Dorothea Marie “Dorothy” Moser was born on December 5, 1929. She passed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 96 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
She was the daughter of Charles B. McCue and Ethel (Woodward) McCue, who preceded her in death.
Dorothea graduated from Savannah High School and received her B.S. in Education from the University of Missouri in Columbia, where she won several cooking competitions. She later went on to earn her master’s in education at night while working at Gene Field Elementary School teaching sixth grade. She loved to travel, visiting most of the European countries, as well as Australia and Egypt.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Moser Jr. and three sons, Mark Richard Moser, Steven Lee Moser and James Kent Moser.
She is survived by sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews, her dear friend Mel Jenkins and countless other friends.
Graveside Farewell Services and Interment 9:00 A.M. Thursday, December 11, Memorial Park Cemetery. The procession will leave from Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
