Kathy A. Ashworth, 73, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025.
She was born June 24, 1951 in Searcy, Arkansas, to the late Jessie and Mary (Johnson) Campbell.
Kathy married Dennis Ashworth on February 6, 1971.
She was a registered nurse in Obstetrics at Mosaic Life Care for 40 years.
She was a fan of gambling, which showcased her adventurous spirit and love for a bit of excitement. Kathy could often be found rolling dice in a friendly game of Yahtzee, going on fishing expeditions, and bowling. Kathy was known for sending everyone off from her home with treats.
She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Brandon Polsgrove.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Dennis; children, Dena McDonell, Joey Ashworth (Tammy), and Holly Ashworth (James); grandchildren, Dakoda (Ryan) and Kayla McDonell, Preston Ingrim, and numerous others; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Kauffman, Kingsley and many others; siblings, Linda Hankins (Ron) and Jesse Campbell (Terry); nephews, Greg Polsgrove and Davey Campbell.
Celebration of Life 5:00 P.M. Friday, Preferred Community Center, Savannah, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to an organization of the donor’s choice.
