Ernest “Ernie” A. Marti, 80, St. Joseph, MO passed away Sunday, March 7, surrounded by what he loved most, his family. 

He was born July 23, 1940 in St. Joseph, MO, son of the late Nadine and Theodore Marti. On September 29, 1962 he married Cecelia “Babe” (Plummer) who survives of the home. Ernie worked at Pepsi Cola for 36 years, and he was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed The Farm Life, traveling, auctions, and The Casino Community. 

Additional survivors include: sons, Ernie (Dawn) Marti, Ted Marti, Chuck (Kim) Marti, and daughter, Janice (Chris) Halbirt all of St. Joseph, MO, 11 Grand Children: Crystal, Amber, Dakota, Teddy, Shane, Josh, Buddy, Holly, Gage, Madison, and Paden, 17 Great Grandchildren, Brother, Cecil Marti, Sister, Joann Mace, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. 

The Internment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorials are requested to St Jude Children’s Hospital.

Lyle C. Cummings, 89, of Troy, Kansas passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at his home.&nbsp;

Lyle was born on March 29, 1931 in Troy, Kansas at the family farm, to Robert Clifton and Mamie (Meers) Cummings.&nbsp;

Lyle was a farmer and truck driver and a member of the Teamsters, known by most (especially his grandchildren and fellow truckers) as Cub Bear, his CB handle on the road. He earned his spot in the “2 Million Mile” club, driving all those miles with no accidents. Lyle drove until he retired just before his 80th birthday. He was a member of the Eagle’s Lodge, St. Joseph, Missouri. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war, 1952- 1954.&nbsp;

Lyle married Rosetta Hatfield on August 15, 1953 in Wathena, Kansas. They were introduced on a blind date on New Year’s Eve. She was his greatest love. She preceded him in death on February 6, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kathryn Ann Carter.&nbsp;

Jane M. Stahl. 61, of Morrill, KS, passed away peacefully at Maple Heights Nursing Home Nursing Home on March 5, 2021, surrounded by her family.

Jane was born in Hiawatha, KS January 19th, 1960, the youngest of four children born to the late Roy and Betty Arnold Spicer and was a Brown County resident all of her life, where she attended Hiawatha schools, graduating from Hiawatha High School with the class of 1978.

She worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide and Physical Therapy Assistant for many years.&nbsp; Jane loved spending time watching her children at sporting events and then at home with her dog COCOA.&nbsp; She touched many lives through the years with her loving compassionate heart. She will get to join the one she missed with open arms.

She married David Stahl January 18th, 1978, in Fairview.&nbsp; They had 43 wonderful years together, also her children:&nbsp; Eric Stahl (Kayla) of Sabetha, Jennifer Hanes (Seth) of Topeka, Jill Severin (Stephen) of Sabetha, Jodi Folk (Dylan) of Whiting; 9 grandchildren:&nbsp; Katie, Brenden, Bayleigh, Tucker, Brody, Easton, Brylee, Ellie and Tylee.&nbsp; Also surviving are brothers Bob and Jim Spicer, sister Linda Curlis, all of Hiawatha.

Jane loved her lab COCOA. She loved to take care of the elderly and won caregiver of the year at the Sabetha Manor.&nbsp; She loved her iris bed, cooking for every occasion and always loved hosting family gatherings with her children and grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson Bowen Neal Stahl.

A celebration of Jane’s life is planned for 10:30 Wednesday morning, March 10, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Hiawatha.&nbsp; Pastor Rich Lehmkuhl will officiate.&nbsp; Interment will follow at Cornelison Cemetery, Reserve.

Charlotte Rose Wells 79, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in St. Joseph, MO. 

She was born September 11, 1941 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Gladys and Charles Johnson. Charlotte worked at Boehringer Ingelheim, retiring after 30 years. Some of her hobbies included fishing, camping and being outdoors. She also loved to shop and was a very dedicated friend. She was a member of VFW post 6760- Ladies Auxiliary. 

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary Lee Wells Sr., son, Allen Sauter, brothers, Chuck, Ron, Larry, Ralph Johnson, sister, Betty Peays. 

Survivors include, sons, Gary Lee Wells, Jr., Brian (Shantell) Wells and Ronnie (Kelly) Sauter of St. Joseph, brother, Jerry (Barb) Johnson of Millington, TN, 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Gilbert "Gib" Earl Bomar 87, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Saint Joseph. 

He was born May 26, 1933 in Nodaway, Missouri, son of the late William Reilly and Elsie Marie (Steeby) Bomar. After graduating from Fillmore High School he enlisted in the United States Army and was a Private for 2 years. Returning he became a machinist and supervisor for Westab (Meade) Products retiring in a little over 33 years. After retirement he continued as a machinist as a hobby and to build and work with his hands. He was an avid John Wayne Fan. He married Anna Lee Merritt February 24, 1956, they later divorced , he then married Maxine Laughlin Bomar and they shared 60 years together. 

Gilbert Earl was preceded in death by wife Maxine, his parents, twin brother, Delbert Syril Bomar in 1939, grandson, Ryan Bomar, and step grandson, Brad Williams. 

Survivors include: son, Michael (Sandy) Bomar, daughter, Jamie (Elmer) Bennett, step daughter, Ava Andrews, grandson, Jason Words, granddaughter, Nichole Bennett, step grandsons, Aaron (Jill) Snook and Chris (Julie) Bennett, step granddaughter, Christa Bennett, great-grandson, Jason Lee, great-granddaughters, Ashlynn Bomar, Clair A, Kenlee Words, and Shelby L Cooley, step great-grandson, Callan Snook, and several other step great grandchildren, sister, Buelah M Conroy, aunt, Leota Steeby-Curd, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Gilbert "Gib" Earl Bomar  1933 - 2021

Clyde Daniel Weeks, age 82, passed away March 6, 2021 at Gower Convalescent Center, Gower, MO. 

He was born on a farm southwest of Lake Contrary to Claude Daniel Weeks and Willie (Frakes) Weeks in a house built by his grandfather in 1891. It just so happens that Clyde and his father were both born in this house, in the same room and the same bed. Clyde was very proud to have spent most of his life living in this house.

He attended Shepherd Elementary School which had all eight grades in one room and then attended Benton High School where he was a member of the Future Teachers of America, and the National Honor Society. Upon graduation he was one of the six top students in the class of 1956. He then attended St. Joseph Junior College (now Missouri Western State University) and continued his education at Northwest Missouri State University at Maryville, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree. Clyde taught in the St. Joseph School District for thirty years, twenty-five years at Everett Elementary where he met his future wife, Mavis Green. They were married June 9, 1967. Mavis passed away in 2008 after forty years of marriage. When Everett School closed in 1985, he then taught five years at Lake Contrary Elementary.

Upon retirement, Clyde wrote two books on local history, Lake Contrary: Days of Glory 1880-1964 and Krug Park: St. Joseph’s Crown Jewel. He gave many talks and slide presentations to clubs, schools, senior facilities, and other organizations. For about five years he was partner in an antique mall in St. Joseph. In 1998, he was chosen by The St. Joseph News-Press as one of “The Twenty Who Count.” Clyde served on the steering committee of the first Trails West where he gave presentations in the Chatauqua tent for several years. Later he wrote the nomination to get the Carnegie Library placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

For relaxation he loved to read and do research on St. Joseph history and the White House, collect postcards and Victorian antiques, and spend time flower gardening.

Clyde was a board member on the Saint Joseph Historical Society/Robidoux Row Museum and then served as president of the organization. In 1997, he became executive director of Robidoux Row Museum for seventeen years retiring in 2014. While there Clyde was given the Robidoux Award, the St. Joseph Landmark Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Convention Visitors Bureau Hall of Fame Award, and the Ft. Smith Historical Award. Because of his work preserving the history of Lake Contrary, the Buchanan County Commissioners named the bandstand at the Lake in his honor. He was a member of Kirschner Community Church, where he served on the board and later read the message and conducted the church services until it closed in 2016.

Clyde was a life member of the Saint Joseph Historical Society/Robidoux Row, a life member of Pony Express Historical Association/Patee House Museum, a life member of the St. Joseph Garden Club, and a member of the Pony Express Museum, of the St. Joseph Museums, Inc., the Doniphan County Historical Society, the National Trust, Retired Teachers of St. Joseph, the Missouri State Retired Teachers, Mount Mora Cemetery Association, Northwest Genealogy Society, Friends of the Rolling Hills Library, Friends of the St. Joseph Public Library, and the Buchanan County Democratic Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mavis Weeks; and sister-in-law, Wanda Adams.

Survivors include brother, Harold Adams of St. Joseph, MO; nephews, Randy Adams (Heather) of Easton, MO, and Steve Adams (Darcy) of St. Joseph; great-nephew, Seth Adams; great-niece, Amanda Adams; godson, Andy Fuston of Lyons, NE; and many cousins and friends. Clyde Daniel Weeks, age 82, passed away March 6, 2021 at Gower Convalescent Center, Gower, MO. He was born on a farm southwest of Lake Contrary to Claude Daniel Weeks and Willie (Frakes) Weeks in a house built by his grandfather in 1891. It just so happens that Clyde and his father were both born in this house, in the same room and the same bed. Clyde was very proud to have spent most of his life living in this house. He attended Shepherd Elementary School which had all eight grades in one room and then attended Benton High School where he was a member of the Future Teachers of America, and the National Honor Society. Upon graduation he was one of the six top students in the class of 1956. He then attended St. Joseph Junior College (now Missouri Western State University) and continued his education at Northwest Missouri State University at Maryville, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree. Clyde taught in the St. Joseph School District for thirty years, twenty-five years at Everett Elementary where he met his future wife, Mavis Green. They were married June 9, 1967. Mavis passed away in 2008 after forty years of marriage. When Everett School closed in 1985, he then taught five years at Lake Contrary Elementary. Upon retirement, Clyde wrote two books on local history, Lake Contrary: Days of Glory 1880-1964 and Krug Park: St. Joseph’s Crown Jewel. He gave many talks and slide presentations to clubs, schools, senior facilities, and other organizations. For about five years he was partner in an antique mall in St. Joseph. In 1998, he was chosen by The St. Joseph News-Press as one of “The Twenty Who Count.” Clyde served on the steering committee of the first Trails West where he gave presentations in the Chatauqua tent for several years. Later he wrote the nomination to get the Carnegie Library placed on the National Register of Historic Places. For relaxation he loved to read and do research on St. Joseph history and the White House, collect postcards and Victorian antiques, and spend time flower gardening. Clyde was a board member on the Saint Joseph Historical Society/Robidoux Row Museum and then served as president of the organization. In 1997, he became executive director of Robidoux Row Museum for seventeen years retiring in 2014. While there Clyde was given the Robidoux Award, the St. Joseph Landmark Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Convention Visitors Bureau Hall of Fame Award, and the Ft. Smith Historical Award. Because of his work preserving the history of Lake Contrary, the Buchanan County Commissioners named the bandstand at the Lake in his honor. He was a member of Kirschner Community Church, where he served on the board and later read the message and conducted the church services until it closed in 2016. Clyde was a life member of the Saint Joseph Historical Society/Robidoux Row, a life member of Pony Express Historical Association/Patee House Museum, a life member of the St. Joseph Garden Club, and a member of the Pony Express Museum, of the St. Joseph Museums, Inc., the Doniphan County Historical Society, the National Trust, Retired Teachers of St. Joseph, the Missouri State Retired Teachers, Mount Mora Cemetery Association, Northwest Genealogy Society, Friends of the Rolling Hills Library, Friends of the St. Joseph Public Library, and the Buchanan County Democratic Club.He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mavis Weeks; and sister-in-law, Wanda Adams.Survivors include brother, Harold Adams of St. Joseph, MO; nephews, Randy Adams (Heather) of Easton, MO, and Steve Adams (Darcy) of St. Joseph; great-nephew, Seth Adams; great-niece, Amanda Adams; godson, Andy Fuston of Lyons, NE; and many cousins and friends. Steven M. Graves 64, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021. 

He was born December 9, 1956 in St. Joseph, Missouri, son of the late Margaret &amp; George Graves. He married Cynthia Gripe Graves on February 4, 1984. He graduated from Lafayette High School. He worked at Mead Products, Summit Truck Bodies, and Ahern Rental. He enjoyed fishing, watching Cardinal's Baseball, big tenderloins, and spending time with his family. He attended the Journey Baptist Church. Steven was preceded in death by his parents. 

Survivors include: wife, Cynthia Graves of the home, four children: Chad (Tiffany) Graves, Owasso, OK, Steffany (Tim) Vincent, Belton, MO, Craig (Jessie) Graves of Parkville, MO, Sydney (Michael) Rueckert, St. Joseph, MO, grandsons, Asher &amp; Ethan, sister, Wanda (Mike) Studer, Wathena, KS, brothers, David (Kathy) Graves, Donald (Sheila) Graves Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.

LeRoy was born on November 21, 1933 in Troy, Kansas to Kemper and Violet Irene (Edson) Sharp.&nbsp; He worked as a telephone engineer for United Telephone, Council Grove and retired from Tri-County Telephone in 2005.

He attended the First Baptist Church in Troy, Kansas

LeRoy married Phyllis Snodgrass on May 29, 1955 in Troy, Kansas.&nbsp; She survives of the home.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jerry and Lawrence Sharp, sisters, Betty Snodgrass, Carol Williams.

James E. “Jim” Twombly, of White Cloud, passed away peacefully at his home March 3, 2021, surrounded by family.&nbsp; He was 69.

Jim was born and grew up in Dennison, Kansas March 19, 1951, the son of the late Edward L. Twombly.

Survivors are his wife Barbara “Charlene” Edie of 20 years, his brother William Twombly of Dennison, KS, sister Cindy Cluck of Highland, children:&nbsp; Michael Ballman of Hiawatha, Trina Shugurt of Leavenworth, Tara of Wichita, Maria Wenger of Topeka, Benjamin Twombly of Hiawatha, Chrissy Twombly of Robinson, Aurelia Rolland of St. Joseph, MO, and many grandchildren, great-grands, and many nieces and nephews.

He loved antiques and was the one who started the Sparks Flea Market.&nbsp; Jim loved to fish, trap, hunt coons, play pool, raise dogs, and gardening.&nbsp; He was a fun loving guy!

She was a Teacher for the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools for most of her career. Debbie's hobbies included reading fantasy literature, working puzzles, quilting and country music. 

She was preceded in death by father, Virgil Hall and granddaughter, Molly Davis. 

Survivors include, mother, Donna Hall of St. Joseph, sons, Joshua (Valerie) Hall and Zachary Davis, sister, Sherry Hall, granddaughters, Ariel &amp; Chloe Hall and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Robert "Bob" Sale, 94 of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021. He was born February 6, 1927 in St. Joseph, to the late Paul and Inez (Bay) Sale. He married Vivian "JoAnn" Sale in Lincoln, NE, and with this union had five children together.

Bob joined the Merchant Marines by the age of 17. He later joined the U.S. Army, and was a chef to the officers in World War II. He was a watch maker for Joe Optician's and Creviston's, retiring at age 87.

Bob loved trains and enjoyed playing with his train set. He liked using his telescope to see the moon and stars.

Surviving family include his children; Brenda Joyce Sale, Karen Sue Hershewe, Rhonda Jean Sale-Evans, and Steven M. Sale; and brother, Melvin Paul Sale.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, JoAnn; son, Robert "Robbie" Sale, brothers, Edwin and Lewis Sale; sisters, Juanita, Juana, Laverna and Ruby.

Ralph R. “Buzz” Taylor, 77, of Troy, Kansas passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at his home.

Ralph was born on January 1, 1944 in Troy, Kansas to Ralph V. and Mary (Clary) Taylor.

He worked for Herzog as an Asphalt Forman for over 35 years.

Ralph married Connie Whitten on July 12, 1969 in St. Joseph, Missouri. She survives of the home.

Ralph R. “Buzz” Taylor, 77, of Troy, Kansas passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at his home.Ralph was born on January 1, 1944 in Troy, Kansas to Ralph V. and Mary (Clary) Taylor.He worked for Herzog as an Asphalt Forman for over 35 years.Ralph married Connie Whitten on July 12, 1969 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Ralph R. "Buzz" Taylor  1944 - 2021

Hamilton (Ham) Henderson, 74, St. Joseph, Missouri, made his journey home to the Lord, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 surrounded by his family.

He was born July 9, 1946 to Oliver, Sr. and Mary (Green) Henderson in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Hamilton was a dedicated educator and positive influence in St. Joseph. He attended Bartlett, Horace Mann and Washington grade schools later graduating from Lafayette High School. He furthered his education at Missouri Western Junior College and Northwest Missouri State University where he received a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Black History and Education Administration. He taught at Central High School for 40 years. Ham was inducted into the Black Archives Hall of Fame in 2020. He will be dearly missed.

Hamilton attended Hosea Chapel and St. Francis Baptist Church. He was a devoted member of the Delta Chi fraternity. Ham was involved with Scouting and coaching gymnastics. He enjoyed flower gardening, collecting African artifacts and most of all gatherings surrounded by family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Oliver, Sr. and Mary Henderson; brother, Oliver Henderson, Jr.; and sister, Gwendolyn Washington.

Survivors include son, Lyonell Henderson; sisters, Mary Petty of Fayette, Missouri and Nancy Rucker (Steve); brothers, James Henderson (Joslyn) of Minnesota, Oliver Henderson of Olathe, Kansas and Eugene

She was born May 17, 1946 to Anna Washington.

Patricia was a very giving person and enjoyed cooking on the grill, smiling and talking to everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Washington; nephew, Arnell Rucker, Jr.

Minda Michelle Miller, 25, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. 

She was born February 15, 1996 in Carson City, NV, daughter of Margaret and Ricky Miller. Minda attended Benton High School. She had worked as an In-Home Caretaker. Minda loved being a mother and taking care of her kids. She was very adventurous and overall a free spirit who loved life. 

Survivors include her parents, children, Kingston Conroy and Kayzleigh Miller, sisters, Michelle Aurand of Carson City, NV, Joe Ann Pfaff, Brandi Hudson, Marie Dones, Misty Miller, Megan Miller, and Mashawna Miller, all of St. Joseph, maternal grandmother, Mary Nichols, paternal grandmother, Laura Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews.

John Thomas Smith 88, of De Kalb, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 in Cameron Missouri. 

He was living at the Cameron Veterans Home. John was born January 24, 1933 near Sugar Creek, MO, son of the late Sterlie and Alvin Smith. He graduated from DeKalb High School, class of 1950, he then served in the United States Army as a Medic, and he is a veteran of the Korean War. He married Jeraldine Sue Murphy on April 16, 1954, and later purchased the Murphy Family Farm, and he was active in farming until his retirement. He was very talented and could do most anything, he repaired all of his cars, and machinery, built several barns, and finished the family home. John was ahead of his time, he was the only farmer in Northwest Missouri to use irrigation to water his tobacco crop. He taught several neighborhood teens how work in the fields. John loved the Lord, his family, and his farm. John and Jeraldine were married 65 years, and to this union, they raised 2 daughters, and a son. They were blessed with twins. 

John was preceded in death by his parents, son, Dana Smith, brothers, David &amp; Wallace Smith, sisters, Betty Slove, Ruth Ann Bodenhausen, and Beulah Hoover. 

John is survived by his wife of 65 years Jeraldine of the home, two daughters; Renee (Larry) Parkhurst, and Danette (John) Hanson, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services and Interment will be conducted on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Union Cemetery, Faucett, MO. Viewing and register book available from 1-5 pm at the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested in lieu of flowers to the DeKalb Christian Church.&nbsp; &nbsp;

Robert Joseph Baker, 91, of St. Joseph passed away, Tuesday March 2nd, 2021.&nbsp; Robert was born in Stewartsville, MO to Victor and Stella Maude Baker.

Robert graduated from Stewartsville High school in 1947 and served his country in the US Army in the Korean Conflict.&nbsp;

He married Esther Dawson in 1954, his lifelong partner of 67 years.&nbsp; Together Robert and Esther raised their family in St. Joseph, and he worked for Wire Rope Corporation over 20 years.

Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Esther and siblings Victor Baker, Virginia Cooper, Donald Baker, William (Bill) Baker.

Robert is survived by his children Deborah (Dennis) Rathburn, Diana (Steven) Alden, Kevin Baker, and Roger Baker, grandchildren Adrienne (Nici) Dunaway, Sarah Clark, Andrew (AJ) Alden, Emma Baker, Joseph Baker, John (Jack) Baker, three great grandchildren and siblings Edward Baker and Carolyn Goacher.

A private graveside interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.

A family visitation and memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.

Robert Joseph Baker  1929 - 2021

Melinda Sue “Mendi” (Ashworth) Marriott, 55, of Longs, South Carolina, formerly of Troy, Kansas passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 in Little River, South Carolina.&nbsp;

Mendi was born on March 8, 1965 in St. Joseph, Missouri to William “Butch” and Sharon (Akles) Ashworth.&nbsp;

She worked as a receptionist for Heartland Healthcare for over 25 years and was a homemaker. Since moving to South Carolina Mendi became “Mini Poppins,” to her three precious grandchildren. &nbsp;Not only did she do fun and exciting things with them, she blessed their mommy and daddy by keeping their house spotless.

Mendi married Darrel Marriott on April 7, 1984 in Troy, Kansas. He survives of the home. Mendi was a member of Troy Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her father William “Butch” Ashworth and father-in-law, John Marriott.&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Mendi loved her family and friends. She always put others needs above her own. Her positivity, and beautiful smile were unmatched. Mendi worked hard all her life, and she took great pride in keeping her home. Family and friends meant everything to her, and at any family get-together, Mendi was cheerfully waiting on everyone.

Melinda Sue “Mendi” (Ashworth) Marriott, 55, of Longs, South Carolina, formerly of Troy, Kansas passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 in Little River, South Carolina.&nbsp;Mendi was born on March 8, 1965 in St. Joseph, Missouri to William “Butch” and Sharon (Akles) Ashworth.&nbsp;She worked as a receptionist for Heartland Healthcare for over 25 years and was a homemaker. Since moving to South Carolina Mendi became “Mini Poppins,” to her three precious grandchildren. &nbsp;Not only did she do fun and exciting things with them, she blessed their mommy and daddy by keeping their house spotless.Mendi married Darrel Marriott on April 7, 1984 in Troy, Kansas. He survives of the home.
