The St. Joseph Mustangs are now 12-0 on the season following a 3-0 win over the Jefferson City Renegades at Vivion Field in Jefferson City Tuesday.
Three Mustangs pitchers combined for 10 strikeouts and held the Renegades to just four hits.
St. Joseph scored all three of the game's runs in the top of the ninth inning. Trevor McCollum had a two-run RBI double in that frame. McCollum later scored on a wild pitch.
Bishop LeBlond alum Jaren Guck got the win, tossing a scoreless ninth inning and striking out two. Starting pitcher Aron Harrington went 4.1 innings, striking out four and walking three.
Jase Johnson tossed 3.2 innings of hitless middle relief, striking out four and walking none.
The Mustangs stay on the road to face the Carroll Merchants Wednesday. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
