
OSAGE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon on drug allegations.
Just before 2a.m. Tuesday, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop at on U.S. 75 in Osage County for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located.
A passenger in the vehicle, Frederick L. Sanders, 51, of Topeka, was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. He has two previous drug convictions, according to the Kansas Dept. of Corrections.
