NEWTON COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 9p.m. Wednesday in Newton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Ford F250 driven by Jeramiah T. Durbin, 40, Neosho, was westbound on Old Highway 60 six miles west of Neosho.
The pickup traveled off the road, struck a tree and overturned.
Durbin was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the county medical examiner's office. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
