MORGAN COUNTY - A Kansas City, Missouri, man died in a drowning just before 10p.m. Saturday at Lake of the Ozarks.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the 25-year-old entered the water near the at the 5 mile mark of Lick Branch Cove and did not resurface.
The man’s body was recovered Sunday just after 9:35 a.m. and transported to Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon. This was the sixth drowning for MDHP Troop F at Lake of the Ozarks this year. The patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
