Rachel Sanders, Kansas City, MO, James Lewis (grandson raised by Tom and Theo) &nbsp;Phoenix, AZ and 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.&nbsp; &nbsp;Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8 at the First Baptist Church, King City, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, King City, MO. Ralph Taylor, born on January 3, 1939, in Leavenworth, Ks, passed away peacefully at his home in Leavenworth, on June 29, 2025, leaving behind a life rich in experience and touched by a loving family. Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Ephriam Rusala Taylor, his mother, Beatrice Taylor and his siblings; Louise Collins, Mabel Taylor, Anne Marie Taylor, Vernon Taylor, Robert Taylor, Rusala Taylor Jr., Leon Taylor, Frank Taylor, and Larry Taylor.

In addition, he was preceded by his beloved wife, Laura Taylor whom he married in 1960, and his cherished daughter Leona Williams. He held in his heart the memory of his two departed grandchildren, Nathaniel Williams and Yvonne Williams.

In April 1959 Ralph met his wife Laura Mae Taylor while serving in the U.S Airforce. In 1963 he relocated to California from Leavenworth Ks. Where he lived with his wife and daughter until relocating back to Leavenworth Kansas in 1988.&nbsp;

Ralph was an honorable man who devoted a portion of his life to serving his country. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1956 and retired in 1964. Later, he began a noble career at V.A. Medical Center in 1982 and retired in 1989. His dedication to service did not stop there, as from 1990 until his retirement in 2006, he ran a state-licensed home daycare with his wife, providing care and guidance to countless children.

Ralph was a lifelong learner who valued education. He graduated from The University of Saint Mary, Leavenworth, KS with a B.S. in Human Resources in 1992. In which he made the who's who book by nomination of his professor. He further enhanced his education by earning an M.S. in Social Gerontology from The University of Missouri-Kansas City, Holmes Street, Kansas City, MO in 1994.

A man of faith, for many years, Ralph was an active member at St James CME Church. He was deeply involved in the church. He served on countless boards during his membership. He was a member of the trustee, men's choir, food committee, and the men's fellowship board.&nbsp;

He found joy in simple pleasures. Among those, watching his favorite TV show, Jeopardy, which held a special place, he also enjoyed fishing and cooking.&nbsp;Ralph’s unwavering strength, boundless wisdom, and selfless service to his family, country, and community will forever be remembered. He will be missed dearly by all those whose lives he touched.

Ralph leaves to mourn his loss his loving Surrogate grandson Jamaal X. Hall, his loving great grandchildren Nathaniel Williams Jr, Gianna Parks, Isaiah Williams, his loving surrogate daughter and niece Erica Robinson, his loving surrogate son and nephew Terrance Robinson, his loving godchildren Shaunessy and Brittany Smith, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Joseph Enderle, who departed this life peacefully. John was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend whose presence brought warmth, wisdom, and humor to those fortunate enough to know him.

John was preceded in death by his father, Carl Enderle, whose memory he held close throughout his life. He is survived by his three loving children: Jacob Enderle (Kyle) son of Cindy Shaver, Logan Enderle (Hannah), and Olivia Enderle, children of Linda Enderle, each of whom carry forward his strength, kindness, and legacy.

He is also survived by his devoted mother, Rita Killgore, and his brothers, Kenneth Enderle (Teresa) and Douglas Enderle (Kevin), who shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and brotherhood with John.

Deeply rooted in his community, John was an active member of the Plattsburg Fall Festival Committee, where he gave generously of his time and energy to help bring joy and tradition to his hometown. He was also a faithful and dedicated member of Broadway United Methodist Church, where he was involved in preparing and serving dinners for the community, contributed his time and talents to church maintenance, and shared his love of music through his longtime commitment to the choir and praise team. His quiet leadership and generous spirit were felt by all who worshiped and served alongside him.

Steven Carl Schuster, 72 of Gower, MO passed away July 1, 2025.

He was born on October 27, 1952, to Jewell C. “Bill” and Dorothy Maxine (Moore) Schuster in St. Joseph, MO. Steve grew up in Gower and graduated from East Buchanan High School.

Steve married Jean Arnold, they had two children Kelly and Melynda and his step-daughter Taci and they later divorced. On October 5, 1991, he was united in marriage to Terri Morrow Evans. They lived in rural Gower where they made their home. After their retirement they traveled the United States and for the last 5 years they lived in Yuma, Arizona. They recently returned to the area.

He was a member of the Gower Christian Church.

Steve worked for Schuster Farms, Purina, BMS and retired from Johnson Controls. He and Terri were local D.J.’s owning A Night to Remember. Steve taught himself how to drive a team of Belgium Quarter Horses and would drive them in parades and give people rides. Steve enjoyed farming, helping anyone and everyone he could, had a love for music and spending time with friends. Most of all Steve loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Maxine Schuster; his step-daughter Beth Ann Evans; and his grandson Alex.

Steve is survived by his wife Terri Schuster; his children Kelly Schuster, Melynda (Sean) Barnett, Deeanna (Steve) Lichtenegger and Daniel (Lori Blake) Evans; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six sisters; his fur babies Bella and Harry; numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.

Marilyn Kay Goodlet, 72, of Faucett, Mo., went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2025. She was born July 20, 1952, to Lowell (Poodle) Laurence and Catherine Laurence and lived her childhood years in New Market, Mo. She attended North Platte High School, graduating in 1970. Marilyn attended Missouri Western State University where she earned a degree in biology.

As a high school student, she was a talented basketball player and flute player in the band. She often earned the top honors at regional and state music competitions. Her interest in science and her passion for youth led her to become an admired biology teacher at Mid-Buchanan High School, with a career spanning 31 years. During that time she greatly enjoyed leading students in science fair competitions, including earning several prestigious opportunities to compete at the International Science Fair. She enjoyed spending hours after school helping students with their projects, and many referred to her as a second mother.

She shared her love of music to play the piano and organ at New Market Christian Church for more than 30 years alongside her sister-in-law, Sheila Goodlet. She was an active and committed member of New Market Christian Church across her lifetime. Marilyn was an excellent cook and prepared big meals for farm crews when the family was raising tobacco. She loved to grow a large garden and canned many vegetables in the summer months, which she shared often with friends and family. Sheila Goodlet and the late Steve Goodlet often traveled with Marilyn and Mike to antique stores and Star Trek conventions, and she lovingly called herself a Trekkie.

Her greatest love was her husband, Michael. She finished college early so they could get married and begin their life, with a dedicated and strong marriage of 53 years. She loved her 12 grandchildren equally and enjoyed babysitting whenever she could.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Catherine Laurence; in-laws B.H. and Bonnie Goodlet; a son-in-law, Luke McCoy; brother-in-law Steve Goodlet; and nephew, Justin Stubbs.

Marillyn is survived by husband, Michael Goodlet; son Mark and wife Katie Goodlet of Columbia, Mo., and their children Kamryn and husband Zach Peters of Kansas City, Mo.; Emma and fiancé Dawson Meierotto of Columbia, Mo., and Paige of Columbia, Mo; son Matt and wife Lynn Goodlet of Foristell, Mo., and their children Nathan, Macie, and Tessa; daughter Rachel and husband Gary Ellis of St. Joseph, Mo., and children Elliot, Noah and Ben McCoy; son Devin and Monica Goodlet of Faucett, Mo., and children Liam, Jack and Evie. She enjoyed a loving group of friends and colleagues from the Mid-Buchanan and North Platte communities.

He was born March 4, 1960 in St. Joseph, son of Cecelia "Sue" Lieffring and Joseph Rivera. Taco married Margaret Clary on May 19, 2001. He spent many years working as a Truck Driver. Taco loved his Harley and going fishing. He always had a way to make you laugh.

Betty Louann Peters 65, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at her home. She was born June 25, 1960 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Betty and William &nbsp;"Bill" Kuehner. She graduated from Benton High School class of 1979 and married David Peters on September 21, 1979. She worked in the Animal Health industry most recently at Argenta animal health. Betty enjoyed taking care and loving her grandkids, and she was a Christian.

Betty was preceded in death by parents, and son Jason Peters, &nbsp;Survivors include husband, David Peters of the home, sons, Sean (Dawn) Peters, St. Joseph, MO, and Patrick (Patty) Kuehner, Salt Lake, UT, grandchildren: Haleigh, Jadynn, David, Makayla, Brinley Peters, Allen &amp; Alex Kuehner, great grandchildren: Baylor McPike, Greyson &amp; Jace Kessler, sister, Sandy (Rob) Duncan, brothers; Bill (Rikki) Kuehner, Victor (Jennifer) Kuehner, Pat Kuehner, and Mike Kuehner, and her in laws, Jerry &amp; Elaine Peters.

Tommy Hershel Hopper, 74, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

Stuart Wynn Schneider, 65, Weston, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025.

He was born November 8, 1959 in St. Joseph to Richard and Beatrice (Kenyon) Schneider. Stuart grew up in St. Joseph and graduated from Benton High School, where he earned a varsity letter in running. He then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia.

After leaving MU, he worked on a farm for awhile then began a long career as an over-the-road truck driver, first for Keim and then in recent years at Old Dominion.

Stuart cherished time working on his 40-acre farm near Weston, Missouri, 20 acres of which were in the Missouri Conservation Department Wildlife Management Program, where he also got to be with his beloved dogs, Walter, Jacob and Shiloh.

When not at the farm, Stuart loved to go to auctions, scoping out and bringing home any cast-iron skillets and Red Wing pottery he could find, among many other unique treasures.

Stuart leaves a legacy as a loving dad and grandpa who loved time with family and friends. He had a special bond with his daughter and kindred spirit Abigail, who lovingly took care of him since his diagnosis and the final nine months in her home in Kansas City. The family is grateful to her for easing their father’s passage.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Schneider; and sister, Rissa Kay Glick.

Survivors include his mother, Beatrice Schneider; children, Amanda Klindt (Dustin), Hillary Davies (Chris), Abigail Ervie (Jeremy), and Courtney Schneider; grandchildren, Aleydis, Emsley, Oaklan, Icelyn, Elijah, Austin, Brooks, Avery, and Oliver; brother, Richard Schneider (Sharon); numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

Corbon Curphey was born on April 4, 2016 at Mosaic Hospital in Maryville, Missouri to Amanda and Micheal Curphey.

He was a fourth Grader at Bedford Elementary School and participated in sports such as: Soccer, dance, wrestling, and football. He loved going to school, math, drawing, flowers, skipping rocks, and games.

Corbon will be greatly missed and survived by his immediate family: mother and father, Amanda and Micheal Curphey, along with his brothers, Connor and Carson Curphey. He will be greatly missed and survived by his grandparents: Lori and Randy Hunt, Roberta and Mark Dredge, and Mike and Bobbi Curphey. He will be greatly missed and survived by his uncles: Tim Curphey, Dustin Curphey, Andrew Akes, Douglas Hunt, and Mason Dredge. Along with his Aunts: Erin Fuston and Susan McClarnon.

Diana Carlson, 79, of Smithville, MO passed away, June 6, 2025.

She was born on April 15, 1946 to Kenneth and Nana (Bunch) Vance in Kansas City, MO. On February 2, 1975 she was united in marriage to Richard Carlson. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City and in 1986 they moved to Smithville.

Richard and Diana owned and operated Omega Bookstore in Metro North Mall for 25 years.

She was a member of the River of Life Church for 30 years and recently a member of the Family Worship Center in Smithville.

Diana was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and daughter Deborah Ruth Carlson.

She is survived by her children, Rachel Carlson (Wendi Adams), Philip (Lab) Carlson, and Matthew (Lia) Carlson; grandchildren, Beatrix, Theodore, Izabellah, Edward, Magnolia, and August; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Burial was held at Second Creek Cemetery.

Lawrence Joseph Boos, of Atchison, Kansas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 68.&nbsp;

Lawrence, known to many as Larry, was born on October 18, 1956, to Clarence “Bud” Boos and Patricia “Pat” Boos, and was raised in Denton, Kansas. He attended Midway High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in business from Missouri Western State University. On June 3, 1988, he married the love of his life, Sheila Boos. Together, they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and family.

Larry was a man who found joy in the simple things—casting a fishing line on a quiet morning, camping under the stars, spending time in his garden, and cheering on his Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino and more than anything, treasured spending time with his family. His love of westerns was obvious from his collection of Stetsons, guns, and boots.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sheila Boos; his three children: daughter Abby Martin (Efrain), son Nicholas Boos, and daughter Lillian Paige Boos; and his six cherished grandchildren: Elijah Martin, Ean Martin, Alise Martin, Addalynn Martin, Lailie Duran, and Killian Hamilton.

Larry is also survived by his siblings: David Boos (Rita), Janet Boos, Jerry Boos (Carol), John Boos, Thomas Boos (Barbara), and Mark Boos; his cousin Diane Pickman (Steve); sister-in-law Victoria Hegarty; sister-in-law Mary Perkins (Joseph); brother-in-law Timothy Hegarty; and sister-in-law Terri Hegarty.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Patricia Scherer; and in-laws Patrick &amp; Lillian Hegarty, as well as Pat &amp; Julie Hegarty, and Michael Hegarty.

Larry’s life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Benedict Church in Atchison with Rev. Jeremy Heppler, OSB as celebrant. A rosary will be on Monday, July 7th beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Giving NuHope, St. John’s Oratory or Amberwell Atchison Hospice in care of the funeral home.&nbsp;

Judith ‘Judy’ Lee Beierle (née Gray), 82, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, in her home surrounded by loved ones.

Judy was born on November 29, 1942, in the city of St. Joseph, Missouri, to Carl and Eleanor Gray. She attended Benton High School in St. Joe and St. Joseph Junior College before graduating from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1964, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English and education. She worked as a teacher, a substitute teacher, and in retail. Judy loved playing bridge, Uno, and Scrabble throughout her life. In her younger years, she excelled in needle work, embroidery, and sewing. She sang in her church choir throughout her life and sang in the Bluebonnet Chorale of the Highland Lakes for many years after moving to the Hill Country.

Judy was known for her charismatic personality, sense of style, and her indomitable optimism. She loved reading, particular classic mysteries and historical fiction. She loved collecting antique furniture, figurines, and housewares. She loved animals, particularly cats and greyhounds.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Charles Beierle; her daughters, Robin Henning and Emily Beierle-McKaskle; and her grandchildren, Austin Henning, Abby Henning, Adeline McKaskle, and Henry McKaskle. She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Gray; her step-father, Marcus Caton; and her mother, Hope Eleanor Gray.

Services will be held at her church of many years, St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 201 RM 1431, Marble Falls, TX 78654, on July 11th, 2025, at 2:00 pm.

Christopher Michael Koon, 19, of Horton, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at his home.

He was born on September 17, 2005 in Topeka, the son of Michael and Gayleen Kreitzer Koon. &nbsp;He graduated from Onaga High School in 2024.

Survivors include his mother, Gayleen Koon (Joseph Roan) and his father, Michael Koon, all of Horton, his maternal grandmother, Carol Beaman, Topeka, his paternal grandmother, Kelly Koon, Horton, four sisters, Meaghan Harrison, Topeka, Reaghan Koon, Mayetta, Emily Carl, Horton and Lilly Carl, in Texas, and a brother, Austin Kreitzer, in Germany.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. &nbsp;Inurnment will follow at the Wetmore Cemetery. Ashley Dawn Muncy, 37, Skidmore, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025.

She was born on July 30, 1987, to Larry Marlon Windham Sr. and April Marie Andrews in Hermiston, Oregon.

Ashley graduated from Wathena high school and spent the past couple of years working on Dollar General, meeting people and helping them. On February 27, 2018, she married Bradly Dean with whom she shared life, the ups and downs, but always together.

She loved the water, that’s why she would love going to the beach or the lake with her kids and spending the time there playing in the water and having the best time with them.

Survivors include her husband, her parents, her 6 children, Kaden, Gracie, Javier, Chase, Clayton and Chloe, and her siblings Larry Windham Jr. (Shawna), Chris Windham (Missy), Tim Windham (Dickie) and Billy Windham, as well as a host of extended family and friends that will deeply miss her presence.

Stephen Ray Simon, 69, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away June 30, 2025. &nbsp;Stephen was born July 7, 1955 in St. Joseph, to Ray and Shirley (O'Bannon) Simon. &nbsp;

He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp from 1973 - 1975. &nbsp;

He lived in the State of Washington for 44 years where he worked for Boeing and for Food Service America. &nbsp;He loved baseball and had tryouts with the Seattle Mariners and the Oakland A's. &nbsp;He liked to hike the mountains and in later life enjoyed watching movies.

Survivors include sister Cynthia Simon; brother Cliff and Lysa Simon, aunts, Delila Paulus, Leanna Sandlin; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
