GREENE COUNTY –One person died in an accident just after midnight Wednesday in Greene County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by James J. Brackney, 53, Springfield, was northbound on Farm Road 141 three miles north of Springfield.
The motorcycle struck a deer in the road and ejected both occupants.
EMS transported Brackney to Mercy Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The passenger Brandi A. Brackney, 46, Springfield, was transported to Cox South. They were not wearing helmets, according to the MSHP.
