DENT COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 6p.m. Wednesday in Dent County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Polaris UTV driven by a 28-year-old Rolla woman was traveling on Dent County Road 2050 one mile west of County Road 2055. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The UTV returned to the road, overturned and the driver was ejected.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the county morgue. The MSHP no longer releases names of accident victims.
