Howard Flint, 82, Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022.

He was born October 10, 1939 in St. Joseph to Victor and Grace (Pontious) Flint.

Howard served in the Missouri Air National Guard and graduated from the University of Missouri Columbia with degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering and obtained his P.E. designation. His career was spent with Kansas City Power &amp; Light with over 35 years of service to the company. He was an avid Missouri Tiger football fan, enjoyed jazz music, and served as a Deacon at Northminister Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Renee Windsor (Jeff), Kristopher Flint (Ellis), Nicholas Flint, and Trina Weaner (Greg); grandchildren, Kaitlin, Tyler, Zachary, Emily, Samuel, Lauren, Jacob, Victor and Elizabeth; brothers, Paul and Kenneth Flint.

Matthew LeRoy McCullough, 53, St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022.

He was born on January 24, 1969, in Kansas City, MO.

Matthew grew up in Kansas City, MO. Matthew was an only child, however he did have several foster siblings. Matthew lived in Nevada, MO, Joplin, MO, Lamar, MO and in 2015 moved to St. Joseph, MO. Matthew worked at Specialty Industries since 2021. Matthew enjoyed going to church and spending time with friends. Matthew was loved by many and will be missed.

A Celebration of life will be held at Grace Evangelical Church, July 10th, 2022 at 12:30 in the Chapel with a dinner will follow.

Kendra L. Golden, 79, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022. She was born in Washington, D.C. to Kenneth and Mary (Windle) Burton on December 3, 1942. She was a member of ASPCA, and donated to their cause regularly. Kendra enjoyed taking care of her animals, sewing and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joe Sannipoli; and brother, Kent Burton.

She is survived by son, Vincent Sannipoli (Roberta); brother, Scott Burton; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Cremation under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home &amp; Crematory.

Stephen Tandy Michaels, beloved father, Pap Pap, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on July 5, 2022, at age 72. He was surrounded by family, love and prayer in his final hours. He is preceded in death by his parents Carl &amp; Doris Michaels. Even in his final days he showed such bravery and poise, reflecting some of the finest qualities he displayed throughout his life. Steve was born on May 6, 1950 in Surveyor, Pennsylvania. He enjoyed spending summers at his Uncle Joe’s place and often lamented on those special times with his family. Steve became an Eagle Scout and played football at East Pennsboro High School before graduating from Missouri Western State University. From the early days, Steve showed business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit. He worked for Carnation in first Pennsylvania and then later in Elwood, Ks. where he managed logistics. He later transferred to Chattanooga, Tennessee and Rochelle, Illinois with Nestle where he was the Director of Transportation. He was a founding member and CEO of BMS Logistics LLC in St. Joseph, MO upon his return to the area in the late 1990s. Steve helped expand the business to multiple states and sat on the Board of Directors until the time of his passing. Steve also established a mail truck line, Ashley Enterprises.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Steve also assisted in mentoring young entrepreneurs through the Craig Business School at Missouri Western.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Steve was a leader and a serious man, but he also knew how to have fun. He spent his free time with family and friends golfing, fishing, bowling, attending Nascar races and other sporting events. A hard read, his feelings and emotions were often a mystery except when he was enjoying life. His eyes sparkled and his contagious grin would light up the room in those moments. A Memorial Service and visitation will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church at 104 S. 7th St. in Wathena, KS. The visitation will be 6-8pm on Friday, July 8 and the funeral will be at 1:30pm on Saturday, July 9.&nbsp;

JoAnn Ernest (O'Neil) 1940 - 2022

William (Bill) Joseph Blankenship, born February 25, 1947, passed away July 2, 2022. Bill lived in St. Joseph for 73 years. Having moved to Albany in 2020 to be closer to his beloved grandchildren. In 1968 he married Linda R. Cobb who survives him. Together they raised two daughters, Rachel Blankenship/Irving (Stan) and Sara Fish (Thomas).

Bill was a veteran, having served in the Navy during Vietnam and in the Reserves when he returned home. He worked for Chicago Northwestern Railroad and retired from Varco-Pruden as a welder. He was an avid car collector. Throughout his 54-year marriage to Linda, she estimates that they had over 80 cars. He was a hunter, enjoyed fishing and had fond memories of Uncle Gene’s farm from when he was a boy. He enjoyed country life. He enjoyed his family. He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Virginia (McClanahan, sister Dola Ross and brother Robert; sisters in law Carol Adams and Nora Cobb; brothers in law Chuck Adams and Mike Cobb.

He is survived by Rachel Blankenship/Irving (Stan) and Sara Fish (Thomas); two grandchildren, Keeleigh and William; grandchildren by love, Diamond Simone, Shado Ross, Dezmon Grier and Jazz Irving; Three great grandchildren by love, Sa’Faiya Ross, Ti’Avian and Ja’Kobi Simone. William (Bill) Joseph Blankenship, born February 25, 1947, passed away July 2, 2022. Bill lived in St. Joseph for 73 years. Having moved to Albany in 2020 to be closer to his beloved grandchildren. In 1968 he married Linda R. Cobb who survives him. Together they raised two daughters, Rachel Blankenship/Irving (Stan) and Sara Fish (Thomas). Bill was a veteran, having served in the Navy during Vietnam and in the Reserves when he returned home. He worked for Chicago Northwestern Railroad and retired from Varco-Pruden as a welder. He was an avid car collector. Throughout his 54-year marriage to Linda, she estimates that they had over 80 cars. He was a hunter, enjoyed fishing and had fond memories of Uncle Gene’s farm from when he was a boy. He enjoyed country life. He enjoyed his family. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Virginia (McClanahan, sister Dola Ross and brother Robert; sisters in law Carol Adams and Nora Cobb; brothers in law Chuck Adams and Mike Cobb. Robert W. Crouch, 77, Country Club, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022 in his home.

He was vibrant and active up until his final moments, gardening, working, enjoying grandchildren, and engaging in the community. He was born on April 27, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri to Ralph and Floy (Reeves) Crouch. He grew up with two older sisters in Johnson County, Kansas, often spending summers working with his grandfather on the farm in Everest, Kansas. In high school, he played the tuba. He was a proud Eagle Scout. At an early age, he developed virtues of community service and patriotism that would be a thread throughout his adult life. Bob attended Kansas State University, where he met his wife, Vikki Kay Miller. They married in 1970. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from Indiana State University. Bob was a captain in the U.S. Army. He and Vikki spent the first 1 ½ years of their marriage stationed in Germany. They had two children, Elisa (Crouch) Tomich and Dean Crouch and was a beloved dad to both. Bob enjoyed logic and numbers. He spent his career as a certified public accountant, starting at Arthur Andersen &amp; Co. as an audit manager and eventually working independently as a financial consultant in St. Joseph. For 10 years he volunteered as a financial consultant to MidCity Excellence Community Learning Center, an organization he championed for its role in providing education and mental health support to youth in St. Joseph. He began serving as MidCity’s board treasurer in January 2022. He found purpose through volunteering and was a longtime member of the Downtown St. Joseph Rotary Club #32. He rarely (if ever) missed a meeting. Over the years he served in a number of leadership roles including several stints as the assistant district governor, as well as president from 2002-2003. He became the go-to person for club history and was passionate about maintaining the club’s financial integrity. He was a mentor to younger members, and was a source of wit and wisdom, and continuous encouragement. His support helped St. Joseph receive grants to fund an important project to help children experiencing trauma. He received the Paul Harris Fellow recognition for his contributions. He loved outdoors and open spaces. He and Vikki spent family vacations in Estes Park, Colorado, where he climbed Longs Peak in the 1980s. He eventually managed the family farm where he’d spent summers as a youth and received the Bankers Conservation Award in Brown County, Kansas in 2003. He served as treasurer of the Everest Alliance. Bob was an avid reader, often reading two books at once. He was a lover of U.S. history and had an insatiable curiosity about the natural world. He spent summers harvesting vegetables and wildflowers from his backyard gardens. Bob was a devoted grandfather. He read countless story books, pitched hundreds of whiffle balls, went on hikes, laughed at knock-knock jokes, and loved watching his four grandchildren play. He was a member of Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church. Bob was a devoted Christian whose faith increased over the years. His family finds comfort knowing he is at peace and with the Lord. Patrick H. McMurry, 74, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 30, 2022.

He was born on January 18, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to Wallace and Virginia (Elrod) McMurry. Patrick graduated from Riverview Gardens Senior High School in 1965, and then attended Southwest Baptist University prior to transferring to Missouri State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.

He married Sandra L. Breece on July 8, 1972 and they shared 50 loving years together. She survives of the home.

After serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, Patrick continued his education at Central Missouri State University, where he earned a Master’s degree in Economics. In 1981, Patrick earned his Doctorate in Economics from the University of Arkansas. His career brought him to Missouri Western State University, where he was a professor of economics from 1978 until his retirement in 2019. He was chairman of the Business and Economics Department from 1984-86 and again from 2006-08. As a credit to Patrick’s dedication to his students, he received the Jesse Lee Meyers Excellence in Teaching Award. Patrick also was a member and past president of the American Academy of Financial and Economic Experts, and he was frequently called upon by local media to provide perspective to current economic news and events.

Patrick felt strongly about giving back to his community. He performed economic impact surveys for the City of St. Joseph prior to the Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp relocating to Missouri Western’s campus and for the East Campus expansion of Heartland Regional Medical Center. He also dedicated time to performing demographic and survey analysis for the United Way and Allied Arts Council.

He was a longtime, very active member of Wyatt Park Baptist Church, where he was chairman of the deacons. Patrick taught the Sonshine Sunday school class at Wyatt Park for more than 30 years. Patrick enjoyed playing tennis, then later he took up walking to stay active. He was passionate about photography and involvement in his sons’ sports activities.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Sandy; sons, Chris and Aaron (Katie); granddaughter, Willa; sister, Jill; other extended family members and friends.

Larry Dean Ebling, 82, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

He was born September 9, 1939 in St. Joseph to George and Catherine (McGlothlin) Ebling.

Larry married Barbara McGowan on May 29, 2001. She survives of the home.

After high school, Larry went to work at R.G. Simon as a hog buyer and eventually bought the company. He worked there for more than 50 years. He enjoyed hanging out with his Stockyards friends after work. Larry liked hunting, fishing, gardening and bowling. While being a true Chiefs and Royals fan, he would root for whichever Missouri team was playing. He loved all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Sonny Ebling.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Todd Ebling (Nancy); stepchildren, Debbie Gertsch and Tim Schroeder; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Roger Ebling (Cheryl); sister Beverly Freeman (Larry); numerous extended family members and friends.

He was born Nov. 1, 1945, in Gloucester, New Jersey, to William R. Mooney and Regina E. (Kelly) Mooney.

He spent most of his life in St. Joseph. He Attended Eugene Field Elementary School and Graduated Central High School in 1964. He served in the Army from 1964 to 1967. In 1970, he joined the 139th Airlift Wing of the Missouri National Guard and retired a Master Sergeant, in 1994. He was employed by St. Joseph Light and Power for 35 years. Bill was a MSHSAA official for 34 years, working high school games in St. Joseph and Northwest Missouri, as well as youth football in St. Joseph. In his spare time, he was a ham (Amateur Radio operator). Cycling was a passion and he could be seen on his recumbent tricycle almost daily. In 2018, Bill moved to Sun City West, Arizona. He became involved in the Corte Bella Veterans group.

Bill is survived by: his wife, Ruth, of 50+ years; his children: son, Michael C. Mooney, St. Joseph, daughter, Kelly Ponce (Nate), North Liberty, Iowa; his brother, Robert R. Mooney (Stef), St. Joseph; sister, Marilyn Armfield (Phil), Sun City West, Arizona.

A Celebration of Life is being planned. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial gifts made in his name to a charity of donor's choice.

James F. “Jim” Jermain, 86, of Wathena, Kansas passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at the Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.&nbsp;

Jim was born on January 15, 1936, in Conception, Missouri to Benedict and Jessie (Imers) Jermain.&nbsp;

Jim served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1964. He was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Wathena, Kansas. Jim worked and retired from Wire Rope, St. Joseph, Missouri.&nbsp;

Jim married Dorothy Derks on August 23, 1958, in Clyde, Missouri. She survives of the home.&nbsp;

He was preceded in death by his parents, Siblings, Sister Mary Catherine Jermain, Bennie Jermain, Annie Gerhard, Margaret Burandt, John Jermain, Gertrude Wisdom, Rose Marie Jermain, and Vincent Jermain.&nbsp;

Additional survivors include his children, Don Jermain (Donna), Gary Jermain (Sheryl), Jerry Jermain (Stephanie) and Deanna Powell (Rob). 11 Grandchildren, sister, Agnes Stoll (Ed) and brother, Ray Jermain. Numerous nieces and nephews. &nbsp;

On June 26, 1956 he was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James and Rita (Nailon) Lefler.

He married Pam Clark on August 15, 1998. She survives of the home. Al attended the University of Colorado Boulder, then graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He was a corporate pilot for Bank of America in San Diego and Los Angeles, California flying many celebrities, professional athletes and ex-presidents. For the next 30 years, he was a Captain for Frontier and Van Guard Airlines.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Linda Lefler.

He is survived by his wife; children, Mallory and Alaina Lefler; sisters, Patty L. Lefler-Mallard (Ron) and Jennifer Lefler; brother, David H. Lefler (Katy); extended family and friends.

Lewis E. Hoffman, 90, of St. Joseph, passed away June 27, 2022 in his home surrounded by family.

He was born on February 7, 1932 to Mahlon and Tina Hoffman in Troy, Kansas.

Lewis married Sharon Gillenwater on October 2, 1964. She survives of the home.

He worked at Armour and Company for 31 years in maintenance. After his retirement, he worked for the Savannah School District. Lewis was an Army veteran. He received his 50-year pin as a 32nd Degree Mason. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles, camping, tractor pulls and attending antique steam engine shows.

Lewis was preceded in death by his parents and 6 brothers and sisters.

Additional survivors include his sons, Ted (Kathy) Hoffman and Tony (Pam) Hoffman; stepson Rick (Regina) Gillenwater; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Eunice Velma Duttweiler, 89, of Atchison, KS, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph, MO.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday June 30, 2022, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, with Rev. Craig Lantz officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison, KS. Eunice was born January 25, 1933 in Troy, KS, the daughter of Herman and Martha (Benitz) Gaul. She went to grade school and high school in Severance. Eunice was a cheerleader in high school, played basketball, sang in a girls’ choir in school. She took a correspondence course in accounting from Emporia State College. After graduation she worked at Dannen Mills Office, St. Joseph, MO. In 1954 she moved to Atchison, KS and worked in the County Treasury’s Office for seven and half years, Meyer Nuzum and Stecher’s Accounting Firm and finally in the payroll office at Midwest Grain Products for twenty-one years. She also worked part time as a tour guide at Cray Museum. In 1995 she took over the Sugar Cone Ice Cream Store in East Atchison (MO) and ran that for twenty-eight years, along with Quality Fireworks and Dee’s Christmas Trees. Eunice and her husband owned rental property in Atchison and Missouri and worked hard on that to keep things going. She traveled many places with her husband in Masonic functions. She was a member of Martha Washington Chapter #215, Atchison Order of the Eastern Star, past Worthy Matron many times and held many other offices. She was Past Grand Adah of the Grand Chapter of Kansas from 1980 to 1981. Past Grand Representative of Vermont in Kansas OES and had many committee appointments in Grand Chapter OES. Eunice was also Past Supreme Officer in the Supreme Assembly, Order of Beauceant. She was a member of Social Order of the Beauceat Assembly No. 24, Topeka, KS and dual member with Social Order of the Beauceat St. Joseph Assemble No. 123, St. Joseph, MO. In 1997 Eunice and her husband traveled with the Knights Templars on a tour to the Holy Land, Bethlehem and Jerusalem. In 2007 in celebration of their fifty years of marriage traveled to England, France, Switzerland, and Italy.

Eunice married Deeis Duttweiler on February 19, 1956, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Atchison, KS. Both are members of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Atchison, where Eunice served on Church Council, Social Ministry, fundraisers, and funeral dinners.

Her husband Dee of sixty-six years survives of the home. Additional survivors include nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

Preceded her in death were her parents Herman and Martha Gaul, two brothers Norman Gaul and Edgar Gaul a sister Lorene Rawles and in laws Fred and Irena Duttweiler.

Eunice loved to meet new people and never met a stranger, always had a smile on her face.

Phillip Long, 43, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022.

He was born September 8, 1978 in St. Joseph, Missouri to William and Kathryn (Walker) Long. He was a 1996 graduate of Savannah High School.

Phillip interned and then worked as a chef at The Gallery Bistro in Springfield, Missouri, then began a career as a chef that took him to several country clubs and restaurants in both Missouri and North Carolina.

His dogs were his life and he was a good trainer. He loved to torment his nieces and spend time with family and friends. Phillip was fun to be around, always had a smile and a very caring heart.

He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandmother, Marie Vetter; maternal great-grandfather, Lloyd Hartman; maternal great-grandmother, Minnie Walker; maternal grandparents, Harold and Kathryn Walker; and paternal grandmother, Jeanne Vetter.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Kathy Long; sister, Raynae Wilson (Jeff); nieces, Kaytin and Kyzlee Wilson; and his beloved dogs, Bonnie and Jaydah.

Florene Edna Robertson, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2022 at Foxwood Springs in Raymore, Missouri.

She was born May 14, 1934 to Orval C. and Mildred (Hersh) Richards in St. Joseph, Missouri. She graduated from Savannah High School in 1952. Florene married the love of her life, Ernest Robertson and they were blessed with 60 years together. She was the proud mother of two sons, Larry and Randy and beloved grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie, her parents, and brother Orval Richards Jr., seven brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law.

Florene is survived by two sons, Larry (Kathleen) of Country Club, Missouri and Randy (Pam) of Stilwell, Kansas; grandsons Kris (Rebekah), Michael and Ryan (Taylor); one granddaughter, Angela; three great grandsons; four great granddaughters; one sister, Myrtle (Lowell) Auxier; sisters-in-law Bonnie Smith and Betty (Mike) Morris; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Geary D. Engemann, 78, of Wathena, Kansas passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, at his home.&nbsp;

Geary was born on April 17, 1944, at Fort Riley, Kansas to Walter W. and Margaret L. (Gummig) Engemann.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was a lifelong resident of Wathena where he graduated from Wathena High School in 1962, Northwest Missouri State University in 1967 with a BS, then 1989 with a master’s degree from Kansas State University.&nbsp;&nbsp;Geary began teaching at Lafayette High School in St. Joseph, Missouri in 1967, he then moved to Wathena High School and taught from 1970 until his retirement in 2001.&nbsp;&nbsp;Geary also owned &amp; operated Engemann Service from 1970 until 2018.&nbsp;

He has been a member at the First Baptist Church in Wathena since 1967, where he served as a deacon, moderator, worship leader and various other rolls for many years.&nbsp;&nbsp;Geary also served on the Wathena City Council.&nbsp;

Geary D. Engemann, 78, of Wathena, Kansas passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, at his home.&nbsp;Geary was born on April 17, 1944, at Fort Riley, Kansas to Walter W. and Margaret L. Amanda Reneé (Vey) Simpson, 40, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

She was born August 30, 1981 to Robert and Linda (Ketchem) Vey in St. Joseph, Missouri.

She was a registered nurse and worked at Children’s Mercy Hospital for ten years before becoming the school nurse for Mid Buchanan RV schools. Amanda enjoyed arts and crafts, listening to and singing music, cooking, and even creating her own recipes. Dollar Tree was her favorite store and she loved a good bargain. Amanda was a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady, even dressing up as one for Halloween.

She is survived by her daughters, Jaden and Emily Simpson; parents; sister, Lily Vey and her daughter, Everly; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

The family of Emma Joanne Bodenhausen, rejoice in their faith of our Lord Jesus Christ that she is now resting in the arms of her Savior. She went home to Heaven on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Memorial service will be 2:30 PM on Wednesday June 29, 2022, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Cochran officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the funeral home. A private family burial will be at Monrovia Cemetery at a later time. Because of Joanne’s love for flowers, those attending are asked to wear bright colors. Emma Joanne Bodenhausen, age 88 formerly of Effingham, KS, was born April 25, 1934, to William and Doris (Strine) Sharp at their home in Monrovia. Kansas. She married David Bodenhausen July 27, 1951, at her parents’ home in Monrovia. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2014. They enjoyed traveling to all 50 states and the Holy Land completed their dream. She worked alongside her husband on the family farm; sewed many garments for the girls, had a big garden, which led to canning, and enjoyed trying new recipes. She also liked to plant some new flowers each year, trying different ones. Her love for music led her in younger years to sing for weddings and funerals. She was a member of the Effingham Union Church and a faithful alto in choir for many years. She also taught Sunday School classes, was a youth leader, member of the Women’s Society at Church and baked many pies for the Church fair stand. She enjoyed keeping up with the girls and their many activities and later the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Archie (Kristine) Sharp, Creston, NE; daughters: Vicki (Steve) Jones, Bendena; Tammy (Craig) Gigstad, Winchester; and Jayne (Todd) Wehking, Lancaster. Grandchildren: Rochelle (Tony) Schuetz, Stephanie Jones; Derek (Laura) Gigstad; Danae (Justin) Lillie; Devin (Derek) Brey; Courtney (Joe) Klepees; Troy (Danielle) Wehking; Great-Grandchildren: Hailey, James, Taygen, Josie, Braylee, Jack, Ryker, Axton, Blakely, Collins, Beckett, Brigham, Logan, Baby Klepees and Tyce.
