Mo. man dead, 3 others injured after Jeep rollover crash

OSAGE COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 1a.m. Wednesday in Osage County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Jeep Wrangler driven by Nathan L. Timpe, 20, Centralia was northbound near 474 County Road 807.

The Jeep traveled off the right side of the road, overturned, struck three trees and one occupant was ejected.

A passenger Riley M. Pipes, 19, Fulton, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger Braden M. Halter, 19, Cape Giradeau, was air-lifted to University Hospital.  EMS transported Jacob Stoner, 20, Congerville, Illinois, to Capitol Regional Medical Center. Kyle R. Burris, 20, St. Peters, refused treatment or a minor injury.  Timpe was not injured.  Pipes was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
