PHELPS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 10p.m. Tuesday in Phelps County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Steven W. MacCash, 49, Rolla, was eastbound on County Road 7340 four miles southwest of Rolla.
The motorcycle struck a deer in the road. MacCash was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
