Mo. driver traveling too fast for conditions killed in car, pickup crash

MCDONALD COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before noon Thursday in McConald County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Buick Park Avenue driven by a 39-year-old Anderson man was eastbound on Highway F one half mile west of Anderson. The car was traveling too fast for conditions. It crossed the center line and struck a 2026 Ram 2500 driven by a 54-year-old Anderson man.

The Buick driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup driver was not injured. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of a ccident victims.
