Kan. road rage: Bullet hole found in the driver side headrest

JOHNSON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating an alleged road-rage incident.

Just before 6a.m. Tuesday the Overland Park Police Department received a report of a road rage incident that occurred westbound Interstate 435 near US 69 Highway, according to Officer John Lacy.

The victim advised while traveling on westbound Interstate 435 in the inside lane, a vehicle in front was traveling in the same lane, but at a slower pace.

According to the victim, he moved over one lane and began to pass the vehicle. During the passing, the suspect vehicle swerved into the victim’s vehicle making contact.

As the victim driver began to pull to the shoulder of the highway, the driver side rear window shattered. A bullet hole was later located in the driver side headrest.

The driver was not injured in this incident. The suspect vehicle was described as a white four door sedan.
