HOWARD COUNTY—A Missouri woman died in an accident just after 1a.m. Thursday in Howard County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Hyundai Tucson driven by Victoria A. Cooper, 50, St. Louis, was southbound on Route O just north of County Road 130.
The SUV traveled off the road, struck a drainage culvert, fence post and a tree. Cooper was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
