Barbara J. Haley, 80, Cosby, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024.&nbsp;

She was born November 16, 1943 to Francis A. and Evelyn R. (Heath) Crown in Chicago, Illinois.

Barbara married Charles “Tony” A. Haley on July 6, 1991. They shared 32 years of marriage before his passing on July 6, 2023.

She attended nursing school in St. Joseph and worked in the area following her graduation.

Barbara enjoyed playing her baby grand piano and feeding and watching the birds.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles.

Survivors include her son, Todd Fisher (Tracy); stepchildren, Joshua Haley (Amanda), and Sarah Malhiwsky (Tony); grandson, Wyatt and 5 step-grandchildren, Khia, Onyx, Quaid, Lake, and Dreyven; siblings, David Crown (Becky), Tim Crown (Carolyn), Karen Houghton (George), and Pam Schmerse (Tim); extended family and friends.

Todd Lee Wood, 58, of Wheatland, MO passed away April 5, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospice House with family by his side.

He was born December 31, 1965, at home in Kansas City, Missouri. His parents William E. Wood, Sr. and Norma Jean (Bickelhaupt) Wood lived in Kansas City, MO. They moved to Bean Lake, MO when Todd was 14. He attended West Platte High School in Weston, MO. While living in Kansas City, he played baseball in the North Kansas City League. He was a center fielder with an arm like a rocket. He set a record and hit a home run at 504 Feet. Todd tried out for the Royals when he was 17 years old. He finished his baseball career at West Platte High School and helped coach youth leagues in the summer. 

Todd worked for his father and brother in residential painting for several years. He worked as a plate department lead at Lifetouch Publishing for 25 years, where he made many lifelong friends. He enjoyed fishing at Smithville Lake, but his favorite fishing spot was Pomme de Terre lake near his home in Wheatland. Todd also enjoyed hunting, camping, and flying RC airplanes.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Tovey G. McRill, and Tammy Pemberton, and his brother Frederick W. Wood. He is survived by his sons, Christopher D. Wood and John Jacob “Jake” (Whitney) Wood; his grandchildren Tyler Wood, Layla Wood, Tristan Wood, and Blakeley Wood, his sister Tina K. (Mitch) Raney, his brother William E. Wood, and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Platte City, MO; followed by a celebration of life ceremony at 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be given to: First Baptist Church Platte City, 17385 Hwy. 371, Platte City, MO 64079.

Eulah Jane “Pud” Taylor, 83, of Dearborn, MO passed away, March 17, 2024.

She was born on July 29, 1940 to Euel “Did” and Maggie “Janie” (Logston) Sellars in Dearborn, MO where she grew up. Eulah graduated from North Platte High School.&nbsp;

On July 7, 1972 she was united in marriage to Silas Taylor. After their marriage they lived in Dearborn where they made their home.

Eulah worked for Hallmark Cards for 36 years in Leavenworth, KS.She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Jeanie and Galen and Arnold.

Eulah is survived by her daughter, Jane Ann Cowan and husband, Jim; nephew, Brian (Rachelle) Arnold; and great-niece, Mariah Arnold.

Teri Lynn May, 75, of Smithville, MO passed away April 8, 2024.

She was born on March 3, 1949, to Leslie Robert and Doris F. (Dean) Anderson in Long Beach, California. Growing up in a Navy family, she lived in several areas including Honolulu, HI, Bethesda, MD and Ridgecrest, CA. Teri attended high school in Ridgecrest, CA.

On July 29, 1967, she was united in marriage to Peter Paul May, III at the All Faith Chapel on China Lake Naval Station. After their marriage they lived in Gladstone, MO, Diamond Bar, CA, and Carlsbad, CA. In 1993, Pete and Teri established their family home in Smithville, MO.&nbsp;

Teri worked in the family business as an office manager, retiring in 1999. After her retirement, she volunteered for local animal rescue organizations and she fostered numerous dogs. Teri took a lot of pride in her family, house and dogs. She worked hard to be a central safe place for everyone. Teri’s joys in life were people, pets and plants.&nbsp;

She won several dog shows with her award winning Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. Teri was an avid genealogist and documented the family’s history. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, crafts, her horses and most of all being with her family.&nbsp;

Teri was preceded in death by her parents Les and Doris Anderson and sister-in-law Diane Simpson.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Pete May; her children Peter P. (Kerryn) May IV, Mary (Mary Leahy) May and Paula Mercer; grandchildren Jasmine Mercer, Megan Mercer, Thomas Mercer, Madilynn May, and Elijah May; sister Carol Apt and Patti (Bill) Tongate; sisters-in-law Barbara (Jim) McCroskie, Jan (Bob) Turner, and Laurie Allen; brother-in-law John May; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Patsy Valliant, age 70, of Atchison, KS, died peacefully on March 15, 2024, at the Atchison Medicalodge.

Patsy was born on April 13, 1953, in Concordia, Kansas, the daughter of the late Lila (Revell) Patterson and LeRoy Patterson. She attended Concordia Public Schools and graduated from Concordia High School in 1971. She continued her education at Cloud County Junior College and earned her bachelor degree in Business Administration and Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, from Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS, in 1975. Patsy was always a hard worker from a very young age. After graduating from college, she began with a credit union in Norton, KS, as a loan officer and then transferred to the Norton State Hospital as the business manager until moving to Atchison, KS, in 1988. She found her true passion of employment in Atchison, serving as an Eligibility Determination Specialist, Case Manager and Case Worker for SRS. She was very passionate about helping those in need through her role and made a difference in countless peoples’ lives until her retirement in 2013.

Patsy was a people person and would always find someone to enjoy conversation with, whether it was her neighbors on her daily walk with her dog, Bandit, or a stranger throughout her day, she loved conversing with others. She enjoyed caring for her favorite plants, African Violets, at her home and reading romance novels.

She met Terry Valliant in August of 1971, and they were married on August 19, 1973, at the Methodist Church in Concordia, KS. They began their family and have two sons, Alex Valliant (Sabrina Burge) and Tim Valliant (Amanda), and now have four grandchildren, Lani Valliant, Alex Valliant, Zaryah Burge and Kensi Valliant. Patsy has one surviving brother, Gary (Kathy) Patterson, Oklahoma City, OK, also surviving are nieces and nephews and many family friends.

Patsy loved making memories with her family, and she never missed a sporting event of her children growing up, whether it was the countless hours in the gym during wrestling matches, watching baseball games or cheering during the cross country meets. She would not have traded those times for anything. She loved camping and fishing, and even had her boys trained to bait her hook and retrieve her caught fish. Patsy and Terry travelled the world together to visit their son and grandchildren at every chance they could and all their free time was preferred to be spent with their family.

Mary Ann was born December 8, 1936, in Indianapolis, Indiana, adopted at age 3 by Charles J. and Mary Helen (Hurst) Bearnard. She attended St. Mary’s Academy in Indianapolis, Indiana University and Sisters of Charity Nursing School. Mary Ann served many years as a registered nurse.

She and James W. Wiggs, Jr., MD, were married June 18, 1960, in Indianapolis, IN. They shared 42 years of marriage. Mr. Wiggs preceded her in death on June 7, 2003.

Mary Ann was very strong in her faith and active in St. Benedict Church, as a former lector and Eucharistic Minister, as well as a pianist, accompanist, and singer. She was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order, a lifelong contemplative, and lover of animals and the natural world in its beautiful entirety. She was a woman of inexhaustible generosity, exuberant joyfulness, faithful friendship, and quiet reverence -- a precious example of faith, love and fidelity to her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, John (Carol) Lahey-Wiggs, Saskatoon, Canada, Adam (Anita) Buhman-Wiggs, Atchison, KS, a daughter, Chala (Thomas) Wiggs-Lechner, Watertown, SD, seven grandchildren, Ian Buhman-Wiggs, Emma Rose Buhman-Wiggs, James Buhman-Wiggs, Anna Buhman-Wiggs, Michael Lahey-Wiggs, Stephen Lechner, and David Lechner, as well as two in-law grandchildren, Allyson Vanderwal and William Lechner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, James Kevin Wiggs.

Susan was a former 4-H Leader and enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, word search books and raising flowers. She was a member of the Nortonville Christian Church.&nbsp;

Susan was married to Harold Hundley on April 2, 1995, in Atchison, KS. He survives of the home, additional survivors include six sons Lee (Jolene) Ellerman, Rushville, MO, Daniel Hundley, Atchison, KS, Jimmy D. (Courtney) Hundley, Branson, MO., Ralph E. Hundley, Topeka, KS., Richard (Beth) Hundley, Atchison, KS., Larry (Teresa) Hundley, Independence, MO., four daughters Charmin (Tim) Farris, Winchester, KS., Crystal R. (Brad) Russell, Topeka, KS., Debra (Matt) Smith, Amazonia, MO., Mary E. (William) Corkins, Atchison, KS., and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dixie Lee Hermanson, 83 of Pleasant Valley, MO passed away, April 6, 2024. &nbsp;She suffered a stroke at home and spent her last day in hospice where she peacefully went home to Jesus.

Dixie was born February 5, 1941, in St. Joseph, to Loyde and Irene (Osborn) Tarwater.

She was a Cosmetologist for over 35 years in Kansas City and Excelsior Springs, MO. &nbsp;In her later years, she said she wanted to be semi-retired, so she became a house cleaner for many customers in her area. &nbsp;She took a lot of pride in cleaning and was very good at it and was in high demand.

She loved animals, especially horses and dogs. &nbsp;She never met a horse or a dog she didn't like.

Dixie is survived by her four children, Wendy Shepherd, Stacey and son-in-law Mike Kenney, Lea Ann and son-in-law Brian Frost, and Justin Hermanson. &nbsp;Five grandchildren, Noah Shepherd, Jared Kenney, Sydney Frost Green and grandson-in-law Preston Green, Salene Hermanson, and Kaylee Hermanson, one great-granddaughter Cameron Green and a second great-granddaughter coming soon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, brother, first husband Galen E. Hiskey and second husband Joseph Hermanson.

Marilynn McEvoy, 63, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024.

She was born on January 1, 1961, to John R. and Mary N. (Shull) Adkins in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Marilynn married John C. McEvoy on August 31, 1989, and they shared 34 years together before John passed away on January 19, 2024.

She worked as a psych aide for Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Hospital and also at Bliss Manor.

Marilynn enjoyed getting friends and family together at their house for food and entertainment. She and John hosted BBQ’s and would happily feed the people who stopped by.

Her family was the most important part of her life, and her love for them will continue to live on through her memory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. McEvoy, her parents, and brother, Dick Adkins.

Survivors include her children, Amanda Brock (Mike) and Navada M. Michael Eugene Milbourn, Sr., 63, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024.

He was born December 16, 1960 in St. Joseph to Virgil and Shirley Milbourn.

Michael married Marcia D. Holcomb on December 28, 2023. She survives of the home.

He had worked as a roofer for Milbourn Roofing, as a technician at Altec for 10 plus years, and a landscaper for Brad Grooms Lawn Care and Dylon Grooms Lawn Care.

Michael was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed shooting pool, working on clocks, and fixing anything and everything. He loved those tools!

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley.

James Arlen Ringer, 88, a lifelong resident of St. Joseph, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, peacefully at his home.

He was born on March 6, 1936, in St. Joseph, Missouri to parents Arthur Edward Ringer and Grace Irene (Kemp) Ringer. He graduated from Lafayette High School in 1954.

On June 10, 1960, he married Ann Clay Strop, and they had two sons: James Arlen Ringer Jr. and his wife, Denise, of Dallas, Texas and Charles Arthur Ringer of St. Joseph. Other survivors include his grandsons, James Arlen Ringer III, Holden Minor Ringer, and Benjamin Reilly Ringer, all of Dallas, Texas, and niece, Patti Ringer Trevino, of Austin, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his brother, William Arthur Ringer and his wife Jean Irwin Ringer of Austin, Texas; nephews, Charles (Chuck) Ringer, Matt Trevino of Liberty Hill, Texas, David Ringer of Austin, Texas, and Ted Ringer of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and his parents.

James was a 1958 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Engineering in Columbia. He was a registered Professional Engineer with the state of Missouri, and he was associated with Industrial Heating and Plumbing Co. (now IHP Industrial) for 27 years as the vice president.

He was a past president of the Missouri State Plumbing Heating and Cooling Association and held a St. Joseph Masters Pluming License since 1960 while serving on the St. Joseph Plumbing Licensing Board.

James was an elder of the First Presbyterian Church. He served at the Open-Door Food Kitchen and with the Meals on Wheels program, and also served on the YMCA Board and the YMCA Camp Committee.

He formerly served as Construction Division Chairman for the United Way and the Allied Arts Drives. James had also assisted on several Habitat for Humanity projects.

James was a member of the Charity Zeredatha #189 Lodge; St. Joseph York Rite; Moila Temple and former member of the Benton Club and the St. Joseph Country Club.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, puzzle books, button collecting, word games, poetry, African Violets, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Atchison. Susie was an active member in Lady Auxiliary and Girl Scouts.&nbsp;

Pauline Frances Norton 89, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at LaVerna Village in Savannah, MO. She was born September 30, 1934 in St. Joseph, daughter of Etta and Ernest Reed. She worked at ADCO, where she retired from after 30 years. Pauline enjoyed going to  garage sales and thrift stores. She was a great mother, grandmother, and friend, and cared deeply about others. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Norton Sr., her parents, children, Peggy Davis, Cherri Ann Norton, Melvin Norton Jr., and Billy Norton, siblings, Tootie, Mary, and Charles Reed. Michael Lawrence Rucker, 66, passed away unexpectedly on April 4, 2024 at his home.

Born in St. Joseph Mo, he was the son of Charles and Agnus (Drennen) Rucker. He was a graduate of Central High School.

He married Carolyn Steeby in 1980, and they shared 35 years of marriage together.&nbsp;

Mike was an avid guitar player, and loved fishing, always hoping for "a bigger one than Jeff”. He enjoyed teaching his children and grandchildren all his “master fisherman skills".&nbsp;

Mike was proceeded in death by his beloved wife, daughter Ammie, and his parents.&nbsp;

He is survived by his daughter, Annie Jo Rucker, son, Kevin Rucker, brother and sister-in-law, John and Tina Rucker, sister, Rita Sharp, and his grandchildren, Madison Rucker, Lillian Roe, Jack Roe, and Sebastian Rucker.&nbsp;

Mr. Rucker has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Michael Wayne "Biggie" Russell 43, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 in St. Joseph. He was born October 29, 1980 in St. Joseph, son of Mary and Michael Russell. He attended Benton High School. Biggie enjoyed painting and was a fixer of many things. He was a strong, independent, and an amazing dad and loved spending time with his girls and attending concerts. Biggie was a Christian, and had recently accepted Christ into his life. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: daughter, Brooklyn Russell, step-daughter, Kaylee Callaway, brother, Danny Teed, uncle, Don Russell, his best friend and mother of his daughter, Erika Walters, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lois Elaine (McIntosh) Lyon 88, of St Joseph, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 in St Joseph. She was born June 4, 1935 in Martinsville, MO, daughter of the late Oreana and Ivan Gentry. She married Milton Gene on August 7, 1996, and he survives of the home. Lois managed Barbosas Castillo for 30 years, and Whitaker Cable. She loved RV camping, making Christmas candy, and she was a member of Grace Calvary Chapel. 

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lynette Heald, first husband, Russell McIntosh, sisters, Dixie Barbosa and Datie Winsworth, and son-in-law, DeWayne Hicks. Robert Michael "Odie" Rich 70, of Amazonia, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in St. Joseph, MO. He was born June 14, 1953 in Fort Leavenworth, KS, son of Mary Belle and Robert Rich. He graduated from Benton High School Class of 1971. In 1996, he met Stacie Anno and they were married July 11, 2017 in Mexico. Odie retired from Nestle Purina in 2016, where he was the union steward. He also worked at Pepsi, Canteen, and was an over the road truck driver. Odie was a true "River Rat," and loved living at his happy place on the Missouri river, where he enjoyed the perfect view, and the most hummingbirds of anyone. He loved shooting snakes out of his yard, and riding on the golf cart with his dog River. He was known for his competitive spirit when it came to bowling, baseball, shooting pool, and playing cards. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching Gunsmoke (knowing every episode), traveling, floating on the river, motorcycle trips with his friends, KC Chiefs, but mostly spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his huge heart and always being ready, willing, and able to help anyone. 

Odie was preceded in death by his parents, son, Josh Rich, and grandson, Caden Blanton. He was born October 20, 1937 in Villa Matamoros, Mexico, son of the late Elisa and Antanasio Barron. He worked at Bakery in Mexico. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. 

Feliciano was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Guadalupe Hinojos, and brother, Victor Hernandez. Eric Michael Lederer 50, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 in a St. Joseph, MO. He was born April 15, 1973 in St. Joseph, MO. He attended Savannah High School, and worked as a painter. He enjoyed fishing and anything outdoors, and was a talented artist. Eric was baptised at Patrick Catholic Church. 

He &nbsp;was preceded in death by daughter, Erica Lederer, and brother, Bobby Clinton. Robert “Bob” Hausman, 75, St. Joseph, Missouri; passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Bob was born on December 5, 1948 in St. Joseph, Missouri, to the late Edward L. and Rose Mary (Shea) Hausman. &nbsp;He was a 1968 graduate of Christian Brothers High School, and graduated from Missouri Western State University with a degree in civil engineering.

Mr. Hausman served his country in the Army Reserve, and was a proud American.

Bob and Janet Johnson were united in marriage on August 26, 1972 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. &nbsp;They celebrated fifty-one and a half years of marriage and to that union five children were born.&nbsp;

Bob was co-owner of Hausman Metal Works and Roofing; he was highly respected and always took great pride in the roofing department.&nbsp; He retired in 2014, after 46 years of dedicated service.

Bob was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, where he previously served on the parish council and was instrumental in the materialization of the church parish center. He was a member of Specialty Industries in addition to numerous organizations in the roofing industry.

In his later years, Bob, devoted his time and attention to his greatest loves; his wife and family. &nbsp;He loved spending time with them at their Lake Viking home, where he enjoyed entertaining and flying the biggest flag on the lake. &nbsp;

Survivors include his wife, Janet of the home; children, Ryan (Juanita) Hausman, Parkville, MO; Bradley (Holly) Hausman, St. Joseph, MO; Jonathan Hausman, Kansas City, MO; Amanda (Jesse) Medina, St. Joseph, MO; seven grandchildren; Maria, Robert, Haisley, Tenley, Maverick, Huxley and Lillyana; siblings, JoAnn Christman, Mary Agnes “Gertie” Workman (Zack), Jim Hausman; sister-in-law, Sherry Hausman and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Jay; brother, Larry Hausman; parents-in-law, George and Christina Johnson and brothers-in-law, John Christman and George “Sonny” Johnson.

Deloris “Dodie” Jean Osborn, 90, of Agency Missouri went home to be with the Lord and Savior April 4, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Dodie was born November 11, 1933, to Cleo Hunt and Anna (Smith) Hunt. She had two siblings, William C. Hunt and Gala Hunt Craven.

Deloris graduated from Grant City High School in 1951. She played volleyball, loved to roller-skate and was a member of The Agency United Methodist Church.

She married Darrell “Mick” Osborn, the love of her life, September 3rd , 1954, in Stanberry, Missouri.

They had one child, Cindy (Osborn) Rumpf. &nbsp;Dodie worked hard and was the legendary head cook for the Mid-Buchanan School District for 24 years. She retired in May of 1996. &nbsp;She will be remembered for her famous cinnamon rolls and no-bake cookies.

Dodie was proceeded in death by her parents, brother Bill and granddaughter Rachel Rumpf. Dodie is survived by her husband Mick of the home, daughter Cindy (Randy) Rumpf, grandson Ryan (Lucinda) Rumpf, great grandsons Ryland and Hayden Rumpf who love their granny great, her ‘tomato-picking’ nephew Terry (Jill) Osborn and numerous nephews, nieces family and friends.

Grandchildren Jennifer Fatino, Angela Pryor (Wilson), Brent Grooms (Anissa), May Tiller (Derek), Brian Klee (Sarah), Kelly Moody and Stacey McClung, Brian Strodtman (Nikki), Matt Strodtman (Heather), Brett Strodtman (Liz). She has many Great and Great-Great Grandchildren. Brother-in-Law Jack Klee (Vivian) Brentwood Tennessee, 1 Niece and 5 Nephews.

Mom loved KU and would tell anyone who would listen. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Joseph.

She lived the last year and a half at Living Community Center in St. Joseph MO. She had many friends that she played “Left Right Center” dice game after dinner many nights. Mom was “Thelma” to Mary Jane’s “Louise” partners in crime at the center. They all had a great time together.

I just want to thank all the staff for taking excellent care of our mother. She really loved them all. I appreciate what they did for her. Some became very special to her. Couldn’t have asked for any better care. Hospice Care was like family. I want to thank Heidi Sidwell, her nurse. Mom used to call her Dr. Heidi.

Sue S. Klee, 91 years young, passed away on April 7, 2024.She was born October 13, 1932 to Martin and Shirley Naylor in Kansas City Mo.She married Ernest W. Rodney Kendall Loyd, 78, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, went home to his Lord and Savior April 4, 2024, after a brave, strong battle against cancer. 

Rodney was born September 3, 1945 to Ernest “Ernie” Loyd and Mildred (Evans) Kottman. He had three siblings, Mary Anne Paul, Mike Loyd, and Denise Loyd.Rodney graduated from Central High School in 1963. He served in the United States Army as a switchboard operator, ranked as SPEC 4. He is a devout Christian&nbsp;and a member of Hope Fellowship Church. His faith in God is what kept him fighting strong.

Rodney married the love of his life, Charlene (Huber) Loyd in 1964. September 4th would have been their 60th wedding anniversary. There was no one he adored more than his wife. To this union they had two children, David and Dana.

Rodney worked for the railroad as a switchman, then worked 29 years after moving his way up to the plant master scheduler at Mead products. Upon the closing of Mead, Rodney found his true calling and became an LPN in his 60’s. He loved this job and took care of one special girl for eight years. In addition to nursing school, Rodney had also studied tax preparation and worked for his wife’s business, Independent Tax Service until his cancer diagnosis in September 2022.

Rodney took modern and ballroom dance at a young age from Cliff and Paul. He loved dancing with his wife at many performances, in formation groups and just for fun. He loved going to car shows, watching t.v. shows about cars,Yellowstone, action and sci-fi movies, traveling, backyard fireworks, tequila and all his fur-babies. His therapy was landscaping his yard. He would spend endless hours tending to it.

Rodney was the life of the party and you could always find him with a Don Julio on the rocks in hand. He was adored by everyone that knew him due to his caring, fun loving nature. He was a second father to many.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents and sisters.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Charlene, of the home; son, David (Stacey) Loyd; daughter, Dana (Vance) Plowman; granddaughter Jessica (Sean) Barker, all of St. Joseph; a brother, nieces, nephew, many friends and others he considers family.&nbsp;

The family will receive friends Sunday, April 7th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hope Fellowship Church. Services will be Monday, April 8th at 10 a.m at the church.&nbsp;
