MONITEAU COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 8p.m. Tuesday in Moniteau County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Michael S. Burke, 66, Janesville, Wisconsin, was northbound on U.S. 50 at Route E.
The vehicle traveled off of Route E into the path of a westbound 2014 Ford F150 driven by Heather M. Beauchamp, 34, Tipton. The pickup struck the van. Burke was pronounce dead at the scene and was transported to Windmill Ridge Funeral Home. MU Air transported Beauchamp to University Hospital. Burke was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
