MCDONALD COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 3p.m. Sunday in McDonald County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Toyota 4Runner driven by Carolyn S. Hayes, 77, Springdale, Arkansas, was northbound on Route E seven miles northeast of Bella Vista, Arkansas.
The SUV crossed the center line and struck a southbound 2018 Kia Soul driven by Michelle L. McKeever, 57, Seligman, Arkansas.
A passenger in the Kia Thomas E. McKeever, 56, Seligman, Arkansas, was pronounced dead at the scene. EMS transported Michelle McKeever to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayeteville and Hayes to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
