Sue Anne Molder, 54, of Troy, Kansas passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at her home.

Sue was born on June 5, 1969, in Kansas City, Missouri to Virgil and Nanette (Barry) Molder.

She worked as a waitress in various jobs, being everyone’s favorite waitress.

She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Molder.

Survivors: spouse, Brian Franken of the home. Children, Jacob MacKnight and Danielle MacKnight. Siblings, Steven Molder, Jennifer Kaufman, Rebecca Arnold and Tammy Wright. Mother, Nanette Kordes. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Florence (Flo) Sutton (Spencer) 92, of Savannah, MO passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Mosaic Life Center. She was born January 3, 1931 to William and Alice Marie (Eaton) Spencer. She married Richard Sutton on January 19, 1979 and he preceded her in death in 1993.&nbsp;

She was raised in Savannah and attended school in Savannah. She traveled extensively and lived in many places such as Los Angeles, California and Fairbanks, Alaska. Her careers were varied, from working as a Nurses Aid at Methodist Medical Center, to co-owning a jewelry store, to doing in home health care in later years. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sister Myrtle Monaco, her children Margaret Starling (Calvin Starling), Patricia Durbin, and Michael Durbin (Sami Yerganian), grandchildren, Byron Brushwood, Paul Durbin (Pandora Durbin), and Seth Durbin, and great granddaughter Morgan Durbin. &nbsp;She was proceeded in death by her husband Richard Sutton, her parents William and Alice Marie Spencer, her brother William Spencer (Jr), Frederick (Fritz) Spencer, and Donald Spencer. &nbsp;

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home in Savannah, MO. The family will receive friends 9:00am - 10:00 am Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the funeral home. A private family burial will be in King City Cemetery at a later date.

Donald Eugene Chesser, 83, of St. Joseph, MO passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at his home surrounded by family. He was born October 26, 1939 in St. Joseph, son of Gladys "Ruth" and Elix Chesser.

 He graduated from Lafayette High School, class of 1957. He married Christine "Chris" Boling on August 29, 1959 in St. Joseph. Don was a professional Truck Driver and member of the Teamsters Local Union in St. Joseph and Kansas City. He worked for Affilliated Foods and Crouse Carriage Company, retiring in 1999. Don was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion, Post 359. He enjoyed traveling, going camping, dirt bike riding and hill climbing and loved hunting. Don was a good handy-man and all around fixer upper. Don was a longtime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. 

Preceding him in death are his parents, Gladys "Ruth" and Elix Chesser and great-granddaughter, Sondra. 

Survivors include wife of 64 years, Chris Chesser, of the home, daughters, Lucinda "Cindy" (Bob) Rilinger of Kansas City, MO, and Patricia Chesser of Kentucky, brother, Gary (Marla) Chesser of St. Joseph, grandchildren, Tyler James, Cassie Chesser, and Spencer Suman, great-grandchildren, Stella, Elijah, and Stan, niece, Shari (Scott) Matchell and nephew, Lenny (Mary) Chesser, and many cousins.

She graduated from Benton High School. Donna worked at Chase Candy Company. Her hobbies included reading, and sewing and crocheting. 

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Paul Nash.

Marjorie Gail Wilson 95, of Saint Joseph, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in a &nbsp;Saint Joseph, MO hospital. She was born December 17, 1927 in Emmett, KS, daughter of the late Bernice and Matthew Rezac. 

Marjorie earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in education from Emporia State Teachers College, and a Master of Science in Education from The Northwest Missouri State College in Maryville, MO. She married Adelbert “Del" Wilson on February 19, 1954 in Onaga, KS. Marjorie was a lifelong school teacher, retiring from Mid Buchanan School District and Doniphan County Special Services. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and embroidery. She crocheted many stocking caps for her grandson’s Marine platoon during their deployment in Afghanistan, and for the members of the 139th Aerial Port, prior to their deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. She loved children, making cookies for the neighborhood kids, spending time with her family, attending their sporting events, and traveling with her husband Del. Marjorie was a member of Missouri State Teachers Association, and the Jolly Workers Club. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Adelbert "Del" Lee Wilson, brothers, Clayton, Robert, and Don Rezac, sister, Rosalie Clymer, brothers-in-law, CA Boswell and Earl Clymer, and one great grandson, John Michael Griffin. 

Survivors include children: Margo (Jess) McPhee, Stewartsville, MO, Wade (Phyllis) Wilson, Kincaid, KS, Gayle (David) Delaney, Gower, MO, Dane (Pam) Wilson, Jefferson City, MO, and Rhys (Kristina) Wilson, Savannah, MO, 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, sisters, Rheva Boswell and Linda (Bill) Price, and sisters-in-law, Virginia Rezac and Barbara Rezac.

Ralph married Bonita Sue Best on October 29,2011. She survives of the home.

He worked at Atchison Casting for 12 years.

Ralph enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and riding his motorcycle.

It is with mixed emotions of sadness and joy that we announce the passing of Jesse Martinez Lopez, Sr. on September 28, 2023. Sadness, in that he will be missed by his loving wife and children, but joy because he is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Born on April 17, 1939, in St. Joseph, Missouri, Jesse lived a life full of service, love, and dedication to his family and community.

He was a proud member of the United States Navy, serving his country with honor and distinction. After his military service, Jesse joined the United States Postal Service, where he worked for 32 years before retiring in 1996. His commitment to service extended beyond his professional life. He was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and a past member of the CIP Committee of St. Joseph, Little United Nations, and Mexican Fiesta.

Jesse was a passionate supporter of Missouri Western athletics, particularly women's basketball. His love for sports was not limited to being a spectator. He took great pleasure in supporting his grandchildren at their sporting events, cheering them on from the sidelines with pride and enthusiasm.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Gertrude. Their marriage, which began on February 3, 1962, was a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Jesse is also survived by his children, Dr. Jesse Lopez II (Stormyee), Maria Burnham (Scott), Dominic Lopez, and Veronica Hupp (Jim). He was a proud grandfather to Rachel Ard (Kenny), Jesse Lopez III, Ricardo Lopez (Ty), Abigail Lopez, Josiah Lopez, Cooper Lopez, Austin Hanis, Scottie Burnham (Shaylynn), Tyler Burnham (Darby), Ashlee Hendrix (Mark), Elijah Mejia, and Christian Mejia. Donald “Donnie” W. Summers, 73, of Lathrop, MO passed away with loved ones by his side on September 28, 2023.

He was born on April 10, 1950 to Donald Rupert and Geraldine Adell (Hallmark) Summers in Smithville, MO. Donnie grew up in Smithville and graduated from Smithville High School in 1968.

On November 26, 1976 he was united in marriage to Tina Collier. After their marriage they lived in Smithville and in 1997 they moved their family to the farm in Lathrop.

Donnie was a third-generation farmer. He farmed with his dad, son and grandsons from Smithville to Lathrop and everywhere in between. He was awarded the longest standing seed dealer for Taylor Seed Farms by his very close friend, Brad Taylor. Donnie was a volunteer firefighter for Smithville Fire Protection District. He was a member of the Northwest Street Machine Nationals. He was an avid supporter of the Chiefs and Royals and enjoyed attending the Half Century of Progress Farm Show for the past 10 years. From the time he got his license his love for horsepower grew every year. Donnie had a love for motor sports and especially drag racing and tractor pulling.

He is survived by his wife, Tina; children, Curtis (Amy) Summers, Jessica (Jeromy) Romesburg, and Lesli (Travis) Lager; grandchildren, Madyson Beard, Ethan Summers, Trevor Adams, Melanie Lager, and JD Wayne; twin great-granddaughters, Emberlynn and Taelynn; sister, Connie (Dave) Lytle; and brother, Dannie (Beverly) Summers; mother-in-law, Gerrie Collier; honorary family member, Steve (Missy) Fisher; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.&nbsp;

Margie was born on May 9, 1927, in Wathena, Kansas to John and Hilda (Hartman) Bauman. She graduated Wathena High School in 1946.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Charity Rebecca Lodge, and VFW Women’s Auxiliary all of Wathena, Kansas. Margie sold Avon for many years.

Margie married Clayton Herr on August 4, 1946, in Atchison, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Elmer and Melvin Bauman.

Survivors: son, Cliff (Marilyn) Herr, Stillwater, Oklahoma. Daughters, Janet Jeffers, Highland, Kansas. Denise (Terry) McAfee, Oregon, Missouri. Grandchildren, Sheila (Jim) Hennigan, Highland, Kansas; Heather (Scott) Yates, Stillwater, Oklahoma; Nathan Herr (Sarah), Collierville, Tennessee; Logan Herr, (Shara), Sacramento, California; Lindsey Payne, St. Joseph, Missouri, Carrie Gregoire, St. Joseph, Missouri, and Aaron Payne, (Julianna) Forest City, Missouri. Great-grandchildren, Megan Sommers ((Matt); McKinley, Jace, Mya, and Morgan Hennigan; Elle and Emma Yates; Hendrik and Aurelia Gregoire; Cooper, Archer, and Carter Payne. Great-great-grandson, Grant Sommers. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Gerald (Jerry) E. Cogdill, 63, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023.

He was born July 15, 1960 to Alva and Shirley (Dinwiddie) Cogdill in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Jerry graduated from Lafayette High School.

He was employed as a laborer for Mead Products, GA Thompson, Roderick Sign, and Blue Tree.

Jerry loved watching the blue chickens(Jayhawks)and the Chiefs play. He was an avid motocross racer and fan all his life and enjoyed attending races with his friends and family. He loved spending time around the table with his friends especially, Jay, Jimmy and Johnny as well as hanging out with his family and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Survivors include his brother, Mike Cogdill (Lisa) and his nephews, Trevor Cogdill (Abbi) and Dylan Cogdill (Kelsey) and his great niece and nephew.

For those of you that knew him well rest assured Harold is up above, having a Budweiser watching over us all.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation under the direction of Simplify Cremations &amp; Funerals.

Krystle Wolfenbarger, 31, Savannah, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023.

She was born on February 5, 1992, to Robert A. and Tammy L. (Howard) Wolfenbarger in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Krystle attended Savannah High School and earned her diploma in 2010. Her caring, nurturing heart led her to pursue a career as a nursing assistant at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. She enjoyed providing comfort and care to the elderly patients she worked with.

She was an animal lover who enjoyed cooking, music, dancing and her newly discovered love of gardening. She was an avid horror movie fan, with Halloween being her favorite holiday. Each year, she created intricate costumes and theatrical makeup for her children.

Above all, Krystle was a dedicated mother. Her children were her world, and she spent every opportunity making cherished memories with them.

Krystle was taken too soon from this world, and she leaves behind a multitude of loved ones who miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Michael Dyer; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Mildred Howard, and paternal grandmother, Carol Yager.

Paula M. Amrein, died Sunday, August 21, 2023, at the age of 72.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 14, at St. Benedict's Church with Fr. Jeremy Hepler, O.S.B. as celebrant and Deacon Frank Olmsted assisting. Inurnment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A parish rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m., followed by visitation at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Mount St. Scholastica, St. Benedict Church Building Fund, St. Benedict's Abbey, or the Mayo Clinic and may be left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Paula and her late husband, Michael J. Browne, will be laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Cemetery following the mass.

Paula was born June 20, 1951, in Atchison, the oldest daughter of Edwin J. Amrein and Pauline Baumgartner Amrein. She attended and graduated from St. Benedict's Grade School, Mount St. Scholastica Academy, and Benedictine College. She also attended Highland Community College,

Ottawa University, and received a Master’s in Education Administration, from Benedictine College.

Paula and Michael J. Browne were married on July 14, 2000, in Emporia, KS. Mr. Browne preceded her in death January 20, 2021.

She had a long career in teaching. She taught elementary through college level students in valley Falls, KS, Big Rapids, MI, Atchison, and Platte City, MO. She was a foreign language instructor (Spanish and German) and taught English as a Foreign Language. Most of her teaching was at Maur Hill Preparatory School and Plate County R3 School District, retiring in 2017.

Paula was a woman of many interests and talents. She was a voracious reader on a variety of subjects and worked with her hands. She was a skillful basket weaver, seamstress, and baker. She always seemed to be working on a project, in the earlier years it was baskets, blankets, and refinishing furniture. In recent years, it was counted cross stitch and rag quilts.

She was an accomplished pianist and organist, playing for church services and tor enjoyment. Many years ago, she worked in a local floral shop and continued to enjoy designing and creating arrangements for family and friends’ weddings, and other occasions.

Survivors include her sisters, Elaine Amrein, Atchison, Mary Beth and Jerry Vadnais, Wichita, KS, Margie Holben and Joseph Bellon, Lansing, MI, COL (Ret.) Marian Amrein, Atchison, Alice Amrein and Tracy Underwood, Atchison, and Dorothy and Brad Gibson, Atchison, and her brothers, Edwin F. and Karen Amrein, Wellington, KS, and James and Kelley Amrein, Cave Greek, AZ. Survivors also include numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and sister Jane T. Baker.

Adrath Mae Thomason, 88, of Kansas City, MO passed away on September 24, 2023. Adrath was born on April 23, 1935 in Dunnegan, MO to Adrath Ronald and Eula Mae (Johnson) Thomason. 

She attended Liberty High School Later she Married Rolland Lee Thomason in Liberty, Missouri on May, 8, 1953.Adrath was a night phone operator for REA, She was a Cook For Platte County middle and high school Cafeteria. She also worked as a surgical prep room attendant at the hospital. She also was a foster Parent. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister: Anne Barbee, and sons: Randall Thomason, Dwaine Thomason. 

Adrath is survived by brothers: Ronald Baker (Carol), Zane Baker (Vicki), Gene Baker, her children; Kathy Byrd, Russell Thomason, and Rodney Thomason (Denise) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Adrath Mae Thomason (Baker) 1935 - 2023

LG Stevenson, born September 2, 1933 in a log cabin in rural Morgan County, Missouri passed away at the age of 90 on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. 

The son of Bertha and Clarence Stevenson, LG graduated from Benton High School, class of 1951. Following graduation, he worked for Swift &amp; Company, marrying Geraldine Marie Brown on August 15, 1953 in St. Joseph; he was drafted into the US Army where he served during the Korean War from 1953-1955.   Following his honorable discharge from the Army, LG worked at Swift &amp; Company in the Sliced Bacon Department for another 11 years, leaving in 1966 to work for Insurance Services Office as a Field Rating Representative, where he retired after 30 years.  Alongside his wife, Geraldine, he owned and operated Stevenson Tax Service for over 45 years. LG proudly built two homes, in which he raised his family. He was a man of faith. He was raised in the Lake Ave. Missionary Baptist Church, where he was saved in 1964. At the Church, he served as a Deacon and as a Trustee. 

 LG was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Russell Stevenson, Claude Stevenson and Floyd Stevenson.  All four of these brothers (including LG) were considered surrogate parents by their respective nieces and nephews and will never be forgotten.

LG Stevenson, born September 2, 1933 in a log cabin in rural Morgan County, Missouri passed away at the age of 90 on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. The son of Bertha and Clarence Stevenson, LG graduated from Benton High School, class of 1951. Following graduation, he worked for Swift &amp; Company, marrying Geraldine Marie Brown on August 15, 1953 in St. Joseph; he was drafted into the US Army where he served during the Korean War from 1953-1955. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, LG worked at Swift &amp; Company in the Sliced Bacon Department for another 11 years, leaving in 1966 to work for Insurance Services Office as a Field Rating Representative, where he retired after 30 years. Alongside his wife, Geraldine, he owned and operated Stevenson Tax Service for over 45 years. LG proudly built two homes, in which he raised his family. He was a man of faith. He was raised in the Lake Ave. Missionary Baptist Church, where he was saved in 1964. At the Church, he served as a Deacon and as a Trustee. LG was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Russell Stevenson, Claude Stevenson and Floyd Stevenson. All four of these brothers (including LG) were considered surrogate parents by their respective nieces and nephews and will never be forgotten. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Daniel Donan on September 22, 2023. Born on March 14, 1972, Dan was an unforgettable presence in the lives of everyone he met, remembered for his love, enthusiasm, and willingness to take the road less traveled.

He leaves behind Rhys Donan, his loving son.&nbsp; His mother, Juanita Donan, his partner Melanie Stewart, his sisters, Jeanette Westfall and Mariann Hawk, and his cousins, Pinetree Donan and Gwenevere Helzer, also survive him, carrying with them the love and wisdom he imparted. He also leaves behind too many friends to count, all who consider themselves fortunate to have known and loved him.

Dan was predeceased by his father, Robert Donan, whom he held in treasured memory.&nbsp; The two enjoyed a great adult friendship and had many a political argument over the kitchen table.

Known for his adventure-seeking spirit, Daniel loved role-playing games and venturing into the depths of the imagination. These fantastical journeys were not merely a pastime, but a reflection of his own approach to life: one of curiosity, courage, and boundless exploration.

Dan loved deeply and lived fully, enriching the lives of those around him with his passion, empathy, and infectious humor.

The greatest lesson he left behind was the echoes of his mantra: "Enjoy your life." Through these words, Daniel encouraged us all to savor every moment, find joy in the simplest of things, and above all, to love and be loved.

Leslie Albert Auten 77, of St. Joseph, MO passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at his home in St. Joseph, MO. He was born April 28, 1946 in Sheridan, MO, son of the late Florence and Pete Auten.

 He graduated from Grant City High School and married Tama Herd on September 24, 1966. He served in the United States Navy for 4 years and 16 years with the Missouri Air National Guard is a veteran Viet Nam War. He worked at Wire Rope in the maintenance department, Boehringer Ingleheim, Sara Lee as a Boiler Operator. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his church group, hunting, collecting guns, reloading ammunition, attending car shows with his rebuilt 1965 purple Barracuda but most of all spending time with his family. He was a member of American Legion, CMA Christian Motorcycle Association, serving as the Vice President and Chaplain and the Abundant Faith Church of God serving as the clerk and a Deacon. 

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, son in law, Jimmy Wilson, brother, Ralph Auten, sisters, Virginia Robison, and Vera Hamblin, brother, Duane Auten and brother in law, Russ Coleman.

 Survivors include wife, Tama Auten of the home, daughters, Christa Wilson, St. Joseph, MO, and Dana (Jon) Haywood, Caruthersville, MO, 5 grandson's: Larry Sample III, Spencer (Lauren) Haywood, Casey (Amanda) Haywood, Taylor (Brittany) Haywood, and Chandler Green, sisters, Vivian Coleman, Hopkins, MO, sister in Law, Donita Auten.&nbsp;

Helen Maxine Evans Young died on September 15, 2023 at LaVerna Senior Living, Savannah, MO. She was born March 3, 1926 in King City, MO, to Everett and Stella (Williams) Evans, who proceeded her in death. 

Maxine graduated from King City High School in 1944.On April 8, 1949 she married Russell E. Young. They were married for 60 years, living all their married life in St. Joseph, MO. Russell proceeded her in death on May 14, 2009.Maxine worked at three local banks, retiring from American Bank after 30 years. She then retired from K-Mart in 2002. She also volunteered for InterServ and Kendallwood Hospice. 

Maxine was a member of the Robidoux Rebekeh Lodge for 38 years, having held several offices. Maxine was of the Christian faith.

She was proceeded in death by her brother, W.D. "Bill" Evans and his wife Helen, sister, Geraldine Bracken and her husband Charles, brother-in-law, Marion Spiers, and son-in-law, John Hood. 

She is survived by three daughters; Jacqueline Zimmers, Powhattan, KS, Constance Rankin and husband Michael, St. Joseph, MO, and Marilyn Rodriguez-Hood, St. Joseph, MO. Seven grandchildren; Vickie (Barry) Schuetz, Rhonda (Caleb) Crook, John (Candice) Zimmers, Christina (Brad) Sievers, Trisha Rodriguez, Brandon (Kristen) Rodriguez, and Brittany Rodriguez. Nine great-grandchildren; Carolyn Schuetz, Alexandra Crook, Raven, Ava and Liam Zimmers, Abigail and Ava Sievers, and Crosby and Charleigh Rodriguez. Four step great-grand-children, Devon, Dennis, Vienna, and Scarlett Bruna. One great-great grand-daughter, Briar Chilcoat, and one great-great grand-son, Wyatt Tripp Huestis. She is also survived by her sister, Martha Spiers, Maysville, MO, and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services 1:00 PM Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the King City Cemetery, King City, MO. Maxine has been cremated under the direction of Rupp Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the staff of LaVerna Senior Living, Savannah, MO, for their love and compassion shown to mother while in their care. She was born February 11, 1944 in Oshkosh, Nebraska to Paul and Viola (Chesmore) Morgan.

Dorothy loved John Wayne and her cable TV Cowboy Channel. She enjoyed puzzle books, puzzles and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Landra; and four siblings.

Survivors include her children, Annette, Bill Jr., Michelle, Randy, Starla, Troy, Floyd, and Shawn; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family; and her canine companion, Tidbit.

Wanda Fern Noll, age 92, of Atchison, KS, died Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the Atchison Senior Village.&nbsp;

Private family services will be held with interment in Sunset Memory Gardens. Cremation care has been entrusted to the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.&nbsp;

Wanda was born on November 19, 1930, in Oak Mills, Kansas, the daughter of the late Charles G. Hoffman and Iris (Davies) Hoffman. She graduated from Atchison High School before attending Atchison Vo-Tech.&nbsp;

She worked as a secretary for Burkart Exterminators and later owned and operated Wanda’s Liquor Store until retiring. She enjoyed multiple trips to Las Vegas, she visited there over twenty-five times, for a week or more at a time and was well known at most of the local casinos.&nbsp;

She is survived by her children, Darla Enzbrenner, of St. Joseph, MO; a son, Dr. Nicholas (Laura) Noll, of Smithville, MO; her spouse and love of her life, David E. Pickman; her grandchildren, Curtis Noll,II, Amanda (Patrick) Myer, Sophia Enzbrenner, Rachel Noll, Nathan Noll, Ellie Noll, Allison Smith; seven great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Ellen Noll.&nbsp;

Wanda married James W. Noll on October 22, 1950, at the Carol Baptist Church in Atchison; he preceded her in death on August 15, 1976. She is also preceded in death by her son, Curtis Cameron Noll; a grandson, Bradley David Noll; and a sister, June Swordy.

David W. Barber, 54, of Atchison, KS, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 22, 2023, at his home.

David was born on July 22, 1969, in St. Joseph, MO to John and Karen Barber.He attended Atchison County Community Schools and lived in Atchison most of his life.

He was proceeded in death by his father John Barber.

Survivors include his mother, Karen Barber, Cummings, KS, two sisters Debbie (Marlin) Fuhrman, Cummings, KS, and Sandy (Jack) Healy, Atchison, KS and one brother, John Barber Hollister, CA, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
