Missouri man dies after motorcycle strikes Jeep

GREENE COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 6p.m. Friday in Greene County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 driven by James W. King, 46, Monet, was southbound on MO 413 two miles west of Springield.

The motorcycle struck the drivers side of a southbound 2020 Jeep Wrangler driven by Kelsey J. Marler, 31, Springfield.

EMS transported King to Mercy Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Marler, who was properly restrained, refused treatment at the scene.  King was wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
