Two Missouri women dead, 3 injured after UTV crash

CAMDEN COUNTY— Two people died in an accident just after 6p.m. Friday in Camden County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Can-Am Defender UTV driven by Mary E. Kirby, 64, Gravois Mills, was eastbound on Avalon Way near Huff N Puff Lane.

The driver lost control of the side-by-side utility vehicle while it was being illegally operated on the roadway. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. The driver and one of the four passengers were ejected.

Kirby and 55-year-old Angela R. Sinclair of Blue Springs, were pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, Missouri.

EMS transported passengers 59-year-old Sharon L. Hofer, 72-year-old Lanhard J. Hofer both of Gravois Mills and Donna L. Rellergert, 61, Lee's Summit to Lake Regional Hospital.
