WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating a fatal motorbike crash in Wyandotte County have identified the driver died as 17-year-old Emillio Pereyra of Kansas City, Kansas, according to the the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department Traffic Fatality Unit.
Just after 10:30p.m. July 30, three individuals on motorbikes were traveling westbound on State Avenue on when they collided with a vehicle that was turning north onto N. 50th Terrace.
Pereyra was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second motorbike operator was transported to a local hospital, where they remain in critical condition. The third motorbike operator and the driver of the other vehicle was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
