JOHNSON COUNTY—Authorities are investigating the cause of a restaurant fire in Overland Park.
Just after 2a.m. Thursday, crews battled a fire at Torreador Restaurant, 79th and Floyd, according to a social media report from Overland Park Fire Department.
The fire was quickly extinguished. There was smoke and fire damage to the restaurant and adjoining bookstore. There were no injuries.
Overland Park Consolidated Fire District #2 and Lenexa Fire responded to the scene.
