Kan. man wanted in Father's Day shooting turns himself in

SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating shooting in Topeka have a shooting in Topeka have a suspect in custody.

 Kylin T. Goudeau, 21, Topeka, turned himself in Tuesday after police asked the public for help to locate him, according to Police Lt. Edward Stanley.

Just after 10 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the the 1300 Block. of SW Clay Street in Topeka in reference to the report of a disturbance with multiple gunshots heard in the area, according to Lt. Edward Stanley.

Upon officer’s arrival, one individual was located suffering from gunshot wounds. This individual was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police wanted to question Goudeau about the incident incident. He is now being held in the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of criminal discharge of a firearm.
