SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on multiple drug allegations.
Just after 3a.m. March 24, a sheriff' s deputy conducted a traffic stop on a gold 2000 Buick passenger car near NW Tyler Street and NW Lyman Road, according to Deputy Abigail Chrisstian.
During the investigation, a K-9 Unit assisted and illegal narcotics were located.
The passenger, Ashley N. Dixon, 31, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Jail on requested charges of Possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant, Use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia, Trafficking contraband into a correctional facility and Interference with the judicial process.
