BOONE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 12:30a.m. Saturday in Boone County.
The Missouri State Highway reported a 2007 GMC Sierra driven by David L. Williams, 29, Harrisburg, Mo., was northbound on Route J just north of Drane Road.
The pickup traveled off the right side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The pickup traveled off the left side of the road, struck a fence, overturned and the driver and passenger identified as Corry M. Crowley, 27, Harrisburg were ejected.
Crowley was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported Millard Funeral Home. EMS transported Williams to University Hospital. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
