KANSAS CITY—A Kansas City man faces felony charges in connection with a fatal shooting that took place near Grandview, Missouri earlier this month.

K’Von Goetz, 20, faces 2nd Degree Murder, three counts of Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and 1st Degree Assault according to Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson.

On July 10, according to court records, Kansas City police were dispatched on a reported shooting and located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was confirmed deceased on the scene and the other was taken to an area hospital.
