Larry Ervin Allwood, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home in Maysville, MO, on August 26, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on June 4, 1942, to Ervin (Bud) and Ethel (Grace) Allwood, Larry was a lifelong resident of Maysville, where he made an indelible mark on the community.

On July 7, 1968, Larry married the love of his life, Rochele Ann (Dent) Allwood, with whom he shared over five decades of marriage. Together, they raised three children: Richard (Karen) Allwood, Michele Allwood, and Patty Allwood, who were the pride and joy of his life.

Larry was the proud owner and proprietor of Eastside Tavern in Maysville, a cherished local establishment he ran for 50 years. Known for his warm smile and friendly demeanor, Larry took great pleasure in visiting with his customers, many of whom became lifelong friends. The tavern was not just a business for Larry; it was a place where memories were made, and community ties were strengthened.

In his spare time, Larry enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time with his family, taking trips to the lake, fishing, and boating. He had a particular fondness for scratching lottery tickets and hunting for mushrooms, activities that brought him joy and relaxation.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and his daughter-in-law. He is survived by his loving wife, Rochele; his children; his cherished grandchildren: Austin (Laura) Blevins, Sammantha Allwood, Jordan Allwood, Erin (AJ) Ripp, Victoria Allwood, Briley (Chrystal) Allwood, Pete Wills, and Emma Laipple; and five beloved great-grandchildren: Sophia, Nathan, William, Nevaeh, and Malachi. His legacy of love, kindness, and community will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Larry will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to bring warmth and smiles to those who remember him.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday,&nbsp;August 31, 2024, at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, with inurnment immediately following at Shambaugh Cope Cemetery.&nbsp;Family will receive friends prior to the service&nbsp;from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

James E. “Jim” McCubbin, 94, Atchison, Kansas died Monday, August 26, 2024, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Nicole Schwartz-Eck officiating. &nbsp;Visitation with the family will be Thursday at 10:00 until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Wathena Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, or charity of donor’s choice and they may be left in care of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Jim was born September 1, 1929, in Lancaster, Kansas the son of Thomas L. and Ida E. Jahne McCubbin. He attended Sunny Hill rural Route School in Effingham, Kansas then Atchison County Community High School from 1944 thru 1945 in Effingham and then Atchison High School for two years graduating in 1947. He was a 1972 graduate of Southern Police Institute University of Louisville, Kentucky: a 1978 graduate of Missouri Western College in St. Joseph, MO and a 1982 graduate of Homicide Investigation, FBI Academy, Quantico, VA.

He and Mary M. Maycroft were united in marriage on June 8, 1952, in Atchison, Kansas.

Jim served from March 15, 1952, until December 30, 1965, with the Atchison Police Department as a top rank detective Lieutenant; and from January 1, 1966, until March 1, 1987, as a special agent for the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and from 1987 until March of 2002 in contract investigation in the federal office inv. (OPM Division); and from 1987 until his retirement, he served as a self-employed wedding photographer.

Jim served in the United States Air Force from 1950 until his honorable discharge in 1951 as an Airman.

Survivors include four daughters, Pamela K. “Pam” Schwartz, Atchison, KS; Virginia L. “Ginny” (Mark) Bailey, Atchison, KS; Julia L. “Julie” (Jeff) Houston, Grain Valley, MO; Darla J. McCarver, Springfield, MO; and two granddaughters, Nicole Schwartz-Eck (Jeremiah) and Maryl Chapman (Roland); and one great grandson, Cole James Eck. &nbsp;One sister-in-law, Rosie Maycroft, Atchison, KS. &nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and both parents and two sons-in-law, Dr. Jack Chapman and Jack McCarver.

From 1966 until 1987 he was a member of Metropolitan area Major Case Squad (Metro Squad), Kansas City, MO; in 1977 he was named as “Honored Citizen” by the Atchison Kiwanis Club; was a board member of United States Selective Service System; Salvation Army disaster service; a volunteer member of the Atchison Hospital Auxiliary and an active member of Atchison United Methodist Church where he held all offices during his fifty plus years as a member. He was a life member of Fleming-Jackson-Seever Post #6 of the American Legion and a fifty-year member of the Masonic Lodge #158.

Melva was born on May 5, 1939, in Denver, CO, the daughter of Harry C. and Elizabeth (Scofield) Searles. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1957 and earned her Licensed Practical Nurse certificate from the Atchison Hospital. Melva worked as an LPN for the Atchison Hospital, Dr. Tayiem’s Office, Atchison Medicalodge and then retired from the Outpatient Clinic at the Atchison Hospital. She was an active member of the former United Methodist Church in Lancaster, serving as an Adult Sunday School teacher, as financial secretary, on the Outreach Committee and the Lay Leadership Committee. She enjoyed reading, raising flowers in her flower garden, and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Melva was married to William Wells in 1959. They were later divorced. She was married to Raymond Harrison in June 1969, and he preceded her in death in August 2004. Survivors include a son, Bill (Carol) Wells, Maple Hill, KS, a daughter, Shelley Pruett (Jim Buttron), Lancaster, KS, three stepdaughters: Sherry Pennington, Easton, KS, Belinda Jacobson, and Kimberly Winston, both of Kansas City, MO, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband Ray Harrison, and a grandson Bryce Pruett, preceded her in death.

George enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing pool, and working on cars and motorcycles.

She was born August 8, 1949 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Dallas M. Sr. and Verlea M. (Widener) Kretzer. Sherry graduated from Lafayette High School in 1967. She later graduated from Front Range Community College with her associate’s degree in science and electronics. She had retired from Avaya Communications after 35 years.

Sherry married Gary Coon on December 21, 1968.

She was a member of New Home Baptist Church, Red Hat Society, and AFL-CIO.

Sherry was an avid Broncos fan. She also enjoyed reading and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gary; sisters, Mary Vaughn and Pamela Stewart.

Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie Coon, Michelle Gentile (Alfonso), and Goldie Brix (Steve); grandchildren, Jesse Meyer (Beth) and Shondra Aitchison; great-grandchildren, Valery Acevedo-Mancia and Everett Meyer; numerous siblings, nieces, and nephews.

James "Bill" F. Stewart, 75, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024 at his home. He was born November 18, 1948 in Wallace, MO, son of Jane and Wentlo Stewart. 

He attended Benton High School. Bill married Karen Leach on July 3, 1979 in St. Joseph. He served in the Army, and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a long time Truck Driver working many years primarily at Barlow Truck Lines, and he Owned/Operated his own truck for several years. He enjoyed playing cards, spending time with his animals, and his time at home. In his younger years, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. 

He was preceded in death by mother, Jane Stewart - Nell, father, Wentlo Stewart, step-daughter, Lori Ellis, and brother, Thomas Stewart. 

Survivors include: wife, Karen Sue Stewart of the home, children, James "Jimmy" Stewart Jr. and Christina (Terry) Jennings, all of Iowa, sister, Ina (Steve) Cox of St. Joseph, brother, John (Jackie) Stewart of Fillmore, MO, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Rupp Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday. Entombment will take place in Mt. Born April 8, 2018 in Hungary, K-9 Horus was a joyful and fun German Shepherd. He joined the Savannah Police Department in February 2021, after completing an extensive eight-week training with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department, Horus was accomplished in drug detection, search and rescue, evidence recovery, building and article searches, and criminal apprehension. He faithfully served and protected his community with 121 complete deployments, 76 drug indications, 47 drug seizures and 49 arrests. His contributions to the Savannah Police Department will forever be appreciated and remembered.&nbsp;

Horus enjoyed his work, running and swimming, his family, and his partners in blue. Most of all he delighted in any time he could spend chasing around basketballs or soccer balls.

Lola Fern Morrison Chenoweth Swartz, 92, of Stanberry, MO, passed away on August 23, 2024. She was born to parents Dallas Morrison and Grace Coburn Morrison, on September 25, 1931 in Stanberry, MO.&nbsp;

Lola worked as a Cap Factory Machinist and at &nbsp;Dunbrook Apparel Corp. in Lexington, MO for many years until retirement.

Lola enjoyed growing flowers, feeding and watching birds and gardening. Bob and Lola spent many summers camping and loved spending most of their time at Lake Nehai in Marceline, MO.

Lola was married to Emmett Chenoweth until divorced and they had 5 children, Robert Chenoweth, Jean Chenoweth Bratcher Rogers, Twila Chenoweth Ball Cook, Carol Chenoweth Kendall Woods and Bill Chenoweth. She later married Bob Swartz, and the family grew with Bob's 4 children, Gary Chamness, Jerry Chamness Spoon, Bobbie Swartz, Tonya Swartz.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dallas and Grace Morrison, sister Lois Marie Morrison; and brothers Lloyd Morrison of Colorado; John (jay) Morrison of Kearney, and Marvin Morrison of Savannah; Emmett Chenoweth of Darlington; and Bob Swartz of the home.

Lola is survived by Robert Chenoweth of Savannah, MO; Jean Chenoweth Bratcher Rogers (Mike) of De Soto, KS; Twila Chenoweth Ball Cook of St. Joseph, MO; Carol Chenoweth Kendall Woods (Clint) of Higby, MO; Bill Chenoweth of Savannah, Gary Chamness (Diana) of Gray Summit, MO; Jerry Chamness Spoon (Marilyn) of San Antonio, Texas; Bobbie Swartz (Kelly) of Harrison, MO, Tonya Swartz Van Sandt (Robert) of Branson, MO.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Cremation will be at Heaton-Bowman-Smith &amp; Sidenfaden Chapel. There will be a private family memorial at a later date.

Eric Sims, 61, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024.

He was born September 13, 1962, to Lester and Carolyn (Battagler) Sims in Titusville, Florida.

He graduated from Mulvane High School in 1981. He enjoyed playing for the high school football team.

At the age of 17, Eric joined the Mulvane Fire Department as a volunteer EMT. This opportunity impacted his life in many ways.

He later attended Butler Community College.

Eric met Paula Denise Cluck in June 2002. The couple had their first date five days later, Saturday. Three days later, Tuesday, he proposed, and she happily accepted. They were married November 16, 2002.

Eric was a happy-go-lucky guy with the best jokes and sense of humor. He enjoyed going to conservation areas to forage for mushrooms and other edible plants. Eric was also an excellent marksman. He loved to play strategy/war board games.

He had a lifelong interest in aircraft, and from a young age he could tell you the model name and type of different aircraft.

He worked at Boeing Military as a manufacturing engineer for 25 years. He was known to have a set of dice at his desk. He later worked at Winglet Technology for 10 years.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Sims; their son, Adam Cluck (Willow); his parents, Lester and Carolyn Sims; brother, Fred Sims (Janet); father-in-law, Darrell Cluck; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles who will continue to cherish his memory.

Alfred Donald “Don” Lindsay, 94, of Smithville, MO passed away, August 23, 2024.

He was born on October 20, 1929 to Charles Richard and Maude Ruth “Peggy” (Simpson) Lindsay in Kansas City, MO. Don grew up in the Smithville area. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.

On October 7, 1950 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Jane Rule. After their marriage they lived in Lenexa, KS and Smithville where they made their home.

Don worked for Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. After his retirement, Don and Betty, spent the winters in Mission, Texas. Don liked to tinker with things a was a fixer.

Don was a member of the Smithville Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carla Mall. He was also preceded in death by his parents, brother, Richard Lindsay; and sister, Charlene Horn.

Don is survived by his wife, Betty; daughters, Debra Moore and Terri (Phil) Oropeza; son-in-law, Gary Huntley; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Bernard “Bud” O. Winger, 93 of St. Joseph passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at his home in St. Joseph. He was born in Bedford, IA on September 10, 1930 to Ronald Winger &amp; Mildred (Bird) Winger-Neller and graduated from Central High School. He married Marjory Moxley on April 22, 1952 in Atchison, KS and she preceded him in death on May 9, 1980. Bud married Martha Stanton on November 9, 1991 and preceded him in death on October 13, 2019.&nbsp;

Bernard was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, retired from Armour &amp; Co.in 1981 after 32 years of employment, and owned a cattle farm for 36 years until he moved to Savannah. Bud served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953 and fought in the Korean War with the 5th Regimental Combat Team, earning a rank of Sargent and 2 Purple Hearts. &nbsp;

Survivors include his children David (Cindy) Winger of St. Joseph, Marilyn Winger of Shawnee, KS, Galen (Carolyn) Winger of Dekalb, and Linda (Tom) Wolken of Shawnee, KS; grandchildren, Kristopher Winger, Ryan (Alxia) Winger, Bryn (Madison) Winger, Jarred (Samantha Goetting) Wolken, and Brady Wolken.&nbsp;

He graduated from Christian Brothers High School and served in the United States Air Force. He married Connie Boeh on February 25,1962, and she survives of the home. He was a partner of ASAP Bail Bond‘s for 30 years and spent the majority of his earlier working career in the insurance industry. Norman was a championship golfer who won more than 100 golf tournaments and loved all sports, but most especially he enjoyed coaching his sons ball teams in the early years. Norman’s greatest golf accomplishments were his 4 hole-in-ones and runner up in the United States Air Force championship. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. 

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Gene Clark.

He graduated from Benton High School, and worked at Quaker Oats. Brian loved all sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, and he formerly attended the Hyde Park Four Square Church. 

Brian was preceded in death by his parents.

James enjoyed fishing, performing, teaching and making people happy with his musical talents.

Angela R. Parrish, 56, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

She was born on November 12, 1967, to Salvador Sr. and Clementina (Ramirez) Vasquez in Abilene, Texas.

Angela started her romance with Ronald Parrish on May 5, 2001. On August 31, 2015, they were united in marriage. Ronald survives of the home.

She recently earned her PhD in Philosophy of Religion, which she was very proud of. She had a special interest in the supernatural and enjoyed studying this topic. She was very intelligent.

Angela enjoyed gardening, art, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was strong, hard-working and had a great sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her father, Salvador Vasquez Sr; grandson, Niklaus Fisher; and niece, Jacquelin Poierer.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Parrish; children, Brittany, Christina and Joshua Arant; grandchildren, Karius, Leonidas, Alistair, Prisais, and Mara June; her mother, Clementina Vasquez; and siblings, Rafael Vasquez, Anna Poierer, Maria Roush and Salvador Vasquez Jr.

Angela R. Parrish 1967 - 2024

ONAGA – Sally L. McCulley, 71, of Onaga, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Anew Healthcare in Holton. &nbsp;

She was born January 12, 1953 in Eunice, New Mexico. She was the beloved daughter of Cecil and Maureen Paulsen. She graduated from Sooner High School in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and married Charles E. McCulley, III on June 8, 1973 in San Antonio, Texas. The couple welcomed a son, Charles, IV. 

Sally is survived by her husband, Charles E. McCulley, III, her son, Charles E. McCulley, IV, and his wife Jennifer McCulley, who reside in California, along with her two grandsons, Sean and Liam McCulley.

She was a pillar of strength, and her life was a testament to love and loyalty. Her kindness knew no bounds; she was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. We will carry her legacy with us – lessons of love, resilience, unwavering support, and dedication that will continue to be a guiding light for us all.

She was the beloved daughter of Cecil and Maureen Paulsen. She graduated from Sooner High School in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and married Charles E. McCulley, III on June 8, 1973 in San Antonio, Texas. The couple welcomed a son, Charles, IV. Sally is survived by her husband, Charles E. McCulley, III, her son, Charles E. McCulley, IV, and his wife Jennifer McCulley, who reside in California, along with her two grandsons, Sean and Liam McCulley.She was a pillar of strength, and her life was a testament to love and loyalty. Her kindness knew no bounds; she was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Sandra Sue (Goold) Cusick, 78, of Oak Grove, Missouri passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, surrounded by her family after a long battle with dementia.Sandy was born March 11, 1946, in Fremont, Nebraska, to Jack and Ann Goold. 

Jack served in the Navy, and Sandy spent her early years living in Hawaii along with many other locations as she became accustomed to moving often. The family eventually settled in Chillicothe, Missouri. After Sandy graduated High School, she attended beauty school and became a beautician. She met and married Edward Russell Cusick in Chillicothe on June 4, 1966. Ed and Sandy were married for 58 years and had three children. Sandy had many jobs throughout her life that included being a Stay at Home Mom, Day Care Director, Manager, and Preschool Teacher. She loved working with children, and they loved “Mrs. Sandy.” She loved doing crafts and creating things for her family.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Ann Goold, and nephew, Chad Goold. 

She is survived by her husband; Edward Russell Cusick, children; Edward Russell (Rusty) Cusick, Jr. and wife, Wendy, Randy Cusick and wife Julie, and Wendy Alley and husband, Tony, grandchildren; Colby Cusick, Chris Alley, Jordan Alley, and Logan Cusick, brother Jack Goold, Jr and wife Jane, sister-in-law; June Kulhman and husband Don, nieces Kelly Fleming, Alicia Large and nephew Derek Kulhman.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Heaton-Bowman-Smith Sidenfaden Chapel, 3609 Frederick Ave, St. Joseph, MO. A visitation will take place before the service from 2:00-3:00 pm.

Jerry W. Ezzell, 91, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024.

He was born January 29, 1933 in St. Joseph to Orville and Alta (Westbrook) Ezzell. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School, where he was a member of ROTC.

He worked at Mead Paper Company for over 20 years, St. Joseph Structural Steel for 20 years, and was an officer for the St. Joseph Police Department.

Jerry loved his family and coaching his kids. He also coached for 29 years in women’s softball.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Ann; and two brothers, Orville Ezzell, Jr. and Phillip Ezzell.

Survivors include his children, Vicki Myers (Mike), Danny Ezzell (Carla), Terry Ezzell (Vickie), and Christopher Dean Ezzell; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Beverly Nagel (John).

Kearney Missouri….Beatrice Kay Ross passed away on August 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Bea was born on January 18th, 1947, to Harold Kieth Runyan and Susie Pearl (Parmley) Runyan. She was the youngest of 5 children.&nbsp;

Bea grew up helping her parents on a small farm south of Maryville and attending school. She was involved in the pep squad, journalism, choir and was a class secretary. There she met her future husband, Mick Ross. Bea graduated high school in 1965 and began attending Northwest Missouri State University pursuing a degree in education. In 1966 she began dating Mick and they were married on May 27th, 1967. They had two children, Clint Michael and Mickie Sue. After living in Independence and Savannah, they returned to Maryville in 1970. Bea worked in the athletic department at NWMSU and they both took classes to finish their degrees. Bea completed her Bachelor of Science in education in 1976 and began her teaching career in Stanberry, followed by a year of teaching in Grant City. In 1978 they moved to Stewartsville where they raised their family. Mrs. Ross taught English and Literature for grades 7-12. 

Bea was a class sponsor, coached the Academic Team and was the advisor for many award-winning year books.&nbsp;&nbsp;In 1991 Mick and Bea moved to Oak Grove where she finished her master’s degree, taught 8th&nbsp;grade English, college Prep English, journalism and coached the Academic Team until retiring in 2005. Bea loved teaching; she was passionate about her students and helping them succeed. She believed so much in education and the importance of vocabulary and the written word. She impacted the lives of thousands of students.&nbsp;

After retirement she spent her time attending activities of grandchildren, reading, traveling, camping and boating with Mick and their beloved dog Tilly.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents and siblings James Runyan, Etta Fesenmyer (Dale), Patricia Conrad (Walter) and Harold Runyan.&nbsp;&nbsp;She is survived by Mick Ross, Clint Ross (Kim), grandson Maxwell George, Mickie Altvater (Steve), granddaughters Michaela Brooke Lupo (Jared), Mackenzie Kay Altvater (Andrew) and grandson Thomas Ross Altvater (Alyssa) and great granddaughters Sammie Josephine and Elliott Kay.

A celebration of life will be held at Turner Family Funeral Home in Stewartsville on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024 at 2 pm.

Rita James of Warsaw, MO went to meet her Lord and Savior on August 17, 2024.

She was born to George and Rosie (Russell) Lunsford in Agency, MO on August 8, 1954. Her family later moved to New Cambria, MO where she graduated in 1972 from Macon County R-4. After graduation she worked at the MFA Exchange, then worked in several banks in Brookfield, Bucklin, and New Cambria areas, later moving to Marshall.

She married the love of her life, Randy, on November 12, 1988 in New Cambria. The new couple moved to Marshall where they began their married life together. They were now blending two families into one, bringing Christopher (Julie) Pate, Cory (Rhonda) Pate and Dustin James into this new couple’s family.

Warsaw/Truman Lake became Rita and Randy’s new home in 2003 which they dearly loved. Rita continued her career in banking until she became disabled in 2005. She then took on the role of a full-time homemaker, enjoying her passions of baking and working in her flower gardens.

The role of “Grandma Rita” first happened when Hayden was born. She was perfect! Next came Madison (also perfect). Evan was the first grandson, then came Connor and lastly Chloe. All were “Grandma Rita’s” pride and joy!

Other additions were brought into the family when Cory met Rhonda and her two children, Jacob and Asher.

Rita also got to enjoy two great-grandchildren, Tatum and Indie.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rosie; three sisters, Mary Brewer, Katherine Loubly, and Edna Moyes; sister-in-law, Linda Lunsford; brothers-in-law, James Brewer and John Moyes; daughter-in-law, Jami Pate; and two nieces, Sheila and Carla.

She leaves behind her husband, Randy; three sons, Christopher (Julie), Cory (Rhonda), and Dustin; two sisters, Betty (Louis) Kelim, and Violet (Richard) Weckman; brothers, George Lunsford, Lee (Sue) Lunsford, and Lyle (Peggy) Lunsford; mother-in-law, Betty Gladbach; sisters-in-law, Christina (Don) Nelson and Teresa (Jeff) Stacy; and brother-in-law, Derek (Beth) James. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Hayden (Truman), Madison (Jordan), Evan, Connor and Chloe; great-grandchildren, Tatum and Indie; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many friends and neighbors; and her four-legged kitties, Abby and Milo.

David Gordon Moore 66, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday August 19, 2024 at Smithville Lake. He was born July 3, 1958 in St. Joseph, Missouri son of the late Barbara &amp; Gerald Moore. 

He worked at Triumph foods as a Quality Control supervisor for over 14 years. David was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and riding his motorcycle. He was an avid Chiefs fan who enjoyed being around family and friends. 

David was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Lawrence Moore. 

He is survived by sister, Teresa (Steven) Petty, Clarinda, IA, brother, Randy Moore, Saint Joseph, MO, as well as numerous cousins. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home.
