Edward L. “Eddie” Stockwell, 71, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025.
He was born April 24, 1954 in St. Joseph to Paul and Chloe (Campbell) Stockwell.
Eddie married Brenda Archer in 1975 and to this union two sons, Eddie and Steven, were born. The couple later divorced. On November 18, 2006, he married Jacki Tucker, who survives of the home.
Eddie retired in 2018. He had previously worked at American Family Insurance, Quaker Oats, and most recently was a transportation officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections.
His legacy was donating more than 340 units of blood in his lifetime.
In his younger years, Eddie played baseball and softball, wrestled, hunted, fished, and bowled. He was on a state tournament championship team in softball and had bowled multiple 300 games. Later in life, golf became his passion.
A thoughtful, good husband, brother and father, Eddie loved his precious grandchildren and was well-loved by all of his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Chloe Stockwell; siblings, James Livingston, Paul Livingston, John Livingston, Jerry Livingston, Jacky Livingston, Kay Guy, and Vicki Martinez; and his beloved French Bulldog of 13 years, Tank.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Jacki; children, Eddie and Steven Stockwell; stepdaughters, Paige Lai and Taylor Kalemkiarian; grandchildren, Brady, Brett, Alexis, Jaxon, and Gracie Stockwell; step-grandchildren, Tildy and Romy Lai, and Jack and Kit Kalemkiarian; sisters, Judy Masters and Debi Whitlock (Tim); and other extended family members and friends.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 13, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donors to give blood, or donate contributions to the Community Blood Center – St. Joseph.
