KANSAS CITY—One person died in an accident just before 1a.m. Friday in Kansas City, Missouri.
According to KCPD Officer Alyana Gonzalez a driver parked and exited a Buick Enclave in the driveway of the residence located at 2331 Cleveland in Kansas City, Missouri.
The driver left the Buick in reverse and the vehicle rolled backwards striking the driver. The driver was knocked to the ground and run over by the unoccupied SUV. The Buick continued to roll backwards, striking an unoccupied Ford Ranger that was parked in the driveway of 2337 Cleveland before coming to rest.
The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
This is fatality #34 compared to #27 at this time last year, according to Gonzalez.
