JACKSON COUNTY—A Missouri man died in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Wednesday in Jackson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Peterbilt 365 driven by Quinton M. Wilkes, 25, Lee's Summit, was westbound on Interstate 470 near the Raytown exit.
A tire blew out and the truck traveled off the road, overturned and struck multiple trees.
Lee's Summit Fire transported Wilkes to Research Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
