CAMDEN COUNTY—One. person died in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Monday at Lake of the Ozarks.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Nina C. Rhodes, 78, Sunrise Beach, was northbound at 2957 Highway TT-Shawnee Bend Access.
The Jeep launched a vessel into the water from a towed trailer. The driver had an unknown medical event. She lost control of the vehicle while pulling the trailer from the water. The Jeep entered the water and submerged with the driver still inside.
Rhodes was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Kidwall Garber Funeral Home.
