NEWTON COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 7:30a.m. Friday in Newton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Kia Forte driven by a 16-year-old girl from Neosho, was eastbound on Queent's Lace seven miles west of Neosho.
The vehicle rear-ended a 2000 Honda 4-trax ATV driven by Gerald W. Marble, 65, Neosho.
Marble was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Clark's Funeral Home.
The teen was not injured and was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
