Jeffrey Scott Arnold, 60, passed from this life on Friday, March 3, 2023. He was born December 7, 1962 to James and Judith (Phillips) Arnold in Fort Riley, Kansas.
Jeff had an exciting childhood as the proud son of a career U.S. Army soldier. The seven years spent living in Germany, and traveling all over Europe, were the most precious to him. He loved to reminisce about all the great memories from those many Arnold family adventures.
Jeff attended Lafayette High School, and graduated from Central High School with the Class of 1980. He had fond memories of playing football at Lafayette.
Jeff was an amazingly talented musician and vocalist. Music was his life. He was a member of the local bands “The Rain” and “Midnight Rain”, and played many solo events all over the area. He owned the DJ company “Wheels and Company”, and brought a lot of joy to the lives of many through the music that he provided at local establishments, and for hundreds of weddings and proms. He worked for many years at Lanham Music, and started teaching guitar lessons there at a very young age. Jesus got a hold of Jeff’s heart during the Jesus Revolution in the early to mid-70’s, and some of Jeff’s most beautiful work was written and performed for his Lord.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Greg Arnold. Survivors include a daughter, Angela, and sons Nick and Wyatt; granddaughters Lilliana and Aubrey, and soon to be born grandson, Finnley; sister Tami (Dennis) Pasley, brother Chad (Kim) Arnold, and sister-in-law Julie Arnold Hutchcraft. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
Private graveside services will be held under the direction of Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah, MO.
