CHRISTIAN COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Thursday in Christian County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Honda Ridgeline driven by a 48-year-old Clever, Mo., man was westbound on Old Wire Road just west of the Clever City limits. The pickup traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at Cox South Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the MSHP.
