JASPER COUNTY —A Missouri man died in an accident just before 4p.m. Tuesday in Jasper County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Fiat driven by Emmanuel I. Lovell, 20, Sarcoxie, was northbound on MO 37 at County Road 40 in Sarcoxie.
The vehicle pulled into the path of an eastbound 2002 Ford F250 driven by Eden J. Sims, 19, Sarcoxie.
Lovell was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home. EMS transported Sims to Mercy Joplin. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
