CRAWFORD COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Saturday in Crawford County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Chevy Blazer driven by Danny E. Evans, 50, Cuba, MO., was eastbound on Interstate 44 just west of Route H.
The driver lost control of the SUV on an ice covered bridge. The vehicle traveled off the road, overturned and the driver was ejected.
EMS transported Evans and a passenger Tracey A. Evans, 51, Cuba, MO., to Missouri Baptist Hospital where Danny Evans was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
