WRIGHT COUNTY —A Missouri man died in an accident just after 11a.m. Monday in Wright County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 GMC 1500 driven by Sarah A. Thompson, 68, Ozark, was eastbound on U.S. 60 two miles east of Norwood.
The pickup traveled off the left side of the road and the driver overcorrected. The pickup then traveled off the right side of the road and the passenger identified as Christopher S. Thompson, 42, Ozark, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Mercy Life Flight transported the driver to Mercy Springfield. Christopher Thompson was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
