COOPER COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 2a.m. on Thanksgiving in Cooper County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Dodge Dart driven by a 40-year-old Branson woman was northbound on MO 135 at Lang Road. The car traveled off the road to the right, struck an embankment, became airborne, rolled and the driver was ejected.
Cooper County EMS transported the driver to University Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
